Yes you can easily get Babe Ruth for free. This is my first ever mlb the Show game and first time playing DD and so far Ive made about 3-4m stubs just flipping unlockables. Im at 2m stubs now and did Babe about 3 months ago. He is awesome to use. I think DD is super NMS friendly. The big thing is that there's not much risk if any cause I buy the unlockables for quicksell value or close to it. The main problem is finding players to spend stubs on since SDS gives away so many great cards just by playing The game and doing the promos. I do wish there was a little more difficulty in building a god squad but I can't really hate SDS for playing it safe. I would never buy packs for 30 or 40k when you can just buy the player for the price of 2-4 packs. I haven't even gotten into investing in cards and probably won't cause flipping unlockables you get your stubs now and no risk.

short version: buy a card with a buy order and then sell it with a sell order. There should be a positive difference when you do that, therefore, profit

Maybe I don’t understand diamond dynasty, but what’s the point of this? Spending hundreds of thousands of stubs on cards that are diamonds just to get rid of them for one player? I’ve never played DD so I genuinely have no clue can someone help me understand ?

You actually don’t get rid of them, you collect them all! You basically build up a bunch of worse cards to get one of the best couple cards of the game!
