Ehhh no I personally love the Netflix version of both Dracula and Alucard a bit more. They definitely fit This one definitely with a darker narrative but they definitely went more in depth into the characters minds in the Netflix adaptation (surprisingly given its fucking Netflix) you can feel more of Dracula’s human side where you get to see the monstrous nature of man more through Issac.

IIRC, the LoS arc is actually a timeline "reboot" separate from the originals. In LoS, Gabriel becomes Dracula. In the originals it's Mathias Cronqvist who serves as the first incarnation. A tactician and alchemist who similarly turns his back on God after losing his wife (Elizabeth) while away on a crusade (or something like that) and turns himself into a vampire. Thereby betraying Leon Belmont (his best friend) who swears his bloodline will hunt him down forever. Cue the rest of the Belmonts hunting him down. The same with Alucard. In LoS it's Trevor Belmont, the human son of Gabriel and Marie turned vampire by ingesting the blood of his (by then vampire) father. In Symphony it's Adrian Tepes (needed some Googling on the name), a half-vampire born from Dracula (Mathias) and a human mother (Lisa, who was burned as a witch). So the LoS1, Morror of Fate and LoS2 trilogy are a stand-alone series. That was my understanding, at least. I do have LOS1 and 2 still original (MoF digitally). I only missed the DLC's so had to learn the deal with Laura that turned him into a vampire seperately. I'm way too much of a hoarder to actually get rid of a game, even the games I don't really like.

This timeline is pretty straightforward with little bit of inconsistency. So the game in chronological order would be Los 1, mirror of fate then Los 2. The first scene where brotherhood attack drac castle happened during the first dracula resurection after gabiel was defeated by trevor and belmont at mirror of fate. Then after that drac was put on a deep sleep by alucard. After that he was awakened again like the start of the video
And even Alucard would've decided it was necessary, as in order for their plan to work they needed Drac back in shape. Though he might have picked other, less innocent humans to fill that role.

In all the flash backs you are fight Dracula's strongest followers/loss ends to his quest for the lords of shadow, the talking blood is also the life force of the castle witch Dracula's power keep alive simply by living their. In order for him to be free form the past and his hate he need to fight satan, zoobeck and himself. which sadly not many people have the wit to put 2 and 2 together leading the games to shit sales and review's. now the only new castlevaina games are all slot machine game in Japanese Casio's. tho the netfilx show did help bring new life the old saga so maybe we may get something in a few years.

This version of Dracula is more cooler than all the Dracula even more than the castlevania anime version and alucard is better here too
