Just saw these guys at Northern Kin Festival. Never heard of them before. Love 'em I was blown away. Carrying on a great tradition of electrified Celtic folk-rock
Saw them with my husband last night at The Broward Center of the Performing Arts. Great band with very talented musicians. Great song, I think it should be in a movie soundtrack or in a commercial.
Looking forward to getting out and about in Scotland after this series of lockdowns Also seeing bands live again like Skerryvore ,RURA ,Talisk ,Breabach , Elephant Sessions musicians and singers like Ross Ainslie ,Julie Fowlis ,Ainslie Hamill Duncan Chisholm ,Conal McDonagh and so many ,many more of the great places and musicians we have all around us here,

I first heard this played on radio2 folk hour. I liked it the moment I heard it and cranked the volume up. I'm sorry to say I had never heard of skerryvore before this point although an avid rubric fan.... Exactly a week later (almost to the minute) I was sat in Stamford arts centre watching skerryvore live. Such an amazing band and fantastic musical talents.
Totally agree! Very easy on these Irish eyes & my ears still can't get enough! Thanks for including Dublin on the tour! Truly hope you'll be back in 2018.
Impressive! My wife and I saw these guys in Canterbury, and I remember this song and its melody well. Skerryvore aren't my favourite Scottish rock band, but a. sometimes I don't know who is, and b. as a folk musician myself I appreciate the tin whistles, violins and occasional bagpipes in the band's music.
Life would be complete if we could see Skipinnish Skerryvore The vatersay boys Peat and Diesel All under the one roof for one epic night of trad!!! Make it happen boys!

I listen to most scot Gael music but a favourite is Heron Valley home
The one with which I'm most familiar is Runrig, but I don't know many other scottish bands. I'm open to recommendations!
