Seth is probably the best at enthusistically interviewing guests he's really not interested in. So its always a treat when when he gets to interview his besties like Amy Poehler or Fred Armisen or John Oliver.
When they cut to Fred and he was about to say his New Year's Resolution and they both were like "nope!" That made me belly laugh. I love Fred so much and I wish they'd use show him more on the show.
The Tim Robinson callout was on point. I could definitely see 'cult rules getting crazier' being a skit.

@@gheller2261She got heavier as part of the normal human ageing process. Then she clearly had a lot of surgery. It's Hollywood: what can you expect?
@@EdwardLindon People don't automatically get heavier as part of the normal aging process. Some do, sure, but that's not a rule. Either she had a pregnancy or perhaps she gained weight after her divorce. But she lost weight and that has nothing to do with surgery, which I do not think is "clear" that she has had. Same face, just a bit older to match her age.
I don't care who the guest was supposed to be, this is what I wanted 🥰
Nothing in my life would give me more satisfaction or a sense of accomplishment than being friends with Fred, Amy and Seth. I would forgo all degrees and career to happily sweep floors at a gas station, reading group chats from my new buddies.
I’m so happy when I see Amy and Seth hanging out together whether it’s at an event or on the show. I’m like a child of divorce, hoping that every time they meet they’ll realise they missed each other and they should get back together. On a comedy level of course?!
Amy, I've been replying "I'm doing the best I can" to "How are you?" since the pandemic started. People expect to hear "good" so they stop, sometimes frown a little, and end up saying "well, that's all you can do!" which is correct, and sometimes they follow it up with "I'm going to start saying that!" I'm glad you're jumping on the train!
I hate when Amy is on because I know my productivity for the day is going to be completely shot while I fall down a 10 year UA-cam rabbit hole of interviews.
Yeah, stay away from intro drugs like, "oh, I'll just watch a couple Parks & Rec clips."
I could probably have found a cure for cancer, if it were not for Amy, Tina, Aubrey Plaza, Triumph, Samberg, Oliver, Norm, Mulaney and all those people who are insanely funny in interviews.

I rarely watch the celebrity interview but these two are always gold. The Seth/Amy interview is almost as good as the Conan/Chappelle interviews of the early 90s. If you know you know.

Every time Seth interviews one of his friends, it's worth watching, because it's just a conversation between funny people, rather than an actual interview. Amy Poehler, Bill Hader, Andy Samberg, John Oliver, John Mulaney, Colin Jost... all of their interviews are gold.

Last year, Rachel Dratch came on the show last minute to cover for an absent guest. Months later, Drew Barrymore came on the show and said she had to cancel a previous appearance on the show due to being sick. I wonder if we’ll ever find out who canceled this time.

My friend dragged me and 4 other friends while in Paris to go find the friggin' love lock from Parks and Rec' at about 4 am. I hadn't even seen the show at that point ( but as soon as I started I was hooked).
Did it go missing? Yes. Can I account for his time in this relevant period? No. Did he do it? Can't be ruled out. They get removed en masse anyway, so it was a matter of time, but someone did take it.
