I don't know about everyone else, but I love the lords of shadow story of dracula. Started out as a extremely religious man only to turn into that which he hunted. But he can't abandon his humanity entirely, which explains his behavior in lords of shadow 2. I just love it!!! The character development. The drama. What is this game series???!!!
Same here. I am a huge fan of the entire Castlevania saga, yet i love Lords of Shadow as well. The more western approach and the phylosophical view on humanity and faith are what makes me appreciate it so much. Also the fact that there are just 4 named Belmonts in Lords of Shadow but they characterized much better than in the main timeline and they feel more human. I can't decide between Simon and Trevor. I love both. Also, my father's name is Gabriele, and Gabriel in game behaves like my father does XX
Agreed. As someone who basically grew up on Castlevania, I honestly loved the LoS saga. I agree/admit that they weren’t the best and that there were flaws here and there, but I still don’t care what anyone, let alone critics say. The whole story and atmosphere had me hooked and the music was nothing short of incredible.
Yeah... Lords of Shadow's story can be hit or miss in places, but I feel like the first game and Mirror of Fate are probably the best in the series for their takes on the origin of Dracula and the fight between him and the Belmonts. LOS2 is great for the novelty of playing Dracula, but the overall game and its narrative is a little questionable.
You missed the 100% ending, where Alucard finds the Stake from the Vampire Killer (mentioned in LoS2 as the core of the Crissaegrim) and Simon bids him farewell as the castle crumbles.
I wish that the Castlevania video game series/media franchise would get it’s own Multiverse Crossover story between the NES/Prime Continuity’s Tepes-Alucard and Dracula, and the fan favorite Belmont Characters meeting their Lords of Shadow counterparts, including their Netflix Counterparts too, like how the Spider-Man and Final Fantasy franchises got to have their Popular Multiverse storylines/series Dissidia and Spider-Verse.
@@ominousblackknight I would have switched it with Act 2 instead, where Trevor's ending reveals Alucard is him, and then we watch his journey through the castle to join Simon against Dracula.

48:25 Dick Move. He just told you that he is here to guide you and you cripple him?
He brought up his wife and son as a negative, a very sensitive topic you shouldn't treat lightly, even if it's predestined.
The Trevor ending was so sad... poor Gabriel...
At the end of each night and day; you can't help but feel bad for Dracula.😔
Take about one big family feud
Epic! Awesome! A movie should be made!
at 36:32 gotta catchem all Pokémon Ball Haahaa
I thought the same >o
Does anyone else think that Act III should have been Act I?
No... the fact that they left it for last enhances the impact you get from understanding Trevor is Alucard and Simon's father
