This rotary has may one of a kind and or unique features that include:
*First ever Laser 4 Jaw chuck that gives you more pressure with less force by disbursing the pressure evenly and symetrically. Ideal for more delicate and heavier items.
*Push button shaft lock allowing you easy one hadned oppertaions
*Keyed motor mount to ensure a proper no slip fitment on the motor shaft with pinch bolt. No more worrying about grub screw backing out causing slop in the shaft like other chuck rotaries.
*The most adjustable jaws on the market that allow for seamless transition between smaller and larger cups without having to move or change any parts like other rotaries. These jaws have a total of 1.75in adjustability from fully closed to fully open.
*Extension Bars that let you quickly extend your jaw size for doing things like dog bowls and more.
*Previsions made to mount the holding fixture on either side of the rotary depending on how you mount it.
*Adaptable to the Rotoboss, Junior, Ascend and Galvo rotaries.
*Head can be positioned in a vertical position to mount a turntable to so you can be use it to do repeat objects in a rotating jig.

With the knife blade drop down on the Ascend, can you raise the chuck all the way up on the Nova 24? For the larger glass beer mugs with handles.

I got the galvo version and it will not hold a tumbler even with a double wheel at the other end locked in and square. I tightened and it still wobbles. 40 oz tumbler. Tried all feet.

With tapered pint glasses would you position the grips on the outside of the rims and adjust the pivot to level the glass?

Not you should be able to grip from the inside. It will hole a small 2oz shot glass with heavy tapper

So, if i understand this correctly. It does not come with the stepper motor. Is that correct? So we just need ti remove the original chuck and measure it? The website is quite confusing on what it actually comes with and what option is correct.
