Dimash was 22 in this video, now he's 27. You'll see that even then people thought he was already the boundary of human ability, our little "monster" is still improving every year. Yes he had a concert in London in 2018, he was having a high fever that day (which makes me feel so bad that I still hesitate to check out the videos on that day. Not because I worry about the quality of course, but exactly because I know that he'll always give the best for his dears, even though he was not in a good state... he is too good and I can't stand it 😭) . But among the few things that I did check out, there is an incredible piece of chanting added at the beginning of Late Autumn (also translated to Autumn Strong by many) at this concert, that was sooo beautiful and soul-washing.
He came to the UK in 2018 for a charity concert in London - fans from 48 different countries flew in and we all got together for a evening trip on the Thames the night before where his Dimash’s Mum, sister and Godmother came along!! His Mum, Sveta, sang acapello for us and gifted everyone tea! We also raised over a £1000 for charity! Confessa is in Italian!!! He just appeared in Dubai in the first show of her masterful tour which was attended by "dears" from 67 countries around the world. Soon he will be in Germany. Dimash sings in 14 languages!!!! Some say 15 because he added "Ikanaide" which is in Japanese!!!

This show is I Am Singer from China that Dimash was invited to take part in & he was the youngest & the only non Chinese contestant. All the other contestants were well known singers in China & it was expected that Dimash would only last 1 or 2 weeks - got that wrong eh? This show was 4 years ago when Dimash was 23 so he's now 28. The "Diva Dance" from the Bastau concert is the better one. In this performance he replaced the impossible part with that series of staccato notes. In the Bastau performance he put in a tricky descending run instead. In the movie they sampled the singer's voice, and played that part back on a sequencer, with no natural onsets or decays to the notes, which makes it sound alien. You can find the original on Y.T., and then change the playback speed to a half or quarter speed to compare. In "Confessa", the dancer represents the cheating wife in the song. The "Diva Dance" by itself would have been too short for the competition.

@2:04, Hey y'all... How are you feeling Carla? In this one it was just a tiny bit of the Diva Dance from the 5th Element after the song Confessa. IF you're like I am, you'll want to go watch him perform the Diva Dance at the ending of his full Bastau concert!! Idk if y'all know, but that song was 'made' almost completely with computer's to be "The Alien Song" so to speak but the producers etc of the movie planned it to be a song that was 'impossible' for anyone to sing!! Although they did use small bits from a woman soprano opera singer so it still sounds like a voice, and many people especially opera singers(women from what I've seen) have tried to sing it, but not only do they usually take it down an octave, but they can't ever do the low-lows and the highest-highs so yes, Dimash is known as #1 when it comes to doing the song in it's entirety... which of course is still not that long of a song, but the way he does it is absolutely breath-stealing! Lol... Yes I meant stealing because it's like you don't realize it but you can't breathe or move until he's done with it!! I'll go get y'all the link to the whole song from my playlist for him and the video of it, and you can tell he's at the end of a full concert because he is all sweating and everything which is even more incredible I think than to just do that song, but he is ALWAYS surprising us, so he did it for the finale 😳😁 And he STILL nails it!! "Diva Dance" made for the movie, a very good female singer recorded it and played the alien, but it was computer enhanced to make it unique and not made for the human voice... Yes Dimash was born with the talent of 10 people, but from the age of 5 and for the next twenty years he took voice lessons every day. He went to music schools, music High School, College and earned 2 Masters Degrees, one in voice and one in composition, and this year his PhD in musicology. Dimash started seriously studying music from the age of 5, performed for the first time with a song in front of the audience at the age of 6!!! And Dimash has been on stage since he was 2 years old, his parents are opera singers: his father is a tenor, his mother is a soprano. So it turns out that by the day of the competition Dimash has already had 16 years of experience performing on stage! In addition, Dimash rehearses daily, constantly learns from vocal masters, and he came to the competition in order to learn new things from Chinese singers. And unexpectedly for himself, he gained huge popularity and an army of thousands of fans.
There is a backstage video of Dimash performing the whole of the aria at university, it's incredible. We're pleading with him on every Instagram post he makes to come back to the UK. It was a very small concert before as he wasn't well known, the trouble is that every other country is doing the same thing!
It was amazing. Almost an unreal experience. I had to pinch myself to believe that I was actually there. I have been at three of his concerts, but my wish is to experience a small stage concert with Dimash again. Although his other concerts are spectacular, I only sees Dimash anyway
For the 5th Element movie they used a female opera singers voice which they computerised as at that time Dimash was not known. Also there was no human that could perform all the vocal variations required for the film.
Bastau 2018 concert version is the best performance. His voice was healthier, and changed it up. There is also a version performed in China as a duet for the Belt and Road initiative, where he let's out a G7 whistle note.

He performed in London in November 2018. On the occasion of Kazakhstan days or something like that. Many fans came especially to London, even from America, and Dimash gave a regular concert. The audience wasn't as large as they are today, but they were delighted. As far as I know this concert was supposed to be elsewhere in the UK, but they moved to London because of so many volunteers.

He certainly has been to the UK. In fact the UK performance is memorable for the fact that he broke down during his performance of SOS because he was supposed to be performing it with his best friend Olympic skater Dennis Ten but Dennis was murdered in Kazakhstan a few months before. There is footage of Dennis playing behind him and Dimash stops frequently during the song and then rushes off stage to pull himself together. The funny clip where Dimash lies down on stage to shake a fans hand is also from the London concert.

Dimash has been training his voice since he was 5, so 22 years as of now. Diva Dance for the movie had to be computerized, it was written so no human could ever sing it. The Bastau version is a good short of just Diva Dance. Carla please take care of yourself, both of my adult children were premature so I understand, take it easy ❤️ to both of you. BTW Dimash will be in Germany this coming Saturday.

For the scene the song’s composer, Eric Serra designed the piece with the intent that it would be impossible for a human to perform the high-pitch staccato sections. He had Inva Mula-Tchako, an Albanian opera lyric soprano, sing the notes individually so that they could then be arranged digitally and recorded. In the movie, this song is “performed” by an alien, Diva Plavalaguna, played by Maïwenn Le Besco. Dimash's performance of the "Diva Dance" from his Bastau concert is even more impressive. lol Dimash was 3 years old when that movie with Bruce Willis came out. It was a woman that played that part "Inva Mula (born 27 June 1963) is an Albanian opera lyric soprano. She began her soprano career at a very early age. Her father (Avni Mula) and mother (Nina Mula) were also opera singers. She is also known for providing the voice of the diva Plavalaguna in the film The Fifth Element." Just like Dimash both parents are award winning vocalists in their country. Yes he had a concert in London in 2018, he was having a high fever that day (which makes me feel so bad that I still hesitate to check out the videos on that day. Not because I worry about the quality of course, but exactly because I know that he'll always give the best for his dears, even though he was not in a good state... he is too good and I can't stand it 😭) . But among the few things that I did check out, there is an incredible piece of chanting added at the beginning of Late Autumn (also translated to Autumn Strong by many) at this concert, that was sooo beautiful and soul-washing.

He came to the UK in 2018 for a charity concert in London - fans from 48 different countries flew in and we all got together for a evening trip on the Thames the night before where his Dimash’s Mum, sister and Godmother came along!! His Mum, Sveta, sang acapello for us and gifted everyone tea! We also raised over a £1000 for charity! Great time was had by all and Dimash, of course, gave 110% in spite having a temperature of 40 degrees! Plymouth UK 🇬🇧

Confessa is in Italian!!! He just appeared in Dubai in the first show of her masterful tour which was attended by "dears" from 67 countries around the world. Soon he will be in Germany.

This show is I Am Singer from China that Dimash was invited to take part in & he was the youngest & the only non Chinese contestant. The "Diva Dance" from the Bastau concert is the better one. In this performance he replaced the impossible part with that series of staccato notes. In the Bastau performance he put in a tricky descending run instead. In the movie they sampled the singer's voice, and played that part back on a sequencer, with no natural onsets or decays to the notes, which makes it sound alien. You can find the original on Y.T., and then change the playback speed to a half or quarter speed to compare. In "Confessa", the dancer represents the cheating wife in the song. The "Diva Dance" by itself would have been too short for the competition.

Dimash had a full live concert in London, November 2018 at the O2. Reactors and fans met at preconcert parties and events. Dimash was 3 years old when Fifth Element came out in1997. A fantastic time was had by all.
@2:04, Hey y'all... How are you feeling Carla? In this one it was just a tiny bit of the Diva Dance from the 5th Element after the song Confessa. IF you're like I am, you'll want to go watch him perform the Diva Dance at the ending of his full Bastau concert!! Idk if y'all know, but that song was 'made' almost completely with computer's to be "The Alien Song" so to speak but the producers etc of the movie planned it to be a song that was 'impossible' for anyone to sing!! Although they did use small bits from a woman soprano opera singer so it still sounds like a voice, and many people especially opera singers(women from what I've seen) have tried to sing it, but not only do they usually take it down an octave, but they can't ever do the low-lows and the highest-highs so yes, Dimash is known as #1 when it comes to doing the song in it's entirety... which of course is still not that long of a song, but the way he does it is absolutely breath-stealing! Lol... Yes I meant stealing because it's like you don't realize it but you can't breathe or move until he's done with it!! I'll go get y'all the link to the whole song from my playlist for him and the video of it, and you can tell he's at the end of a full concert because he is all sweating and everything which is even more incredible I think than to just do that song, but he is ALWAYS surprising us, so he did it for the finale 😳😁 And he STILL nails it!! "Confessa", Italian, a man learns his woman doesn't love him any more. "Diva Dance" made for the movie, a very good female singer recorded it and played the alien, but it was computer enhanced to make it unique and not made for the human voice... Yes Dimash was born with the talent of 10 people, but from the age of 5 and for the next twenty years he took voice lessons every day. He went to music schools, music High School, College and earned 2 Masters Degrees, one in voice and one in composition, and this year his PhD in musicology. There is a backstage video of Dimash performing the whole of the aria at university, it's incredible. We're pleading with him on every Instagram post he makes to come back to the UK. It was a very small concert before as he wasn't well known, the trouble is that every other country is doing the same thing!
It was amazing. Almost an unreal experience. I had to pinch myself to believe that I was actually there. I have been at three of his concerts, but my wish is to experience a small stage concert with Dimash again. Although his other concerts are spectacular, I only sees Dimash anyway

For the 5th Element movie they used a female opera singers voice which they computerised as at that time Dimash was not known. Also there was no human that could perform all the vocal variations required for the film.
Bastau 2018 concert version is the best performance. His voice was healthier, and changed it up. There is also a version performed in China as a duet for the Belt and Road initiative, where he let's out a G7 whistle note.

He performed in London in November 2018. On the occasion of Kazakhstan days or something like that. Many fans came especially to London, even from America, and Dimash gave a regular concert.
The audience wasn't as large as they are today, but they were delighted. As far as I know this concert was supposed to be elsewhere in the UK, but they moved to London because of so many volunteers.
I was at the concert he gave in London in November 2018, at Indigo at the O2 - it was the best I’ve ever attended in my life!
P.S. Originally, it was hoped to stage the concert at the Royal Festival Hall in London, but the venue was changed ..
He certainly has been to the UK. In fact the UK performance is memorable for the fact that he broke down during his performance of SOS because he was supposed to be performing it with his best friend Olympic skater Dennis Ten but Dennis was murdered in Kazakhstan a few months before. There is footage of Dennis playing behind him and Dimash stops frequently during the song and then rushes off stage to pull himself together.
The funny clip where Dimash lies down on stage to shake a fans hand is also from the London concert.

Hey, you two (actually three). I am happy to hear that the pregnancy is going well. This was, as always, a great reaction. I will give you my "two cents," although I might be echoing the remarks of some other comments here. As you already know, Diva Dance is originally a song from the classic 1997 sci-fi thriller “The Fifth Element” starring Bruce Willis and Milla Jovovich. For the scene the song’s composer, Eric Serra designed the piece with the intent that it would be impossible for a human to perform the high-pitch staccato sections. He had Inva Mula-Tchako, an Albanian opera lyric soprano, sing the notes individually so that they could then be arranged digitally and recorded. In the movie, this song is “performed” by an alien, Diva Plavalaguna, played by Maïwenn Le Besco.

Chinese opera singer Zhang Jane sang her own rendition of the song, complete with a full orchestra, hitting every note almost perfectly without the help of a computer or digital aids. She even managed to sing some of the low notes. Dimash is the only male vocalist I know of who has performed the song exceptionally well, and in my humble opinion gave a superior performance.

Ya saben, Dimash en cada presentación, canta de distinta manera, pero cada una más alucinante que la otra.

lol Dimash was 3 years old when that movie with Bruce Willis came out. It was a woman that played that part "Inva Mula (born 27 June 1963) is an Albanian opera lyric soprano. She began her soprano career at a very early age. Her father (Avni Mula) and mother (Nina Mula) were also opera singers. She is also known for providing the voice of the diva Plavalaguna in the film The Fifth Element." Just like Dimash both parents are award winning vocalists in their country. Watch the short version of the Diva dance on stage a little better than this version :)
The shorter one was the better one. you have to watch it as well. more-so Dimash had a concert in London, November 2018
