Half expected Boone to give the line "what in the gawdamn?!". Really creative Killing the courier and putting him in the grave that was always meant for him. Now he really is a ghost
I hate the premise, but the Courier's line and character is really cool in all senses. "Fate." "I hold the answers to the things that keep you awake." Really good lines!
Woooooo! Loving this series! Once it's done you should get someone to make it into a playable mod for new vegas But obviously, the series is great on its own
It's pretty much -exactly- what it was created for, but the voice actors are in total revolt because mid-quality AI VO at multimillion line scale is better than high-quality VO but only a few hundred k lines.
Subsribed and I haven't even finished this episode. This is perfect, now Im curious to see what will happen. Only bad thing I can say about this was that I wish this was a mod that I could explore myself.
@@sekira4516 I mean technically speaking yes and no yes cause from the way this is looking the courier is going to be repeating some events but no because it would be a different ending to the base game due to the Anomaly
I find it funny that after all the arguing about letting go of revenge for the sake of redemption with Graham, we have a clear cut case of crime and punishment right here. I think the sort of character that Graham really needs to bounce off of is a law and order type guy, but: not a soft one. I mean, maybe you can argue a one time murderer should get life in prison, sure, but once you go 2+ kills, it's probably the gallows for you, just out of fairness, right? In most any legal system. The victims cry out for justice. And then there's still place for someone like Graham at the side of the condemned. Ever looked into the lore behind that final meal that death row convicts get? Accepting the meal is supposed to mean that the condemned has made peace with his judgement and accepts it, too. A priest, Graham, would be there before to help them see that God will still forgive them, even if they now face the final judgement of mortals.
In the bunker cold, where fate does hum, An Oracle rises, the past becomes numb. A lineage old, a role passed down, To wear the Oracle's heavy crown. "What are you?" he asks with fear, But the answers given aren't so clear. "Reset the timeline, kill the past, For only one of you can last." A paradox of life and death, To end the self, to steal the breath. How can one kill what makes him whole? To erase his path, to lose control? The Courier stands, his mind a maze, Sent back to where the story lays. Goodsprings calls, the past reborn, But fate is cruel, the Oracle torn. He must kill himself, his former self, To rewrite the lines upon the shelf. The weight of choice, it presses hard, A duty bound, a fate so scarred. For every Oracle has paid the toll, To break the loop, to lose the soul. But even here, in moments dire, A flicker of hope, a fleeting fire. Boone appears, his story bleak, A chance for vengeance, the truth they seek. The name revealed, the pain laid bare, For some, this burden’s hard to bear. And yet the Oracle walks the line, Between free will and fate’s design. As fans reflect, they too must ask, Is there freedom behind the mask? Can one escape what’s bound to be, Or is life chained to destiny? For in this tale of paradox, We find ourselves lost in its locks. So here the Oracle must decide, To kill the past, or be denied. A story deeper than it seems, Where life and fate intertwine in dreams. A courier, a man, a choice to make, In this endless loop, what will he take?
And so the Oracle walks the line, Between fate's hand and choice divine. A game, they say, but deeper still, A world where time and souls can spill. For every choice, each step we tread, There lies a story left unsaid. Is it truly freedom, or a lie, When all must bend to fate’s cruel sky? In resetting time, the Oracle sees, How destiny plays with fragile keys. We make decisions, bold and bright, But who controls the guiding light? The paradox, it echoes loud- Can one escape what’s been endowed? For in the choice to kill the past, Does one destroy what’s built to last? If the self is but a moment’s breath, Then who survives beyond that death? This series, more than just a tale, Unfolds a truth where choices fail. It speaks to players, fans alike, Of how we live, the paths we strike. Not every game need break the mind, But some invite us, if inclined. To question fate, to see beyond, What lies within this endless bond? For every Oracle stands alone, Yet walks a path already known. A reflection on our fleeting lives, How memory fails, yet still survives. The spectator must stop and ask, What lies behind the given mask? Is it control or just the game, Or do our choices end the same? The Courier’s life, a mirrored glass, Where every future meets the past. And so, we play, but are we free, Or bound by time’s eternity? The game itself, a canvas wide, Where thought and fate cannot divide. For every action, every quest, Is but a search for deeper rest. So here we are, as fans who see, The deeper threads of mystery. In Vegas bright, or wasteland torn, We live, we die, we’re always reborn. Not just a game, but something more, A question that forever soars. In every twist, in every turn, The Oracle’s lessons still we learn. For life, like this, is never clean, A dance between what’s felt and seen. Can we defy the written thread, Or are we bound to what’s ahead? Each player watching must reflect, On how their own life might connect. To choices made in dark or light, And how they sleep through endless night. Is freedom found in will, or fear? Do we control, or disappear? The series teaches through its plot, That time and fate are bound in thought. For every death, each path we cross, We carry with us all the loss. A lesson writ in paradox, In dusty streets, or broken rocks. And fans who watch, they come to find, A deeper truth that haunts the mind. For every choice we think we make, Is mirrored by the risks we take. And maybe, just like in the game, We’re part of fate’s relentless flame. But still we try, and still we fight, To claim our freedom in the night. For even when the lines are blurred, A whispered hope can still be heard. In life, in death, in all between, We chase the truth we've never seen. So play the game, but question more, What lies ahead, what’s come before. For in this tale of fate and choice, The Courier gives us all a voice.
its interesting how this paradox works. One courier has to fail his task, then inform the other that they have to take up the mantle, yet every courier has to kill the original courier of a paralel universe. For there to be a courier that failed and a new courier to be informed, there has to be a timeline in which a courier didnt die and becomes the new courier to take the mantle. So how I see this is that every second courier gets shot and replaced, meaning theres a 50% chance youre either the new courier that wasnt killed and youre going to fail to save the world or youre going to get killed so that another universes you can replace you and fail, then asign his task to another survivor. Also this guy made sigma brainrot parodies of Mr. House and Caesar, which is hilarious.
Let me clear it up a little 1. Courier 0 fails 2. The responsibility is shifted to Courier 1, who exists in a parallel universe to Courier 0 3. Courier 1 must kill the past version of themselves, let’s call them Courier 1A, within their own universe. 4. Courier 1 attempts to defeat the Anomaly 5. Courier 1 fails 6. The responsibility is shifted to Courier 2, who exists in a parallel universe to Couriers 0 & 1. 7. Courier 2 must kill the past version of themselves, let’s call them Courier 2A, within their own universe. etc, etc. The only thing that has traveled between universes is the bunker itself. It’s programmed to jump to the next universe, should the Courier of any given universe fail. No previous Courier has succeeded
Hope Im wrong but I bet the AI is the anomaly and the original Courier trapped it with a false prophecy/mission to defeat a made up enemy to keep it in a time loop of sorts. Sacrificing himself for the Mojave, idk...
