This Latin Advent hymn welcoming the promised Messiah has its origins over 1,200 years ago in monastic life in the 8th or 9th century. It was translated into English by British priest, scholar, and translator John Mason Neale in 1851. We’re singing a beautiful new setting by Austin-based Timothy Kile.
