I must confess that when I want to listen to Marathon (my favourite Rush song), I sometimes come for this video rather than the original guys...
I do to and get emotional every time. It just hits.
Best Rush cover band ever.
The vocals are sooooo close. Pitch perfect and captures Ged's attack. Outstanding band. I miss seeing Rush live after 40 plus years of shows. These guys give folks a chance to hear this music live. Thanks
Hopefully Neil is looking down from the thunder above and smiling at this. Great job gentlemen. RIP Professor Peart.
Honestly, the best Rush tribute band I've ever seen. Very well done.
Indeed.
You might want to also check out New World Men. The best two Rush Tribute bands are Lotus Land and New World Men.
The crazy thing about NWM is that it if the drummer who sings lead vocals, I wouldn’t think that singing Geddy while playin Neil on drums would be impossible until I saw a UA-cam video of NWM. Check them out. If you like these guys, you should also like NWM?
Right
All right, because they are 3 members... Are others tribute bands, I was on one, and here in Spain we have 2yy2, are 3 guys and goods... But I love this L. Land. Tribute.
@@RoarOfWolverine Yeah New World Men are great too. YYNOT is very good too, but they have 4 members.
Best Geddy-like voice I have heard. Great!
The drumming in this song is absolutely insane. Respect.
Heck yes!!!
The Professor left a great legacy for humanity
Finally a Rush cover I can respect
These guys put every other Rush cover band to utter shame.
Love the David Gilmour-inflected take on the guitar soloing! Just wonderful.
Neil is smiling from the heavens.
LotusLand is the greatest Rush cover band ever.
One rush song you don't hear often; they pulled it off.
I must have played drums to this song about thirty or forty times, never quite got it . This guy nailed it!
Awesome.
I love your bass covers! It's cool to see you're a fan of Lotus Land.
Good stuff
If the rush bass covers Wizard TJH3113 says that it's simply the truth.
As a huge RUSH fan and heart broken that we may never see them live again. Lotus Land kind of eases the pain. They are awesome! I nearly fell out of my chair hearing Lotus Land for the first time.t
This is amazing ! The middle section in 7 is tour de force !
Best RUSH tribute band ever...dude has a great voice!!
Best Rush tribute band I've ever heard!!
Me? I never thought a tribute band would even attempt RUSH let alone Marathon. I stand so impressed I don't know what to say.
What astounded me is these guys actually did mimic RUSH
Awesome real tight - great vocals and playing
This version in a few millimetres better that the original, its got a crispness to it, but these guys are just
AWESOME.....thank you for all your hard work...😃😃👍👍
The search for the best rush tribute ends here!
Power Windows is my favorite Rush album.
Mine too. That album gives me goosebumps in many moments.
Thank you. I wore that cassette out on my walkman in 1986...twice!
Saw you guys a month ago. Gonna see you guys again next week 👍. Please, GOD, Play Marathon! 🙏👍
Congratz 👏👏....cheers from Milan 🍷🇮🇹
by far the best Rush tribute band
I think of this song whenever I pass by a Marathon gas station here in Michigan. This version is excellent, and is one of my fave Rush songs!
The first thing that impressed me about Rush when I discovered them in 1983 was the musicianship. The first thing that impresses me about Lotus Land is also their musicianship and that they are so incredibly faithful to the music of Rush (especially Chris's vocals.) Incredibly talented people who have spent many years perfecting their craft. Kudos guys.
+Mark Howard wow.. Mark,, thank you so much! We do spend hours and hours and years of hours trying to get a version of a RUSH song that we thing will pass the test. Thanks for noticing. We greatly appreciate it.
A-MEN INCREDIBLE i watched this about 100 times im a new drummer and i am Blown away!! speechless!!
@@lotuslandrushtribute8624 Coming to see you this Saturday! Can't wait - will be my first show. I am not normally a big fan of "cover" bands but you guys are on a totally different level and you kept it to 3 people and are crushing it like nobody else! If there were ever a band who deserves proper covering, it's Rush so for that - thank you for doing them right!
Just saw you in upstate NY with my dad after growing up attending Rush concerts. We had an absolute blast. Thank you so much for sharing this music.
Wow!!! Rush fan 43 yrs that was incredible guys. Bloody incredible. ✌️🥰X
You guys really nailed climax of the song!Thank God Rush lives on!
Of all the Rush tribute bands on the scene, their “Geddy” is unquestionably the best. Has the vocal range to hit the high notes from all eras of Rush’s catalog, plus the keys and bass chops
To Chris Mark &Bob I have been watching countless hours of rush tribute bands and there is not one band who can hold a candle to you 3 gentleman I'm speechless every time I play your music . Your musicianship is impeccable! Chris you are an amazing vocalist, Mark Holy Shit your one of the best drummers I have ever seen! Next to Neil!! No bullshit! Bob what a killer guitar player, please keep on doing what your doing total Amazing !
Thank you for the kind words Michael. We appreciate it very much!
Unreal! This performance gave me the chills. An excellent cover of one of my favorite songs!
God Damn this is awesome!
Please come to WISCO!
GREATEST 3-PIECE TRIBUTE BAND IN THE WORLD!
It’s awesome how the singer sounds just like 1985 Geddy Lee and he sounded like 1978 Geddy Lee on the Hemispheres rendition. Marathon is such an inspiring song comparing a lifetime to a marathon race. The lyrics ring true even in 2021 with all the world turbulence. Great job guys.
wow. breathtaking performance!
I literally cannot believe my ears … I texted my buddy this and he was driving so he just clicked on and played it and had no idea it was a cover band lol … bravo !! The professor is definitely smiling down from heaven ..
These guys were born to play this music.
How have I never heard of you guys??? You're truly the best Rush tribute band I've seen...amazing musicianship and those vocals are spot on my guy WOW!!!!!
This is the first Rush cover band that I have ever seen, but I can not see any other Rush cover band being better than these guys.
It's June, 2021, and I'm spreading your links like crazy! love love love.
Holy shit.. This is got to be the best Rush tribute band I've ever heard!! Fucking unreal!!!
this is like Rush where Neil looks like Alex .... nice job this is very well done
Well done boys....it's a pleasure to listen and watch you perform.
Dudes! The best.
WOW. Just wow. Rendered speechless.
Amazing !

Rush lives again Thank you
Love to see you play in the UK .
Absolutely amazing, flawless
These guys are amazing
Great job guys!. The video is awesome. Your Performance is stellar.
BOOM! Brilliant cover of one of the best synth era Rush songs.
I have been listening to rush since i was 15 years old. Im a drummer playing in bands my whole life.neil has been my mentor. My idol. My teacher my entire life.May he rest in peace. This band is the most talented group of musicians i have ever seen in a long time.the bass players voice just floors me.Reminds me of geddy back in the farewell to kings album. The best i have seen ever in a tribute band. Blows mind how amazing these guys are!!!!!
This is amazing! I love that you can actually hear the guitar, as the original recording had Alex buried in the mix.
Bravo 👏 🎉
As a life long Rush fan I’ve been sceptical about cover bands, but holy fuck this band are such a brilliant tribute.
WOW - absolutely blew me away... superb musicians.... and that voice!! Just brilliant. I'm hoping this group is still around? Uncanny technique by the tub thumper...very Peart-eque!!!
Miss you guys! You need to include this song in every show!
Great time at the Met. In R.I. much talent, much praise. Thanks for the memories!
Blimey!! Get yourselves over to the UK - you will pack venues over here.
👍👏
Excellent job, fellas!
This just gets better & better everytime I watch this.
I watch it at least once a week.
Blown away! So good. What a song to cover and covered so well. The drumming is crazy good. Respect!
I can only repeat what others have said already.Absolutely BRILLIANT!
Well done.............................difficult song to play!
Deadly boys. Way to keep the magic alive!
Powerful!!!! Lotus land rocks hard!!! And RUSH 4 ETERNITY
Always the best sound quality with you boys 😊❤
You guys blew me away at the Sellersville Theater a few years back. If it can't be Rush, it has to be Lotus Land. I'll be seeing them again for sure!!
Dare I say it, better than the original.
Very respectable.
You guys are insane...The best Rush Cover Band in Galaxy.......
Fantastic artists! I enjoyed watching the video performance and was completely absorbed by the audio. Your endeavor to cover RUSH music may very well be a greater task than most will ever appreciate and/or comprehend?! I wish you all much peace and happiness on your journey through this world. I truly respect your craft and appreciate you sharing it!
3 ROLAND PK5A INSANE!
Lucky enough to (hopefully) be seeing you guys live this April. Can’t wait!
This band has talent, chemistry, and top end equipment. Bravo!!!
DAMN! JUST DAMN! MY 2ND FAVORITE VERSION OF THIS SONG!
So good… bravo
Love the subtle snowflakes falling in the view from the Drummers Window in the early part of video. Forget about the heat.
Thank you for doing the greatest rock band justice! You guys ROCK!
I love how every rush tribute band’s drummer has their kit set up just like Neils. 👍🏼
Wow. Top notch. Holy moly. Every part is covered but those vocals are always every bands issue with Rush, but not these guys. A++
Best cover ever. Brilliant work chaps. 🇬🇧
Nice old Genista kit!
Spot on. The boys would be proud.
Not what I was expecting from a Tribune band , you guys definitely it justice. It sounded more like a studio mix, much respect you have a new fan.
Awesome guys! Thanks for keeping the music or RUSH relevant!
There's been Beatlemania, The Musical Box(Genesis tribute) and The Australian Pink Floyd show, but no one has ever come closer to the source material than Lotus Land. Closer to The Heart, indeed.
That was amazing.
Amazing 🐇🥃
WOW - this guy is the CLOSEST Geddy sounding vocal out of any Rush cover band EVER and I mean ANY of them. Nice job guys, can you tour more ? !! please !
easily the BEST Rush cover band there ever was
Kudos to the people who produced excellent audio and video footage for thies
Yes, yes, yes!
It's funny how Geddy Lee's vocals are the most criticized aspect of Rush, but it's the most impossible thing to replicate in Rush tribute band, and we are talking about Rock's best drummer. This is the closest I've heard to real thing overall, including the vocals.
