- At last, it all comes down to this. What, at first glance, comes off as a fun romp into a Halloween inFAMOUS spin-off is actually a mess of narrative conveniences and MacGuffin goose chases.

Willing to bet somebody wrote a fan fiction about Cole being a vampire, one of the people at Sucker Punch saw it and thought 'hey! This would make a great spin off game!' I'm almost willing to bet money that's how this game got created.
The funny thing is this could have been a actually interesting premise, look at how good Dawnguard for Skyrim was.

17:34 Bloody Mary's minions were stationed RIGHT NEXT TO COLE while she was talking to him telepathically. Why on Earth didn't they do anything while he was vulnerable?
18:02 I was actually starting to think that Cole fared better against the Cross because he was a conduit as well as a vampire, so he has higher resistance.
My theory is that this story that takes place at least 1 year after the events of Infamous 2's good ending in a world where Cole somehow survives using the RFI.
Which is kinda funny, considering the music that plays at the beginning implies that this is Zeke reminiscing on a one of the goofy adventures he had with Cole when he was still alive.
Zeke is having a dream after a long night of depressed drinking, taking Cole out to sea, and Cat represents the death that he would’ve gladly taken for his friend in hindsight, if he hadn’t been as selfless as he was.
My big metaphor for the The Bloody Mary story is a work in progress.

It would be interesting if the vampire was a type of Conduit. Of course, this is just a regular vampire given their aversion to holy items.
But imagine this: the vampires were a type of Blood Conduit. This would make Bloody Mary an organic/mutated Conduit much like Sasha and Bertrand respectively. Bloody Mary’s powers could have been comparable to Sasha (when controlling others), but she requires blood as a source of power much like regular Conduits. She could make forced Conduits by biting others (much like Betrand’s mutated kin, Ice Mercenaries, the Reapers, Dustmen, etc). Transforming into a bat could be a power comparable to Betrand’s Behemoth form. If they made a more scientific reason why silver/wood or a stake to the heart could kill a vampire, then the Festival of Blood would be much cooler as Sucker Punch could have made its own version of myths and explanations.
Wait, I just realized, this isn't a sucker punch game, it doesn't have someone being an idiot over a loudspeaker! (That sounds ridiculous, but think about it, Jojo screams at Rocket, each of the sly villains yell at Sly, The Voice of Survival, Bertrand, and Augustine, every sucker punch game except this one has an idiot over a loudspeaker)

Zivalene I just feel like it should only count if other people can hear the idiot over the loudspeaker other than the player. Even Jojo was probably broadcasting to Tinker (I think that's his name, it's been a while) and the people at the grand opening party for the theme park
But theoretically, other people could hear Sasha/Mary because they could also speak to their subordinates. There's nothing saying they can't "broadcast" their telepathy or didn't. And, to be fair, everywhere you were in the Sly games there were only the enemy faction for the bad guy to otherwise broadcast to (except for the safehouse, where Bentley would have a bug or speaker set up to listen in). I never played SP's first IP, so I can't speak for that.
The AMP being dropped in a pool deserved at least 100 sins off

Zivalene great minds really do think alike. I just wish you fitted Vampire Killer as a nod to Castlevania when describing the Barbed Cross, it's also thematically appropriate since it "kills vampires". Missed opportunity. ;~;
An opportunity that I did not understand because I've never played Castlevania, which is why I make Twilight and FFVII jokes in it's place.

I'm confused on how they made a 3rd game from this with both Cole and Zeke. At the end of Infamous 2, either Cole was dead or Zeke was dead depending on what ending you chose. How can they both still be alive? This game is still in New Marias where the last game took place.
The events in this story supposedly happen before the end of infamous 2!

Ennit me and my friend love this series but loved the fact that in reality if you had smoke powers and went through the vents or teleported you would be completely naked
One sin I think you missed; is Zeke telling this girl all the parts where he says something ridiculously creepy to Cole? If it's a narration then I mean it has to be... so that also means if you just spend most of the DLC beating the bag out of barely clothed women he's saying that to her too. "And then cole stabbed the Spring Breaker again... and again..."

Have you ever thought that this dlc happens after the good karma ending? Like, in this line, kuo and Nix are dead so are the beast, so, Zeke is the only one who can get cole’s amp from the pool. Also it would explain why nix and kuo or any swamp monster are missing from the game
I figured it took place during the game while Zeke was in the bar. The actual playable part of the game is just imaginary bullshit Zeke made up.

I think this is a pretty cool game. And for those like myself coming into the Infamous series of games. It's pretty easy to pick up and learn for beginners yet challenging in some spots.

You know what I think? I think it takes place after infamous 2's good ending and this is Cole after he got resurrected by the lightning and he and Zeke have been hiding out in New Marias, which is why Zeke talks about having been to a previous pire night

Okay... this is going to be weird for me but, i know i have been too aggressive on the inFamous 2 video but... i actually thought that this video was good, because the sins on this actually made sense for me, plus i myself had no idea what the fuck was going on in Festival of Blood, so good job, you've convinced me, plus the sins were really got damn good aswell.
Takes love and dedication for a series to truly nitpick it.
I know I'm a year late to this party, and I'm not going to read nearly two hundred comments to see if anyone else got around to mentioning it, but according to the bartender who either invented the drink, or was responsible for bringing the cocktail recipe back from Europe and popularizing it, the Bloody Mary cocktail was named after a waitress who worked at the Chicago bar New Delaware, more commonly known by the infamous nickname "Bucket of Blood."
While there's no hard documentation on that except for the word of the bartender in question, given that he's credited with introducing the drink and giving it its name, there's really no reason to disbelieve his account... so there you go. It's named after a waitress who worked at a really seedy dive.

Thing is that in this game the "Evil" lighting looks even more Reddish compared to inFAMOUS2 orange lighting...

I would like to say that Cole’s karmic scale does not count as a sin because this is not prior to the real storyline as being a DLC to the infamous 2 having nothing changed and happening in between infamous 2 as a separate story with no karmic shift since if you stand still before you heal people you have the karmic stance of HERO and after you become a vampire you have the stance of INFAMOUS but his shirt doesn’t change rather than the blood shadowing half his shirt I don’t see a claim to support why you think he is considered evil enough to have red lightning but I understand where you are coming from and was a fairly valid point on why he has red lightning
And also Scanning the echoes with his pulse it will only scan physical and electronic energy but paranormal activity is very different to his usual radar scan
This woman doesn't get this is a story that zeke is creating including this situation

Sounds boring, uninteresting and highly subjective from person to person. That's why we do it to entertainment properties, because more people know what they are and they are creative works.

Things that would be worse for Cole to wear than a sailor outfit: That burlesque outfit rendered by Radical for a contest on Zero Punctuation as a tie breaker for which game (Prototype or Infamous) is better. Sucker Punch won for their render of Alex Mercer.
There is no issue tho, kou has ice powers, and even though she has some control, she doesn’t have full control.

He's not a full vampire yet, so as time goes on he becomes more and more part vampire, which I assume is also why he couldn't see those stories mary left up until that one point in game. If he hadn't have cured his vampirism I feel he would have just gained all vampire powers after he was fully transformed.

21:32 remember Cole used the RFI that killed both nix and kuo and that lightning was probably the only thing that brung him back to life which is why he probably didn’t ask either kuo or nix because they’re already dead

second that's a fan theory and most likely false, the lightning bolt is meant to to symbolise the question of "what comes next?" which is why it's a question-mark shape. Also this takes place before the end of 2, not after.

KanitoKawaii, Festival of Blood is non-canon. It’s basically an alternate timeline where Cole survived the RFI and defeated The Beast but Nix and Kuo died.
It's a story Zeke tells during inFAMOUS 2. Cole just drops in briefly.
