Speaking of wrong messages: My daughter was teased by some boys at McDonald's and couldn't let it go so I said she should pray for them (not a huge part of our life but I was out of ideas.) She clasped her tiny hands together and said, "Jesus, please zap those boys off the earth. Amen."
Mac Kennedy 😂
😂
Jesus has no objections if he exists: he once zapped some boys off the earth for mocking a bald man so that isn't completely out of the question.
Also I love that because in today's social environment you immediately went to the "not a big part of our lives but I was out of ideas" place to avoid bullying. Funny/sad. We can't have an opinion one way or the other anymore without someone being an asshole. Believe in nothing some asshole tells you you're going to hell, believe in something and someone calls you a trump loving idiot. There are no winners.
@@gracehaven5459 dude chill. He was just telling a story with detail.
"Get in your room and watch 30 rock"
Imagine having a cool punishment / demand from your parent like that
@@meharawal309 If this would happen to me, I'd be so thankful.
This is old but I officially hate comment that just repeat something from the video in quotation marks. That's not a comment, that's a quote.
@@Prince_the_One Yeah the comment was made a long time ago and I just can aggree with yours. At the time I thought what she said was funny so I quoted her. I'm sorry if somebody got annoyed by it. I do not do these kind of comments any more.
@@smileyface2007 Don't worry if it annoyed someone! Me and 2K other people liked it. But you do you! 😘
“You don’t go to Aunt Amy for that!”

*Tina's daughter:* Hey, a friend's sister showed me a bunch of UA-cam videos of you talking about me on different talk shows.
*Tina:* Uhhh... nope, that was Sarah Palin.
@Carlo Cocciolo to be fair, they talked more about media-taste rather than like potty training or something similar. She should respect her daughter’s boundaries, but I could see this being an acceptable topic if they’re on the same page about it
love that her daughter watched the office and parks and recreation but didn't like 30 rock lmaooooo poor tina
30 Rock is incredible
Imagine your mom encouraging you to binge watch tv all summer
My mom and I binge watch together...
Unheard of for me, but I guess it happens if you have comedians as parents
Yeah, that's so dysfunctional. Comedians are notoriously maladjusted and really shouldn't have kids.
Totally not the point of the video but "Aunt Amy" got me, i love it so much, I love them!!!
*Not to be a mood-killer but TBH:* Mr Seth threw it in her mouth.
@@maazkalim no she said it first in the "Big Little Lies" reference
Ohhh.. Yeah!
I stand corrected on that "Zoe Kravitz" part, Mr "@@osterdeicher8140".
"that woman in big little lies" lol she remembered zoe kravitz but not reese witherspoon
Manish Mathur she "who'd" Reese Witherspoon 🙀
I think she didn't remember the name of the character
This interview was scripted. She didn’t forget Reese Witherspoon’s name, she wasn’t part of the story.
That In itself is hilarious. Reese who?
"AUNT AMY"
*Not to be a buzz-kill but TBH:* Mr Meyers threw it in her mouth.
@@maazkalim Um, Tina said "You come to me for that, not Aunt Amy and Mike Schur" before Seth then used Aunt Amy.
@@maazkalim not you answering every comment saying the same thing lmfao
Uh-huh?!? "@@ems-l6y"
honestly she seems like the best mom ever

"Get in your room and watch 30 Rock!" This will be my motto when I have kids
my dad did it to me and im on the last epiode in a matter of 2 week im not ready for it to end
We all took the wrong message from Mean Girls according to what I remember from my childhood
#teenroyalty 👸🏻
@Mara L Random reply but okay.
@Mara L But your just talking about the characters.
@Mara L While that's certainly true about Janice and her obsession, Regina was still a mean girl regardless as she wasn't only mean to Janice.
I knew a girl with long blonde hair who watched mean girls, she came into school the next day pretending that she was Regina George because she “looked like her” I remember her coming up to me and saying “you are Karen because your stupid”
the daughter will probably love 30 Rock when she’s older
It's a great show
She was in one of episodes
Man, it is definitely nice to have artists as parents. She sounds so proud that her kids watched lots of TV and movie. And she encourages it too. 😱😱
Tina Fey is just so beautiful and funny love her so much ❤️❤️
Tina Fey is probably like the one person I would lose my mind if I were to meet her. I just love her so much!
she's so down to earth
There is NOTHING better than listening to Tina Fey talk about her daughters.
That compilation of her talking about her daughter is hilarious 😂

I thought you meant a small part of this video then and was about to say the whole thing and then I realised what you meant and then I decided to write a comment about it and now I'm apologising for wasting your time as well as my own
My 8 year old is totally into old black and white tv comedy shows. Leave It to Beaver, Dennis the Menace, Beverly Hillbillies, Lucy, and The Andy Griffith Show to name a few.
30 ROCK IS THE GREATEST THING THAT HAS HAPPENED TO ME
Jack: I want to Tupac you?
Jenna: Fine but I gave to pee first
LMAO
this is so funny i was about 12 when i started watching 30 rock and that show literally shaped me as a human woman lol man i need to rewatch it for like the 5th time now im 21
Tina is amazing in how normal she is.
Tina is such a gorgeous woman. And as far as I can tell, a gorgeous human being as well.
Tina Fey is wonderful and gorgeous and an icon and I hope she's happy forever because she makes us all so darn happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She just gets funnier with more beautiful with age
She truly is a National Treasure!
Can't wait to see the musical❤️
If I was younger and I watched 30 Rock and saw my mom in it, I’d spend like three hours breathlessly explaining the parts I liked from random episodes to her even though she created, wrote, produced, directed, and starred in it. Tina is my spirit animal, my spirit aunt, my advisor, my influencer, my inspiration, and my dawg.
Absolute genius! What lucky kids! Such a funny, sweet, and smart person!
I'm having goosebumps, cryings and laughing at the same time. Tina is amazing.
That dress though 😍
So happy Tina Fey had girls. Excited for this new generation of strong, funny, dynamic women!!
I wish I could like this a million times. She is an American treasure
Jared Gallegos she's a messanger for the Bilderberg Group, as IS Sethi, and SNL. YOU'RE LISTENNG TO IDIOTS.
....a treasure? Quick let's bury it!
penchewcap Get off the crack, pal
WHAT ABOUT COMMUNITY, i think it’s the greatest yet most underrated nbc show
"I want to go to there" -Liz Lemon
WHY AM I NOT TINA FEY'S DAUGHTER
Tina's the embodiment of ''cool mom''.
"I'm not a regular mom, I'm a cool mom" 😆
I watched some of those old black and white comedies when I was younger. Then I became truly accustomed to color programming, so now if I watch something in black and white I spend all my time trying to figure out what color everything was.
I liked older shows more when I was in middle school. I went through I Love Lucy so quickly when I was about 11.
This interview lives rent free in my head, specifically the part about 30 Rock. IT'S JUST SO GOOD I CAN'T ACCEPT THAT HER DAUGHTER DOESN'T SEE THAT 😩😩😩
When I was a kid my take away was okay, so let's coordinate our wardrobes and wear pink 👒👜💅 I was like 11 maybe lmao
She's gotta tell her daughter to start 30 rock at season 2. I'm a huge fan but I've never managed to watch season 1 it's just too weird
I really tried to like 30 rock. Could not do it.
What, I’ve watched the first season 4 times
I always recommend starting with the 2nd and then going back to the first later. It's not bad but it just hadn't found its footing yet, honestly that's a lot of comedies though.
Is Season One weird? I felt like it was weird later on, but not at the start. I've watched it seversl times
Only for like a few episodes, really. I used to think the whole first season was a rough start, but then I rewatched and it had some absolute classics in there.
30 rock is my jam. Never will it lose it's hilarity.
Her kids will never know to put chips on their sandwiches.
That dress though...! She looks gorgeous!
"Your Daughters, Twelve and Six" Those are really odd names for "Alice is the 12 year old" Ohh, Seth Meyers was just talking weird.
Can you explain what you mean in this comment?
I thought Seth Meyers was saying the daughters names were Twelve, and Six. Until he said one of the actual names of the children, and realized he had been giving their ages.
Caboose 92m lol- Stranger Things making you think numbers are now legit girls' names
Caboose 92m i had to read your comment 5 times omg. grammar please
Not really grammar lmao. I understood it. It’s called reading comprehension.
the fact that Tina's first child is 12 makes me feel old. Also it means I've been a Tina fey fan for a loooong time. :/
“I just like a gentle Mike Schur sensibility!!” I think about this quote way too much….
Their collective shock at the binge watching...they dont know lol
Tina: my daughter is annoyed I keep talking about her on tv
Also Tina: proceeds to talk about her daughters for the whole clip
Tina needs to do twice as many interviews. At least.
Tina is beautiful in a quirky kind of way.
Tina Fey is still so hot
MS NORBURYYYYY TINA FEY THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR WRITING MEAN GIRLS!!! SUCH AN ICONIC MOVIE WITH SO MANY LESSONS TO TEACH ❤️❤️❤️
30 Rock is the best thing I've seen ever, ever.
Let’s play mean girls, I’m Regina I yell at you
30 rock is the best comedy show of the 21 century hands down!
1:59 is going to be me with my kids about 30 Rock
She surely recommended Oscar Wilde. When Fey was at The University of Virginia the Faculty in Literature was (as it really always is) quite strong, and D.J. Pancake was a Graduate Student there and Stephen Malkmus was a Genius there....
I literally JUST finished watching Mean Girls and I was going to look up Tina Fey but it popped up on my recommended
Tina! Sweet beautiful mama Tina! You're my everything, but always start people on the 2nd or 3rd season of 30 rock! Its like west wing, it feels more natural right in with these relationships, than jump back to see how they got that way
Haha I think we all did. I appreciate the satire as an adult, but as a 6th grader, we were a little too impressed by the plastics.
Makeup and touch-ups, you meant?
@@maazkalim Plastics as in the friend group consisting of Regina George, Gretchen Weiners, and Karen Smith from 'Mean Girls'
Ahh..
So a fictional frat.
Gotcha'!
Thanks much, "@@devilsadvocate9343". 👍🏾👍🏾 😊
And just to think we used to see these two almost every week on SNL’s Weekend update...
AUNT AMY
If somebody said Tina Fey and Seth are siblings. I would definitely believe them.
I would absolutely love to sit around and discuss the Office with Alice.
Can you imagine what the teacher thought when the girl says "Let's play Mean Girls! I'm Regina, I yell at you!" 😂😂😂😂
I think almost everyone in my high school missed the message from Mean Girls too.
Mean Girls was an icon
My kids are 13 and 14. Just got to go through the whole series of Corner Gas now that they’re old enough. For you Americans, that’s an awesome Canadian show.
Yeah I will make my kids watch friends, the office, Parks and Recreation Brooklyn nine nine, big bang theory.
That's my opinion on 30 ROCK too..."IT"S TOO WEIRD FOR ME"
It's a little bit overstuffed, she was right in that, gotta give that to her. Too much happening, too quick, too "intelligent' so-called, but it needs to give you a break. It's different to write something that you put time into than if you were speaking live.
You need time to breathe or re-read the paragraph or put down to book to let it sink in to watch 30 Rock
I agree with you. I watched season 1 and tried to watch season 2 and then stopped watching it. But that's not the same case with Parks and Rec. I like parks and rec..
Satya, fair enough. I think you have to stick with it. It stays wierd but it took them time to find their rythem. I quite liked the first season, wasnt keen on 2, and maybe even 3 but still had enough funny moments. But the few seasons after that it really picks up.
It is weird, but it's FANTASTIC!
I love the weirdness of 30 Rock, and I love The Office... But Parks and Rec didn't do it for me. It just wasn't too weird enough.
I love Tina Fey!!
I wish she’d make the mean girls sequel already
I really liked 30 Rock when it was on. But I think maybe the first season isn't so good because I tried showing it to my niece and there were hardly any laughs. But she likes the Office and Parks and Rec.
Her kids are gonna be awesome
LOVE her dress
LOVE 30 Rock! Love Tina Fey!
Totally relatable as a parent ahahahah I love Tina Fey
She would be a blast to be around.
I want to meet her daughter! She is just like me omg!
no fucking way Alice is 12 already!!!
I wish my mom would tell me to go to my room and watch 30 Rock 😂
She's amazing
LOL I agree with her daughter's taste
Tina Fey gets more beautiful and funnier every time I see her
How does she not know reese Witherspoon?😂😂😂
Reese knows why! ;)
I can't watch this because the ad won't load and I can't get UA-cam to give me another ad. I just want to watch Tina Fey!
It's time to get adblock plus, then.
hi, several ppl here have commented on Seth's "fake" laugh...but i don't think it's fake, i think that's just how he laughs :)
Wonder if she pushed her daughter to watch mean girls like the way she was saying that she was going to push cady in math class
I can relate. 30 rock is so uninteresting.
they watched park&rec !!
HOW DID SHE NOT LIKE 30 ROCK THAT'S FUNDAMENTAL SMART MODERN COMEDY
she's 12
And her mom is in the show!!!
Love this woman!
I LOVE THE ANDY GRIFFITH SHOWWW
Seth is so cute when he laugh !!
Can’t imagine Tina being my mom and Amy being my aunt
God damn.... The office doesn't hold a candle to 30 Rock
That dress!!!! 🔥
Anyone else love her dress?
