Awesome scenery, impressive mountains and finally a good Chamois spotted and missed. No worries a miss is part of the hunting, and if one says he has never missed, it is either a fib, or one hasn't done much hunting,5*. Best Regards from Down under,Tony.
One of the best hunting videos ive seen in a long time ! Wonderfull landscape and amazing scenes. And perfect atmosphere with music and everything. Perfect ! All the best, Max (BCB)
+BushcraftBear thank you so much for your kind words and appreciation! It's nice to know our hard work that goes into hunting/filming/editing/producing these films is appreciated by you, the viewer. There is a whole lot more to come & it's only going to get better :-)
It is ok to miss a 300m shot. Not every day is a lucky day. Better luck next time and keep in mind not just the distance but the angle of shooting is very important at 300m. Good Luck.
Owen, i enjoy the first part with difference wheather conditions, great landscape, good and bad feelings. I hope that you got the Second. Waidmannsheil Dreispross
+Dreispross ....Thanks for the comment, it was a real challenge with a 3 hour steep climb the one day, fog and rain and then snow as well. The area was fabulous and the quality of the Chamois was excellent. As with all our films we want the viewer to feel like they are on the hunt as well, we try and show all elements of a hunt, hence shooting a target at step angles and long distances tests even the most experienced hunters, hence showing the miss, shot at +300m...... keep watching :-)
I wonder did you use optics as they are supposed to be used telling you how many clicks or was it You new the distance and an educated guess.?I'm interested as I have the same system but in 6.5x55 . Love the videos I wonder what camera you use?
