    Great lesson! Can you offer any recommendations for n5 Kanji books on Kindle? I travel for work and it is so much more convenient to have all of my learning materials in Kindle format rather than packing books up and taking them with me. Thank you.

      This is a decent book. I have the paperback version of it. amzn.to/3yExQCG
      In my Kanji book review, you can see how the book is structured. I listed it as Book #1. Hope it helps! smilenihongo.com/learn-kanji-honest-review-of-the-books

    And it does NOT require noun.
    You just say the verb without a noun ( I, we, etc. )
    I love Japanese language, simple and elegant.

      Thank you for your interest in my courses. This lesson is not part of a course. I currently have Kanji Startup Course only which is more basic than this lesson but teaches you how to write each Kanji letter. smilenihongo.com/startkanji
      If you find this type of lesson helpful, I will create a course in the future. Meanwhile, I will upload at least one more N5 Verb Kanji lesson in a few weeks.

      Agree that a course would be helpful here. Is there a video that explains verb conjugation generally? I am just starting out and don’t understand the forms yet.

      Most of the conjugation lessons are in my courses. I think this is the only conjugation lesson I have on UA-cam. ua-cam.com/video/tvrmaKlz58Q/v-deo.html
      If you are a beginner, please first lean Masu form conjugation which we use for formal (polite) speech. I believe there are videos by other sensei on UA-cam.

    Hi ゆこせんせい、in this sentence "明日はしごとを休むつもりです”, I was told by a Japanese teacher that we need not use the particle ´は’ after あした。Is that so? Thank you.

    • @YukoSensei
      @YukoSensei  2 роки тому +1

      Both are possible but the nuance changes a little. Without は, it sounds more neutral and no emphasis on any parts of the sentence. With は added to 明日, on the other hand, you are treating 明日 as the topic (highlight) of the sentence. Therefore, it sounds more like "Regarding tomorrow, I'll skip work (but not sure yet about the day after tomorrow, or other days)." If I'm already talking with a friend regarding what we will do tomorrow, 明日 is the topic of the conversation so I would naturally say 明日は. In this case, not adding は to 明日 doesn't sound natural. I hope this makes sense!
