Meg’s gonna say: “Hey, you think you can make a dining room table with those trees?”
Now your talking👍
I was thinking a coffee table.
How about some book shelves ?
That is awesome now you need a new master bedroom suite
Benches for the boys to go with new dining room table😁🤩
I love it when Meg gives Ben that "You're my Hero!" look.
Who needs video games when you have a wagon and a giant pile of leaves. Great job on the shelves 😊
Made me smile
Darling boys!!
Family is so important, and they'll remember this for the rest of your lives! You'll smile in joy everytime you remember! God bless you all!
I had a Radio Flyer when I was a young girl.
Bless your talented hard working heart. Those shelves are gorgeous. It would cost a fortune to buy hand hewn shelving. Awesome job!!

The shelves look awesome. Loved watching the boys play in the leaves. Little missy is getting big. So adorable.
We think the shelves look beautiful, too! Beautiful shelf, beautiful elf! She grows more beautiful each day you know, just like her momma! Nice job you two.
Hope you can make more videos. no need to edit. We will watch them eitherway
YES! Throw them out there, we all will watch, doesn’t even have to be as spectacular as building shelves. Loved seeing the boys be boys & watching dad work while sitting in the wagon. Music enjoyed too!
Totally agree
When you don't have a sawmill but your husband is a "can-do" kind of man... 👍😀💕
Dude! Ben those look incredible! Well done!

Mighty fine, mighty fine lookin' shelves you got there.
Now THAT is "boys being boys" that I can totally get behind! ❤️
Kids you should put up more videos. I have followed you from CA. You are awesome and you can really prosper from utube 💕
We’re trying to - this little one is making it hard to edit. 😉
@@TheHollarHomestead I am sure it is but I don’t want you to miss the window. You are such a beautiful family. You were the first UA-cam video I ever watched ❤️
@@TheHollarHomestead I watched a channel couple days ago. Oh my I wish I'd know about babies can need tongue or upper part near lip oh so slightly clipped as causes painful eating, nursing too. Also, in the cheek area. My youngest son sure did suffer but was told he had tummy gas but they get gassy from pain and crying. I love you all and care so much.
@@TheHollarHomestead Ben and Meg, I just looked up channel I listened to about this...its, the jurgys channel, nov 23rd video. Check it out.
@@lindahubbs8146 you are absolutely right. My grandson was having a really hard time. Doc realized that little piece of skin that goes tight when you stick your tongue in front if your upper teeth needed to be clipped, it came down too low. Once that was done, things went much smoother for everyone. Poor thing was always so hungry cuz he couldn't nurse correctly or suck a bottle right.
I love it when the boys do their own blog. It’s s joy to watching them live their best childhood
More additions to the house that Ben built. Nice job and the glee on Meg’s face was priceless!
There isn’t anything you can’t do Ben! Woodworking, plumbing ,welding , cooking. What else. I probably forgot something. You are awesome!!❤❤❤
This man can do it all. Mr Handy.
He is a bless man who love Jesus Christ and the rest follow in place
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" Phillipians
Ben you have enough board to make a beautiful dining table it would look awesome
Loved the shelves - loved the excitement - but most of all I loved the how the family works together!!
Ben is unbelievably talented with all he can do. I absolutely love the shelves. They are so expensive to buy but never can be replaced with Ben's talent and memory. Meg I am proud for you and Ben with your beautiful kitchen and home. Your land is beautiful also. Merry Christmas to the Hollar Family.
The second where the boys are in the wagon while Ben is working 🥰
Let's not pass on the very fine sawdust on Ben's eyelashes. Such a handsome fella.
"Biggest leaf pile, ever!"... "Giant leaf pile!" (Laughter)
I am beginning to think there is nothing Ben can’t do when he puts his mind to it. Amazing man.
Beautiful, I love Megs face “Happiness”
A father making a beautiful home for his family. Putting your heart into your family. Keep it up, you have discovered a hidden talent young man🙌👍
Way better than store bought shelves! Looks so good! Be proud cause we are! ♡
If shelves start cupping just flipping them over and in time they will be stright. They are beautiful by the way.
I will have to remember this one
Buying lumber... prices have tripled. Now is a great time for anyone with a home bandsaw lumber mill.
Oh, my. The shelves are gorgeous. I love watching all of you homesteaders. You are all full of innovation and creativity. The things that inspire men's souls (and women's).
Use what you have and make something special everyone wished they had. I long ago stopped being amazed at your skills and creativity Ben Hollar! Great job.
Natural rustic character of those shelves are far more charming than any store bought, professionally milled lumber any day!!!! Wonderful job!!!! ❤
They look amazing. I can't believe you did them just with a chainsaw
Always find a way 😊
I love the shelves. And the wrought iron supports. I am collecting wrought iron for my future home. Chandelier, dining table base. and with the open concept of kitchen livingroom & dining room I want the end tables and sofa table to be wrought iron bases too. all I need after getting the ones for the end tables this week is a sofa table base.
Fantastic job!
Maybe you have some left to make a family dining table.
Beautiful job Ben! We love your shelves! We did something similar but purchased rough sawn lumber. What a special memory! Such a beautiful family and you’re building a beautiful home! 💕
Lol now on to a Kitchen table. Those are beautiful by the way. And I know Meg has to love having her counter space opened back up.
It is SOOOO nice!! 😍
Meg said: I need shelves and Ben said: I will try. And amazing shelves appear! It's amazing what you too can do! The shelves are beautiful and they do the job you and Meg meant them to do!! Your boys are living a wonderful life. Not sitting inside and playing video games! Your boys are so lucky to have parents like you two. And you two are lucky to have such amazing boys!!
Next a big ole kitchen table 😀
When we moved into this house in the late 70’s ...I asked my husband to build me window boxes that went on top of the windows.....I wanted plants and wanted to hide the curtains rods...in the baby’s room was books and stuffed animals.....I still love them....saw them on Pinterest....I laughed...I was 40 years ahead of my time
Ben, as usual you did a phenomenal job....so beautiful.
Ben, you are genius!!!! They look amazing! Was glad to see you on Art and Bri's channel. Need to see more of you. Love you guys!❤🙏
How blessed are women who married handy men!!!
Wow! Really impressed with all the skills you've picked up! The shelves are beautiful! Save some of that lovely oak sawdust (5:42) to mix with wood glue for homemade wood filler.
We did no know you named your wagon Hank also. We looked at each other and just smiled. Jim needs to understand the string in the very beginning. These are the exact shelves we want to make for our kitchen that you helped build for us. Love you Guys.
Don't you love it when an experiment turns out perfectly! Love it! Merry Christmas everybody!🧡🎄😀
Beautiful and inventive workmanship! Wow! You are a genius Ben. Good to see you guys. Kids are awesome. Meg reaction was the best.

This made my heart smile. What a beautiful gift for yourselves. If you have enough wood leftover... what about a table, maybe with a dining room bench? Oh the possibilities. :D

Just WOW! You don't buy em' like that! Great job!
Meg you are one lucky lady, having a husband who is willing and able to do this kind of project for you. Those shelves are absolutely beautiful. Awesome job Ben. Your boys are very inventive, that stunt went off without a hitch, it was fun to watch and made me laugh out loud!
Shelves turned out great....those boys had a blast!!
Love the shelves and mama is looking so thin after having the baby. Go, mama!!! Bless you and family. You're all so beautiful.
When you stained it suddenly it went from "firewood" to "Oh, that's FURNITURE" all of the sudden. Seeing how much work goes into it just proves that stuff built right the first time will last for all time.
They are beautiful! And the possibilities are endless for future projects...tables, bookshelves....Ah, so exciting!
Beautiful shelves, you can make a fantastic dining table too :)
Hubby is a keeper! I love the shelves, the storage, the beauty, They r beautiful.
You can make a dinner table. can be amazing. Just an idea.
Only thing more beautiful then cleared well grained wood is a smiling mommy Meg.
Looks like Meg got an early Christmas gift with the shelves.
That's exactly what I was thinking.
Love the boys playing in the leaves. The shelves are wonderful! Time will give them more character
Yet another excellent video!
Greetings and love from Sweden!!
By the way, why watch the video if you are going to press the "thumbs down" button? 🙄
Wow! Those are some gorgeous shelves. Makes me wanna cry! What a lucky lady Meg!! Nice work Ben!!
Those shelves are so pretty. You should glue some boards together and make a kitchen table
Beautiful ! I see benches, shelves everywhere, bedrooms, etc, massive outdoor furniture, etc !
I love the shelves. You did an amazing job.
Love the shelves, you Beautiful People ♥️
Patricia
Very nice job on the shelves Ben! Talented machinists usually have the ability to successfully work with other substances besides steel and metals.
The shelves are just beautiful! as long as y'all like them that is what counts! Good job Ben
I'll be doing that to my silver maples. About 8 trees & neighbors might want me to take some of their maples as well. Good job
Ben, You are a craftsman! The shelves look great, and they will help Meg quite a lot in organizing the kitchen.
Howdy from west Texas! Love watchin’ y’all. So many interesting projects! Love those shelves. That would had glorious pattern in it. Good job!
The shelves are beautiful. Ben, you are such a good Carpenter.
The shelves are phenomenal.. love them... hopefully the wood dries out slower and more even inside with the extra humidity!! I dont know much about it, but we can only hope it does!!
Hi..... Meg and Ben nice to see you, thank you for sharing your video homestead chicken farmer garden 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋 👕🐔🐓🐥🐖🌱🎥👍👍👍
Those planks would be about £50-100 at my local b&q big box store. Excellent work well done
What beautiful shelves Ben. Absolutely love them. I think you can pretty much do anything. Great job.
I wondering if they will cure just as well there as they "wood" outside stacked in a pile. Love your family and the encouragement you give to experiment with new things. Awsome job.
Playing in the leaves brings back some fond memories. Free hand plank board cutting with a chainsaw was pretty amazing. The shelves have a beautiful wood grain especially after you stained them.
Gorgeous! Wonder if you could make a table with a few of those boards as well, that would look awesome!
SO Cool to see Meg so happy. Happy wife Happy life. Nice Job!! Sweet to see boys and baby! Thank You!!
That’s Awesome! I love it! You save a lot of money while it is so expensive to buy wood at the store during pandemic crisis.
My retired husband has his own saw mill, and he loves it. It’s a great hobbie for him and his family gets great things made from it.😀
You did a good job with the shelfs I would go back get more why not it was free and make a nice dinner table and chairs
Beautiful stuff. Thank you.
I need to borrow Ben for a minute lol
LOL.... that's punny =D
Oh the boys are little stuntmen, fun idea with the leaves.
Ben, you did a fantastic job with the wood shelves. It looks great in the kitchen.
