2. You can't choose to be a therian- either you are or you aren't.

I discovered around 4 months ago that I was a gray wolf therian (arctic wolves are gray wolves so arctic wolf documentaries basically are gray wolf documentaries I did my research) and doing Quadrobics sorta help me calm down and feel comfortable

My therotype is a bear because I have a personality of one and I like to bear crawl a lot. And it is spiritual connection with bears that I have.

For you guys who don’t know, you can’t choose therianthropy. It chooses you. Being a therian means that you identify as an animal on all levels except physical. Theria; identify as an animal because they *believe* were an animal in the past. I am a therian myself and I know this from my friends on Reddit! Check out r/Therian for more information.
Therian is you have the soul of an animal or were one in a past life (my simplified version)
being on all 4s doesn’t make me feel much closer to my theriotypes but i might give stuff like this a try if only to work out my arms

My whole life.... I've just... wanted to be a unicorn. I've felt this close bond to horses and I would put party hats on horses and pretend they were unicorns. I know unicorns are real.... because I am one... I've been galloping since I was a newborn.. . Recently I've been practicing my jumping... anyone have any tips? I freaking love unicorns... they're so amazing.. . I'm soooooo glad I'm a unicorn. Thanks.

Being a therian is in simple words your mind registers you are an animal, not just a human. It might be caused because of past lives but that’s just my thought!
Liking nature and doing quads or doing anything an animal does doesn’t mean you’re therian!

I think I'm a therian but I don't know the first time i meditated I was in the perspective of a cat walking on the edge of a stream I've always felt connected to nature and cats and I'm very energetic I'm not sure I'm a therian tho
you probably are one but still do a research to make sure bc all therians expirience it different i recommend watching a great channel called "Therian Territory" it has a lot of information about therianthropy

There are multiple types of therians actually! Spiritual therians are those who feel like they were born in the wrong body! There are the "classic" therians (i dont remember the name) that believed they had a past life as an animal. Also, dont worry, most of the therians I know dont get shifts at all! Shifts dont make you a therian :3

I found that kicking outward with your legs helps with balance, especially over larger objects!
Start with small jumps and do drunk cat jumps and imagine your feet aren’t there,that’s how I learned!

Yes that definitely sounds like you may be a therian! I’d recommend doing some research and trying to do more catlike things and see if you feel comfortable!

I have a question, when I was 5 I always had this weird feeling that I was a wolf. Now I don’t wanna say I’m a Therian until I get confirmation. But I’ve been getting dreams ever since and I’m 13 now! Of course I stopped after 8 doing quads because I was looked at weird.. So I’m worried have I lost myself or was I just a little kid who didn’t know better? Even though I have dreams I don’t wanna self identify.. I think you are a therian! Do you experience shifts, like animal-like thoughts or do you act like an animal? Or you may be a therian spiritually! I recommend asking experts as I'm only newly awakened
