    gr8 way of learning the information that you actually need to know for a test..... teachers in school overwhelm you with information that is not required to ace exams.

      The aim of these videos is to condense the content to focus on key bits, since there is a lot to know for Biology, so I'm glad you found them helpful! Thanks for watching :D

    Am I right to say that the water travelling upwards in the xylem doesn't follow a symplastic or apoplastic pathway? Thank you :)

    Factor affecting the rate of transpiration is no more in the new syallbus is it or am I confused about this .

      They probably would include this in an application question rather than a specific content point.

    how does water form hydrogen bonds with the wall of the xylem?i don't think that's correct

    • @Oscar-rf3eh
      @Oscar-rf3eh 2 роки тому +2

      it forms H bonds with the carbohydrates in the walls of the xylem vessels - process is termed adhesion.

    isn't transpiration the loss of water vapour by diffusion not evaporation?

    • @BioRach
      @BioRach  4 роки тому +2

      Both works, since it's about how water particles diffuse out of the stomata. And since water vapour moving away from the water source is evaporation, we tend to use this word to make it specifically about water *vapour*.
