It seems the past few years, with Motorola sneaking in the back door they have changed. However, I have the 400, 1200, and 891, so far all is good. Moto now owns Vertex I was told when they sent me the radio programming program.
Yaesu has and is having lots of trouble whether they admit it or not. Has something to do with what they're putting inside.....I've had major trouble with 5 991A's and one 7250 and a friend of mine had trouble with a ftDX10.
@@aaronlabranche2977 well all i can say is i didnt miss what you were showing but it doesnt do that on mine. So i would send it back and ask for a refund or another radio. Not sure why yours is doing that. It definitely should not be.
That sucks bro I had that problem with a mobile I paid good money for it crappy engineering I know what your talking about. I have 2 kenwood mobiles the best one is the tm v71 a I love it easy to program great receve half the price for the yeasu.

There's a pop from the speaker every time the squelch breaks, THE VOLUME IS ALL THE WAY DOWN. Look at the knob. There shouldn't be ANYTHING coming from the speaker. I don't care if you've got a spark gap transmitter in the room, it should be silent with the volume down. How are people missing this?
It probably made in China I always buy kenwood vhf uhf mobiles more quality and easy to use. Never cared for yeasu 2m 440 radios it's a bear to program kenwood is really easy to program and they have great receve 👍⚡

This new 6000 seems like a rip off bare bones just bluetooth with is totally lame not needed no c4fo no dual reciver $320

I should say Yaesu has made all these issues right but it's a long way from purchase to trusting your radio again.

Yup you definitely missing something. Speaker large pop every time either band is silenced with volume knob squelch break caluses lok
