A Night of Unity: Ascending Together with Impilo Foundation

Held on Friday, July 28th, 2023, this event marked a significant collaboration between the Impilo Collection Foundation and the Thuma Foundation, showcasing a spectacular blend of fine dining, captivating dance, and profound storytelling.
Event Highlights:
Master of Ceremonies: The evening was brilliantly hosted by ProVerb, a renowned South African businessman, songwriter, rapper, and radio personality, who ensured a seamless and engaging experience for all.
Inspiring Speeches: Angela Yeung, the founder of the Impilo Collection Foundation, shared her heartfelt journey and commitment to combating Gender-Based Violence. Professor Thuli Madonsela delivered a keynote on ethical leadership and democracy, while Dr. Sasa took guests on an enchanting storytelling adventure.
Stunning Performances: The Drum Cafe thrilled attendees with their rhythmic brilliance, setting the stage for an unforgettable night.
Auction & Raffle: Items like Cathay Pacific Airways tickets, a Mont Blanc pen from Professor Madonsela, and exclusive artwork were auctioned by the charismatic Christopher Jaftha. The raffle revealed prizes from Sisley Paris and a GoPro Hero 11, adding excitement to the philanthropic mission.
A Celebration of Generosity: The event was a resounding success, drawing 209 distinguished guests and raising R175,000. The spirit of the evening was encapsulated in the line dancing session, where guests united under the disco beats of Chilli Funk, symbolizing the collective journey towards a brighter future.
