Believe it or not our 2020 team wasn't very talented based on Florida teams of the past. 2012 Florida went 11-2 and came up a play short of winning the SEC East. Florida lost to a great Georgia team and awesome Louisville team. Now injuries are always a question its why Florida couldn't build on their 2012 season in 2013 went 4-8 first losing season since 1979, because of 26 major injuries. 2014 injuries were a problem again with 7 major starters out before the season started and than another 12 hurt in the season even with that Florida pulled out a 7-5 season. Florida highest talent level for its history as a team came in 2008 only team that comes close to that one is 1994 team. 2012 team is the same talent level as the 1997 team. Florida 2023 team will be a bit higher than the 2012 team not much higher so this years Florida team will have the same talent level as 1998 Florida team. Which sadly lost to Tennessee and FSU. The 2 teams that played in the first ever BCS Championship game.

We may not have the stats on paper from position to position like other schools but that team connection is more important than that and that is where I think we are setting ourselves apart.
