I went for the New Year’s celebration to Las Vegas on the way there. I found some abandoned buildings which I tried to explore. I saw many different roadside attractions. I really like the Peggy Sue 50s diner. I met up with some friends before I went to the Las Vegas strip to celebrate New Year’s. - Розваги

That rundown Motel seemed like one in GTA: San Andreas. It's located in a fictional version of a country town called Fort Carson, & you were probably in the real-life version of it. It looked & felt familiar with the little check-in building on the front-left of the place. It was like 'Oh! It might be that Motel area in GTA: San Andreas in Fort Carson!' Oh & to note: the game takes place in 1992 & the fictional version of that Motel was in full service that time. No graffiti at all.
I would assume it is. Because it's 100% in GTA 5. Another avenue for G to talk about hey
Didn’t know the Bonnie & Clyde car was there! Wow! Really cool. All those bullet holes! If you watch the movie, “Highwaymen” with Kevin Costner it’s one of the best movies about Bonnie & Clyde. They show exactly what happened when they died. The filmmakers followed exactly what happened. Great movie!

I find it so interesting that Mr German finds this interesting! I grew up in Cali and all this footage is very depressing. It looks like a country on the brink of complete destruction and impending doom. As a kid these areas were booming with business, very clean and there was so much excellent produce for sale all over the area.

Oh gosh GIV, I stayed there at that Howard Johnson in Sept., but I only paid like $40. Wore my flip flops the whole time in the room. Also had to change rooms three times!!! LOL
Downtown LA skyline has changed so much i almost don't recognize it. I loved the 1990 skyline with First Interstate always visible from any direction.

I’ve driven by all the Peggy Sue signs along the 15 probably 100 times. I’ve never stopped and checked it out, but have sure thought about it. It is good to finally see what the interior looks like.

Mike, were not letting you leave LA and become German in Vegas, no way , relax. Vegas can suck you in like that and next thing you know your stuck in the desert; hot; only casino's; it's all smoke and mirrors. That said, we love you GIV, your home will always be LA

I seen the B&C car years ago, when it was just in the lobby and you could stand right beside it and look inside
This brings back memories because when I lived in Vegas and would visit LA I would do this drive a lot. If you want a really secluded experience with long desert roads there is a connection from Cali right outside of Pahrump into the death valley area.

I like looking at these old run down - abandoned buildings & think of all the people that has been there the memories of the people that has been there the history of those places - what are some of the memories these places have that we will never know of because they have all since vanished along with the abandonment of these places .

Of course the Christmas Lights are still on, its VEGAS BABY!!!! We go deep into January here, not like you cali's, we go at least till Orthdox Chritmas Jan 7th which runs 10 days..... But of course some of us go till Feb or until the hoa complains :-)
