Episode 10... It's decision time for the 32 NFL teams who have been watching the 16 Athletes from the International Player Pathway Class of 2024. Who will get the long awaited call from a team and who is going to miss out after weeks of hard work?
A new series which will be following the Journey of Louis Rees-Zammit and the class of 2024 as they embark on their pursuit of the NFL dream via the International Player Pathway Program. On this 10 week intensive training camp, we will bring you unrivalled access to the players, the coaches and the lives of the young men trying to achieve something only few will do... Play in the National Football League.

So happy for Louis! I'm not an American football fan as such. But I'll be doing my best to follow his career. Which I guess is the whole point of this, bring in new fans

Pick a team (never the Cowboys) and start watching. Once you get what's going on, you'll be hooked and have a new thing to look forward to every week. We can never have enough stuff to look forward to I'd say

Chiefs have a huge tradition of great ST players . Can see LRZ being like Albert Lewis or Tamerick Vanover. (Not Dante Hall though, way too tall.). After a season or two get him involved in the offense.
Surprised Mallinder didn’t feature more, he’s got a lot of talent as a punter/ kicker. Interested to hear what happened to him

Hopefully the rock knows about this program and offers the players that dont get signed a chance to play in tje ufl which might be better for them cuz they might actually get more playing time there
Totally agree. UFL should also do similar thing with some free practice squad roster placements, and ability to move to game squad 3 times a season without signing etc.

I know this was meant to be a 10-part series, but it would have been great to have episode 11(: draft day) to see who gets selected from the IPP
Think 3 guys made teams. LRZ to Kansas. Travis Clayton to Buffalo. Charlie Smythe ( kicker) to New Orleans Saints. Haven't heard about anyone else yet but all 32 teams have still been signing undrafted free agents since the draft ended

Whats the difference between being draft eligible and not? As in for what specific reason are two of them draft eligible?
It has to do with their age or how long they have been out of college/ school.
3 of them are draft eligible. The others are free agents

Just talking about this with my buddy. Spit take is it has to do with age and/or how long they've already played professionally. Probably got explained early on in the series but I can't remember.

Lol it’s simple if there under 23 they are classed as university ie when USA players can enter the draft they can sign a rookie contract if drafted and that will be a guaranteed money to them
