@@mridulrajnandi8377 but it is a "he" as it's a male playing the mother's role, I know you're probably thinking as I'm speaking of the mom I should be using "she" to describe the characteristics of the person, but since it's a male who has perfected the mannerisms of a mother and is playing the character I'm using the pronoun "he" instead of she bc I'm not describing the mother here but rather the person playing the role.
i LITERALLY opened the comment section at the EXACT same time she appeared around 16 mins in or smth like that idk xD and the first comment i see was this!!!!
And that's exactly why it's the only video which actually makes me work : I continue to study just in case, bc I know she may kung pao my chicken if she sees me procrastinating 😅
I know right! My dad used to be in the living room snoring while watching tv, and my mom would be In the craft room sewing while I do homework. Comfort. ✨✨😩 I miss it, I’m in college now.

I started humming sometime into this and just then he peeked in, making sure I did my stuff and I was amused at the timing. Then he left and I resumed humming and he instantly came back again 😂 very immersive experience! I also love how he brings snacks and drinks, so wholesome!
For me it's the menacing looks, funny but also reminding me hey I'm doing important work here!! Also the water and snacks, makes me notice I actually have to eat and drink water too 🤣

The fact that this guy performs as our mothers could be (mom passed away in 2020) for some of us comforting and sometimes it could make us shed tears. There are times we need the presence of our mothers (and what they used to do at home...) when we study or work remotely. So thank you, Mr. Pink Towel.
@@yolucid thank you for your kind words. This year will be 5 years without my dear mother, but I will try to keep up good. She would want me to follow and achieve my dreams. Btw, Happy New Year! Wishing you a prosperous year ahead!😊
I cannot believe this works. I am studying biophysics as a Master's student and for 5 years of high education all I need was a guy pretending as a mom for four hours
Everything in this video is so accurate! The faint sounds of historical drama playing. The way that you can hear a knife hitting the cutting board, the cooking utensils clinking, and the occasional tap water noise hints to you that the Asian mom is in the kitchen preparing food. The sound of an ancient Chinese instrument playing next door, which is what old people often love to put up and listen to(at least in the neighbourhood that I was in). Really reminds me of my childhood when I used to live with my grandma.
I dated a guy who was Chinese and spent a lot of time at his house, this is what it always sounded like there too, and even though I had my problems with him I always loved his mom and appreciate the memories I got to share with his family, as an only child of a single dad i end up wishing for a larger family experience a lot. It’s funny that I now find these noises of Asian drama and the food preparation and Cantopop familiar and comforting as well now as a non Asian person, lol
I’m Latino, but if you replace the historical drama with a soap, and replace the Chinese instrument with old Spanish folk songs, this could be my childhood. Immigrant parents seem to be the same across races.
i'm almost in tears this is unironically the most helpful study tool i've ever seen in my entire life. it's exactly what i need AND she loves me?? bringing me water and stuff? it's so sweet
As a 35 year old who’s mum passed away when I was 6, this was so comforting. We aren’t Asian but the sound of a mum doing stuff around the house and checking in soothes that inner child. Makes me wonder how she would have parented around study ect.
it must have been tough growing up without your momma, i wish i didnt take mine for granted when i read comments like these... i hope you are well and healthy ❤
The joke is that it actually really helps me stay motivated to study. She enters so quietly, I’ll never know when the next surprise check is. I better get to work.
@@antimatics759 lol, my mom was this in a different font. She would wait at the closed door listening, then burst open the door really loudly asking how everything was going. No snacks or anything, just “checking in”, lol
@@caidalee1994 Haha tbh my mum did this too when I was talking to friends online - I could hear the floor outside my room creak slightly as she slowly shifted her weight onto it 😂😂
I thought being forced to keep my door open was a bad thing until I started missing her bringing me water/juice/snack/fruit/chocolate/ice cream, gently putting them on an empty spot on the table and walking out without saying a single word so I don't lose my focus
I started laughing because this was funny, but then a slipper flew into my head. I have been studying for some time now... I am now an astronaut, navy seal, and a doctor, and the video is only at the 2 hour mark.
@@magdolyn think they mean just 1 clip of Asian mum looped over and over again, but were surprised there's many different clips to make it immersive :DD
The sound of washing the dishes, especially the pan (oh yes i can recognize just by hearing) fills my soul with feelings of security and support. This Masterpiece hits deep.
Uh... There's indeed A LOT of work behind the scenes such as like script, scene timing, sounds, the white nose, the acting, methods for studying time control (I think he was based on the pomodoro method, which I think is amazing, by the way) and we really need to applause this jewel, but I guess, just guessing, that he shot all the scenes at once (by his script) and than edited the video to last 4 amazing comforting hours ❤️
@@SmileOrangeWillow sorry to be a killjoy but it is a loop. Check every time he walks into the room and you will notice that it's the exact same loop. still a great video tho haha
I grew up in a multigenerational middle eastern household, so when studying my mom, grandma *and* grandpa would occasionally show up to check on me. They would look over my shoulder, talk about my studies and then bring me a fruit platter. This reminds me of those times
I wondered this but someone posted some timestamps and it loops after 14 minutes or so. Ingenious idea. I love my practicing though esp now that I'm sounding better (violin).

Honestly, in the midst of hundreds of concentration videos and entire playlists made to study, this video is the only one that actually makes me focus for a long time and eases my anxiety. Thanks, Eddie- I mean, Asian mum :)
Dude actually committed to his video. I’ve never seen someone do something like this. I just expected a generic loop style video, but I was surprised. Well done!
@@riverbandit2138 I don't think it's looped, or at least not completely! If you go to 1:40:40, you will see Brett really briefly and that doesn't happen anywhere else in the video
This is actually a brilliantly executed idea. One of the most original videos I've ever seen on UA-cam. Yeah the Asian mom trope has been played a lot but a full 4 hour experience complete with space to actually do your work is pretty genius not gonna lie.
No but really where can I get more of this stuff. I like having some background noise when I study but music is too much and white noise is so monotonous. This is perfect.
Dear Brett and Eddy, if you see this, THANK YOU for leaving this one. When I remembered the existence of this video and that it might be gone, I was really sad. I know many people took great comfort in this. I dont even have an Asian mom but I am one of them! This video is truly a simple but important one of your works.
Thank you for your encouragement and support! Your belief in me gives me the motivation to keep pushing towards my goals. Let's work together to make them a reality.
I am a 47 yr old white woman. I live by myself in Chiang Mai. I am addicted to this video. It is so comforting to hear Asian mom doing mom stuff around the house and have little visits and check ins.
I went through 5 stages watching this: 1) omg this is hilarious 2) wait? he's gonna do this for 4 hours? now thats dedication 3) this is lowkey working... 4) omg this is so wholesome 5) I'm just gonna keep this playing in the background forever
@@idkSpookyStuff I know!! Feels like when mom used to bring me fruit while I do homework stuff. Actually she never did that. She would just call out that there's fruit in the kitchen and I would go get it. Which is still very much appreciated.
I never thought that something as simple as my mom coming in to bring me a snack and check on me was seemingly so uncommon, judging by the comments. It's so sweet yet sad to read everyone sharing how they never had anything like this and how comforting this video is for them. I promise that when I'm a mother i will forever bring my kids tea and food as they study.
I’m surprised by the amount of people saying their parents come in and check on them like this. I have loving parents of course and maybe it’s because we’re white but if I have to study or do something similar nobody even checks to see if I’m actually working. Sometimes my mom will ask if I’ve done my homework but nothing like this haha This video was definitely comforting, even if I only used it to remind myself to put away my laundry.
I actually teared up, i lost my grandma last year and i was living with her while studying for college. I sometimes leave my door open because the noise from her cooking and watching the news and tv dramas helped me relax my mind (white noise calms me). The best part was every 7pm I would hear her footsteps towards my room so she could call me to eat dinner. She passed away last year, I already graduated but I still live in her house with my aunt, I find myself crying because the silence kills me every time i leave my door open. Edit: Hi, all! Didn't notice that this comment had lots of responses. Thank you all for your heartfelt comments, cried while reading all of it. I am doing okay now, grief is still there but I'm learning to grow around it. I've also left the house, currently living with my fiance so silence isn't really there anymore 😅. But sometimes I still come back to her house just to feel like I have somewhere to return to. And although I still tear up when I think of her, it's mostly tearing up due to my memories of her and not the fact that she is gone. I hope you guys are doing ok as well! Hugs to all of you 💕
@pants_on_fire I understand so well. My mum died last year too and I sometimes spend a very looong time in my car before going home. I find it unbearable to come home to an empty flat.
This popped up in my recommended videos. My parents were nothing like this growing up, so I'm watching this as an adult & feeling so charmed and cared for (and a little jealous of people with parents who would check on you) -- and it really is helping me focus! I wish someone really were bringing me snacks, though.
What twoset thought the response would be: “haha, asian parents, amiright? XD” The actual response: “Thanks, My parent(s) died/were never present and this video was really comforting for me because it helped me somewhat relive an experience I will never get to experience (again)” Its a tad heartbreaking
If you die tonight, do you know where you're going? Did you know that Jesus Christ is THE only way to Heaven and He loves you? Through Him, God offers you a FREE gift - forgiveness. All you need to do is repent, turn away from your sins and evil ways, from now on put your faith completely in Jesus Christ and be obedient to Him. Biblical explanation of the Gospel: God doesn’t want anybody in hell because He loves us, but you must understand why we deserve hell and why those who refuse to live under His authority will go there. (Matthew 12:30) ''Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters.'' He gave us the law (Ten Commandments) not to make us righteous, but rather to show us our sin (Romans 3:20). God gave us free will and since Adam sinned in the garden, sin is the nature of our flesh and we ALL have sinned. (Romans 3:23) The law demands death to those who sin (Romans 6:23). Revelation 21:8 says that all liars will go to hell. For someone to be justified before holy God they have to be sinless, that's why everyone need Jesus Christ - for He lived a sinless life and resurrected. None of us are good in God’s eyes, because for God good means moral perfection. We all have broken God’s commandments, we all have sinned in our lives so none of us are good. ‘’For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it.’’ (James 2:10). Our carnal mind is hostile to God; it does not submit to God's moral law and it never will (Romans 8:7). We hate the thought of God for the same reason a criminal hates a policeman - we know we have sinned against God and are guilty of it, but we don't want to be damned. Good News is that Jesus Christ lived a perfect, holy, sinless life, Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, He was buried and He was raised from the dead on the third day according to the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 15:3-4) For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.’’ (John 3:16) We aren’t saved based on our good deeds/works, but only by the grace of God through faith. ''For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9) Jesus said ‘’it is finished’’ (John 19:30) just before He died on the cross, which means He paid the fine for our sins (past, present, future) to be forgiven if we repent and trust in Him. ''What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not!'' (Romans 6:15) ''Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out'' (Acts 3:19) Repentance is a turning away from sin and all evil works, and it always results in changed behavior (Luke 3:8). Biblically, a person who repents does not continue willfully in sin. While sorrow from sin is not equivalent to repentance, it is certainly an element of scriptural repentance (2 Corinthians 7:10). Do not play a hypocrite. ''God is light; in Him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth.'' (1 John 1:5-6) If you have repented and have genuine faith in Jesus Christ then you will receive the gift of Holy Spirit and be born-again spiritually. (John 3:3) Jesus replied, "Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again." When you believed, you were marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession - to the praise of His glory. (Ephesians 1:13-14) You are born again with the Spirit of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17). Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him. (John 3:36) ''You will know them by their fruits'' (Matthew 7) If you have been truly born-again with the Holy Spirit and He has regenerated your heart, you will desire righteousnes - to do what is good and righteous in God's eyes, to seek God everyday in His Word and prayer, to strengthen your relationship with God. You will no longer desire to willfully continue living in sin but will want to obey God out of your love for Him because of His amazing grace revealed to us through the death and resurrection of His Son. ''Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.'' (2 Corinthians 5:17) ''For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.'' (Eph 2:10) You will have a testimony - of what your life had been before and how has it changed now when you have surrendered it to Lord Jesus Christ. As a declaration and affirmation of your faith in Jesus Christ, get baptised in water because He commanded us to do so. In John 3:5 Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.'' ''Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit'' (Matthew 28:19) ''Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.'' (Acts 2:41) ''And this water symbolizes the baptism that now saves you also - not the removal of dirt from the body, but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God - through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,'' (1 Peter 3:21) ''We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.'' (Romans 6:4) ''Having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through your faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.'' (Colossians 2:12) Please get right with God and start your relationship with Jesus Christ today before it’s too late, because there’s not much time left! "But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.’’ (Mark 13:32) Get to know Christ through God's Word - Bible. At first I recommend reading Gospel of John and book of Romans. God bless you! Jeremiah 29:13 - ''You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.''
Oh my gosh that must be even more stressful XD. The funniest thing is my room is set up in the same orientation as the room in this video, so I can really relate to this. (except in real life whenever my dad does this live I can hear his footsteps so it's less heart-attack inducing)

This is actually so comforting and nostalgic. Sometimes I click on videos just because I want to see the comments section, and this was one of them. I thought this was going to be one of those joke kind of videos, especially by the opening scene, but then I read the heartbreaking comments here, I just want to be that mom that so many needed and didn't get or still don't have. I'm sending mom hugs and love and support from Sweden to whoever needs it. Edit- I just had a baby 4 days ago and it was pretty traumatic and painful. Out of nowhere I get a notification about this post and it makes me want to cry. I'm just a small UA-camr/mom/expat in Sweden. Sometimes I feel all alone and broken but I keep doing what I'm doing because I know the world can get better if we listen to each other's stories and listen to our intuition and help each other feel less alone. Technically, you can loop this whole video, and this would be an endless time of Eddy checking on you. That would be so spine-chilling though, as you would be watched 24/7 to see if you are studying or not while facing the risks of emotional damage.
I thought it wasn't helping me at first, but as I continued studying it started to seem normal, like... I don't know how to explain it, but I ended up getting used to the sound, everything just seemed normal, like I was part of the scenario. I hope I've made myself clear. Everything takes time, and it also takes time to focus on studying while you're watching this video, but after a while it all seems natural. Not least because when I took off my headphones, there was a disturbing silence. Thank you for this very creative and special help

Those kinds of scars don’t show. In a world where we can be anything, please be kind. ❤️ I’m glad people are finding some solace through this amazing video. And it’s great for getting things done.
i am an international student and while this is hilarious it is also very comforting, the background sound of mum just walking around and doing housework chores. when you live alone you're practically treated with silence everytime you're home, it does get lonely if you're from a hectic Asian household.
@@dafphtthedislikeupdater7836 it's not. I also thought the same. I mean unless your parents are really toxic, which mine were for a while but thankfully stopped, the loneliness does hits you. Imagine spending weekends all by yourself, cleaning up all by yourself, and when you're feeling down, noone to annoy you or distract you. I remember the annoying times of my mom randomly coming in my room, it was annoying back then, but I'd rather have that over being home and realising that when you're sick, you're simply all by yourself. You have to walk to the store with a fever and prepare food by yourself no matter how tired or fatigued you are. Living alone is only fun for the first few months and then then the silence starts getting loud.

This video legit sort of heals some of the neglect I experienced in childhood. My mom wasn’t there. She didn’t care if I did my homework or not. And I love to imagine having a mom that taught me to be responsible by being there for me. It makes it even better that this is comedic. If you’ve got a neglect wound, you know what I mean.

I think my mom does care about me, but I can't count on her when I need help focusing or organizing . her response to the bad habits I've developed since i was a kid are You should've fixed the problem yourself" or "you are old enough to control your own actions". That would be true if i was taught to be responsible when I was younger, but now that I'm older I have to teach myself and we all know how disappointing a learning irresponsible teenager is right?

I know this video is supposed to be funny, but it made me realize I never knew there were parents out there that paid this much attention to their children. I was lucky to even see my videogame-addicted father out of the computer room for 30 minutes throughout the day, certainly never bringing snacks for me. To realize that people actually had this... It can be a good and a bad thing. My mom smothered me growing up. Her entire life revolved around me. The first time I drove a car by myself was after I had graduated from high school and the only reason I was allowed was because I had my first job. I just wanted her to get her own life and let me have some freedom. Often, we want what we don't have. My siblings were 10+ years older than me and I wished desperately for siblings my age. If I'd had them, I probably would have dreamed of being an only child.
I have an Asian mom and this really hits home. Randomly walking into your room, the "don't be lazy". The vague muffled sounds are also accurate, my mom plays Japanese dramas on her phone on full volume in the other room. I gave her headphones. She doesn't really wear them
My god, asian moms are same everywhere! Mine doesn't wear headphones too! She says she can't hear so put volume on phone to max. Trying to explain that you will hear better with headphones is futile. And opening the doors part, fucking hell, i am getting ptsd

I was expecting a joke but honestly, this is nice. Ive never known a family home that wasnt ruled by constant anxiety and a strange sense of cold that sucked the life out of you, so having this sense of people having a good time in the other room and having parents who check in on you and bring food and snacks they know you like is healing.
I love this. I got all my homework done without my phone or music or anything like that. My mom came to my room and she shouted me what tf I was doing and turned this off, she didn´t even realize how much this is making me to motivated..."You had to focus on your school blaablaa" Mom. Leave me alone and let this asian mum take care of it. THANK YOU.
im studying for school exams and my mom says the same thing, she also rants about how i have IGCSE next semester and how i have to put away the computer and stuff like that, but the more i listen to her talking i have less time studying sooo...

Peeled tangerine, 10hour slow simmered tasty soup, dried fig, fish oil capsule, mint candy, sunflower seeds, apple slices, heated blanket my ma literally comes in with all types of stuffs for emotional support 😂
I lost my parents to covid last year in September (2021) two weeks apart, so now I live with my grandma. This helps a lot, cause I don't get the 'parents checking up' on you anymore like other kids. I was 15 when they passed, now 16.
@@Therealalbot you don't get asmr that's why it makes you feel that way. Asmr is an actual feeling like as if someone is giving you a really soothing head massage in response to the whispering etc. I was one of the first people that brought the entire thing to UA-cam.
I'm not even studying and I find this comforting. Sometimes it's just nice to feel like someone else is in the house. My mom never had these background noises, as her and my dad are always at work (Something I am extremely grateful for the work they put in to sustain us) so this just makes me feel nice. It makes me feel like I really do have someone to talk to, despite being alone right now. Thank you Eddie, I greatly appreciate this. Edit: My brain was not totally here when I thanked you, sorry for calling you Brett ^^;
Thank you so much for keeping this up. I panicked when I discovered many of your videos had been removed. There was another study video that was also good. I think it was a shorter one. I discovered it fairly recently and I think it was new this year. I really loved that one too. I guess you had to choose one. Thank you for all the years of smiles you brought us. Best wishes for you and your new adventure in life!
as a person who hates being at home because of relationship with parents, i feel so thankful to Eddy because this feels like normal, peaceful home which i never had. thank you.
Try to put the video in x2 mode, you’ll be even more productive And to achieve the true dedication trophy you need to put the video twice on two separate screens, according to the Asian Parents Education Committee
Literally not even three minutes in and suddenly want to cry because I realized that this is a needed thing for people. That people don't always have a mom of their own who cares very much about them. I really love my mom. She's helped me so much in my life and has always been my biggest advocate. She's still letting me stay with her at 23 years old, not just because of it being a cultural thing, but because she doesn't want me to be struggling for food and heating when I'm already struggling to figure out what to do to get to a point where I can actually get a job or go to college. She might baby me a bit, but I'm still thankful for it. I'm very thankful that I have such an awesome mom.
It is so true....my mom is still in my life but my parents divorced when I was 9 and I lived with my dad who worked 12 hour shifts. My mum was never that nurturing to begin with, shes more of a friend kind of mom. So I actually never had this where a parent would "check in" on me or even encourage me to do work. They were never that involved in my life. I wish I had a parent who cared enough to do so, this is kind of comforting and reminds me of my grandma.
There’s nothing wrong with staying with your parents for longer if you’re happy there. It’s more economical, you have more support, and you can focus on improving your future and taking care of yourself. It really just makes sense. Happy you have that!!
There is a sense of homeliness I have never gotten before ever, a sense of structure and peace yet work and just balance. My parents, family, me or house are never very stable, just home life in general. I love my mom but the feeling I get from this man playing looped videos pretending to be an Asian mom with noise in the background is quite nice and I’ve actually got shit done for once?? Literally no other methods have ever worked. And bringing snacks and drinks? I love this. Now I need videos of them telling me to sleep or do chores 😭

I love your profil pic
I dated a guy who was Chinese and spent a lot of time at his house, this is what it always sounded like there too, and even though I had my problems with him I always loved his mom and appreciate the memories I got to share with his family, as an only child of a single dad i end up wishing for a larger family experience a lot. It’s funny that I now find these noises of Asian drama and the food preparation and Cantopop familiar and comforting as well now as a non Asian person, lol
and the way she doesn't ever bother to close the door 💀
This is also what it sounded like growing up in my grandma's house 😭
I’m Latino, but if you replace the historical drama with a soap, and replace the Chinese instrument with old Spanish folk songs, this could be my childhood. Immigrant parents seem to be the same across races.

If you die tonight, do you know where you're going? Did you know that Jesus Christ is THE only way to Heaven and He loves you?
Through Him, God offers you a FREE gift - forgiveness. All you need to do is repent, turn away from your sins and evil ways,
from now on put your faith completely in Jesus Christ and be obedient to Him.
Biblical explanation of the Gospel:
God doesn’t want anybody in hell because He loves us, but you must understand why
we deserve hell and why those who refuse to live under His authority will go
there. (Matthew 12:30) ''Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not
gather with me scatters.'' He gave us the law (Ten Commandments) not to make us righteous, but
rather to show us our sin (Romans 3:20). God gave us free will and since Adam
sinned in the garden, sin is the nature of our flesh and we ALL have sinned. (Romans 3:23)
The law demands death to those who sin (Romans 6:23).
Revelation 21:8 says that all liars will go to hell.
For someone to be justified before holy God they have to be sinless, that's why everyone need Jesus Christ - for He lived a sinless life and resurrected.
None of us are good in God’s eyes, because for God good means moral perfection. We all
have broken God’s commandments, we all have sinned in our lives so none of us
are good. ‘’For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is
guilty of breaking all of it.’’ (James 2:10). Our carnal mind is hostile to God; it does not submit
to God's moral law and it never will (Romans 8:7). We hate the thought of God for the same reason a criminal
hates a policeman - we know we have sinned against God and are guilty of it, but we don't want to be damned.
Good News is that Jesus Christ lived a perfect, holy, sinless life, Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,
He was buried and He was raised from the dead on the third day according to the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 15:3-4)
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever
believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.’’ (John 3:16)
We aren’t saved based on our good deeds/works, but only by the grace of God through faith.
''For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God -
not by works, so that no one can boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9)
Jesus said ‘’it is finished’’ (John 19:30) just before He died on the cross, which means He paid the fine for our sins
(past, present, future) to be forgiven if we repent and trust in Him.
''What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not!'' (Romans 6:15)
''Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out'' (Acts 3:19)
Repentance is a turning away from sin and all evil works, and it always results in changed behavior (Luke 3:8).
Biblically, a person who repents does not continue willfully in sin.
While sorrow from sin is not equivalent to repentance, it is certainly an element of scriptural repentance (2 Corinthians 7:10).
Do not play a hypocrite. ''God is light; in Him there is no darkness at all.
If we claim to have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth.'' (1 John 1:5-6)
If you have repented and have genuine faith in Jesus Christ then you will receive the gift of Holy Spirit and be born-again spiritually.
(John 3:3) Jesus replied, "Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again."
When you believed, you were marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance
until the redemption of those who are God’s possession - to the praise of His glory. (Ephesians 1:13-14)
You are born again with the Spirit of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17).
Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him. (John 3:36)
''You will know them by their fruits'' (Matthew 7)
If you have been truly born-again with the Holy Spirit and He has regenerated your heart, you will desire righteousnes -
to do what is good and righteous in God's eyes, to seek God everyday in His Word and prayer, to strengthen your relationship with God.
You will no longer desire to willfully continue living in sin but will want to obey God out of your love for Him because of His amazing grace
revealed to us through the death and resurrection of His Son.
''Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.'' (2 Corinthians 5:17)
''For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.'' (Eph 2:10)
You will have a testimony - of what your life had been before and how has it changed now when you have surrendered it to Lord Jesus Christ.
As a declaration and affirmation of your faith in Jesus Christ, get baptised in water because He commanded us to do so.
In John 3:5 Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.''
''Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit'' (Matthew 28:19)
''Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.'' (Acts 2:41)
''And this water symbolizes the baptism that now saves you also - not the removal of dirt from the body,
but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God - through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,'' (1 Peter 3:21)
''We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that,
just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.'' (Romans 6:4)
''Having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through your faith in the working of God,
who raised him from the dead.'' (Colossians 2:12)
Please get right with God and start your relationship with Jesus Christ today before it’s too late, because there’s not much time left!
"But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.’’ (Mark 13:32)
Get to know Christ through God's Word - Bible. At first I recommend reading Gospel of John and book of Romans. God bless you!
Jeremiah 29:13 - ''You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.''
I’m sorry, I hope you’re doing okay ❤
good lord this hits home too hard... i would have actually used it while studying if i didnt have my mom doing it live...
Oh my gosh that must be even more stressful XD. The funniest thing is my room is set up in the same orientation as the room in this video, so I can really relate to this. (except in real life whenever my dad does this live I can hear his footsteps so it's less heart-attack inducing)
When I was 12, my mom used to sit with me at my desk from 7 pm to 7 am in the morning. She had the answer sheet ripped out and said I could only go to sleep if I got all the answers right. She never left my desk apart from going to the bathroom. She said I was too “excited for my own good” and needed to be “disciplined.” I’m Korean.

This is actually so comforting and nostalgic. Even though asian parents seem really strict, they still show their love through their own small gestures like bringing you drinks or food throughout the day. I remember when I was studying for my uni exams and my mum would still be bringing me hot chocolate and snacks at 2am to my room. Thanks Eddy for recreating this comforting feeling.
Technically, you can loop this whole video, and this would be an endless time of Eddy checking on you. That would be so spine-chilling though, as you would be watched 24/7 to see if you are studying or not while facing the risks of emotional damage.
What!?? Where is Eddy? Time code please :I

You mean 40/7
You can conveniently loop it 10 times based on the video length
Whatever works
I thought it wasn't helping me at first, but as I continued studying it started to seem normal, like... I don't know how to explain it, but I ended up getting used to the sound, everything just seemed normal, like I was part of the scenario.
I hope I've made myself clear.
Everything takes time, and it also takes time to focus on studying while you're watching this video, but after a while it all seems natural. Not least because when I took off my headphones, there was a disturbing silence.
Thank you for this very creative and special help

i am an international student and while this is hilarious it is also very comforting, the background sound of mum just walking around and doing housework chores. when you live alone you're practically treated with silence everytime you're home, it does get lonely if you're from a hectic Asian household.
sounds peaceful honestly, let's trade places pls
