I thought that I could use my S2 cards without them being a wild card. On my Xbox I can only use 1 S2 card, and the rest have to be core cards.
You need to make a new Squad because your squad you were trying to set is a season 1 Squad so that is why it is requiring you to wildcard your season 2 cards. You always have to make a brand new Squad at the beginning of a season.

I am grateful for the amount of content that MLB the Show puts out but this has to be the grindiest (if that's even a word) game out there. I missed out on a lot towards the end of season 1 and barely got through 50% of the xp path before needing to step away. I don't play online so I start to lose the point of grinding for cards. The good thing is that all the programs and such are still there to go back to at some point.
SDS's motto for years has been grind 99. Always better to be able to grind for everything than it is to pay for everything. If you don't play online then it's really just about collecting the cards that you want to use and having fun.
Could you please do a video on conquest? I do not understand the concept. Also can you only use your wildcard in online games? Cant seem to use it on mini season games which is what I like to play

I've probably got a video for just about every kind of topic over the last 6 years so you may just have to search on the channel. As far as using your wild card in mini seasons, you may be able to use it in certain seasons, but others have lineup restrictions so in the team Affinity mini season you will not be able to use any cards outside of season 2.

do you have to use wild cards for the s2 cornerstone captains? i am trying to use them in ranked and it takes me to a screen that explains wild cards.
No, but you have to build a brand new squad for season 2. You are trying to build a squad that is assigned to season 1 so it is requiring you to Wild card your season 2 cards. Have to build an entire new Squad when new seasons start.
How does one already have 99 griffy card on his squad? Its a boss aint it?
Nobody already has the 99 Griffey. The only place you will see it is in BR because it is available for drafting

@jaybluekim3749 maybe your meeting it was in mini season because those and any other CPU squads that you were playing can have any cards.
They definitely have him, and chipper jones as well, more than 50 players have them already

I loaded on and it said no more xp from gameplay til 12am this sucks.
Likely because you had earned XP during double XP until it ended today at 12:00 noon Pacific. That happens a lot to people on the last of double XP days.

@MasterMind-hu2iy I'm sure you'll be able to get there. We still have Chapter 3 of season 2 and I'm sure at least a couple more double XP weekends.

You have to be on a next-gen console and you need to make sure that you have the next gen console version of the game downloaded. It's actually quite common for people to accidentally download the previous gen version of the game.
Hey, does any body have any problems with gaining cap in gameplay? I have been playing tons of cpu and have not gained any xp. Has this happened to anybody else and if so can you tell me how to fix it?
If you're not getting XP from gameplay you have either hit the daily cap of 15k XP or you need to uninstall and reinstall your game.
If I uninstall and then reinstall will all my data be saved?
@gjssports3267 yes, all of that is tied to your online ID. None of that is saved to your console
@@Bigtomk22so all I have to do is uninstall and then reinstall the game and it should be back to gaining xp without losing data that I have currently on the game
@gjssports3267 that has fixed this exact problem hundreds of times over the last several years. SDS will tell you the same thing.

Yes, none of the cards have left the game and you can still earn them. We have other videos that cover what happens at the changeover of season 2

is it just me or is it dumb that in the new season awards program you have to buy cards to do some of the missions. (such as 10 ks with season awards series)
i get that you can complete it without those missions but it still feels like they shouldn’t be there
That's the same way it was at the start of season 1. I don't see it as dumb but everyone is entitled to their own opinion

The best card is different for every single person because every swing is different for every person. No one can tell you that you just have to try them out yourself

Lol sds jipped us no more 90 plus live series in the spin the wheel now we get a bummy 50 pack bundle 90 plus live series is worth alot more then a weak 50 pack bundle i hate sds wheels spins are pointless to me know
That's actually not true at all. The 90 plus cards will be worth next to nothing by the time people get to the wheel spins in season 2 so they're actually giving you more of a value out of a 50-pack bundle. You'll make way more stub selling the cards that you pull even if you don't pull a diamond then you would if you got a 90 Plus at that point. Got to stop trying to look at everything negatively. A wheel spin with any reward in it is better than what we used to get which was nothing.

Nope, I can assure you it's working fine. If you're not gaining XP for some reason then you need to uninstall and reinstall your game.
I'm getting XP just not as much as it should be for db xp
@romangomez1562 that would be impossible. XP in this year's game is lower than it has been in the past years but I assure you you are getting double XP for this year's game. It will be about half of what double XP would have been in 23 still.
And its also looking like team affinty is more of a grind then ever for trash cards what a terrible update today more incog cards all they do is reuse asscets its sad and im sure its easy to make new card art
It's actually not easy to make new artwork. And team Affinity is actually the easiest it's ever been to complete with the quickest grind of the year. Sounds like you might have woke up on the wrong side of the bed today. Nothing but negativity. It's a video game man, just try to enjoy yourself. Stop taking it so damn seriously. Lol

You have to complete the moments to earn the cards and then do the missions. It's just simple math
