Growth never happens in a place of comfort. Most infuriatingly true tidbit I've learned. Listen to that gut feeling. Be brave. And utilize whatever support system you have as you go through it ❤the more we know, the better we can be. And there's a helluva lot of work that goes in to getting from point A to point B
Have to convince yourself of this truth: rejection does not make you UNworthy. Just offers opportunity for further movement and growth in a new direction or way! That’s all. 🤷🏼♀️
I was rejected from Ball State University in their program to become a teacher of hearing impaired kids. Instead, I went to Northern Illinois University and changed my major to teaching visually impaired kids. I moved to Florida, got a job right away, AND married a visually impaired man. If I'd gone to Ball State we NEVER would have met. Rejection isn't necessarily a bad thing!
Thank you for sharing!!! Too often we focus on our accomplishments but sharing areas where we were unsuccessful helps to make it normal. It also helps you feel proud of what you did to move on/ lessons learned. Just like success, rejection makes us who we are today.
You two bring me great joy. I lost my dog 4 years ago, my wife of 53 years 2 years ago, and my best friend of 50 years, last year. Can’t be sad, as I’ve had great fortune, A beautiful wife , a son, daughter, and a beautiful Granddaughter, the love of my life. So why am I telling two people I’ve met on Facebook this? Because about a year ago I started watching UA-cam much more than television, real people living real lives. And I came upon yours. I look forward to every episodes and reminds me of my late wife Becky, and I and how happy we were and the great .fun we had bantering with each other. Thank you both for the hard work I know it takes to produce a glimpse of your lives and love to share with us. There is no doubt you will be wonderful parents, so get the ball rolling!😊🍷

Ha ha at least you got to be a part that was actually a part! I was 8 trying out for Wizard of Oz for our school play. All the younger kids ALL wanted the part of Toto! My friend got it 🐶. Hannah, I relate to your Dorthy rejection. I tried out for the role of Grettle in our 6th grade play of Hansel and Grettle. I got to be a cookie. I held up a card board gingerbread man cookie that just stood there in front of the witches house. No lines, no movement, nothing. 😆

Hi 👋 Lisa, can I talk to you for a moment?
I got rejected from the first service dog organization I applied to and thank goodness I did because I would have Dario by my side everyday
Wouldn't ?
Ha ha at least you got to be a part that was actually a part! I was 8 trying out for Wizard of Oz for our school play. All the younger kids ALL wanted the part of Toto! My friend got it 🐶. I was gutted. However, I was offered the part of ... 🌺 A POPPY! That's not even a part!! It's a flower! WTF!
Twenty years later, I was working at a group home for physically challenged individuals and they all got the good parts, of course. I was asked to play the talking tree with the apples 🌳. I played the heck out of that tree lol. By the end the play from rehearsals and 2 performances, I had a scratchy, gruff voice but I was NOT A POPPY LOL
Awesome job last night on Ordinary Joe! Congratulations!🎊😊
Can I get an autographs from you two?PLEASE!!!😁😉
Hi 👋 Kathy, can I talk to you for a moment?
Rejection is an instrumental part of our personal growth and development. The key is to be resilient. Easier said than done, I know. I loved hearing these stories from both of you. I also love that you two have become so inspiring because of your rejections.
MUCH easier said than done. You get to a point where you stop asking.
@@ChrisPage68 That's true, and it also really depends on the situation.
The new intro animation is freaking amazing!! lol
@Austin Howland I'm making it! Happy New Year to you as well Austin! Hope you're doing alright.
Hi 👋 Chrissy, can I talk to you for a moment?
I have Many throughout my lifetime but maybe some was God protecting me from something that would have not worked out in the long run. Will have to think about a few and post them. 🤗
You guys are awesome and already doing wonderful things with your lives.🤗

“Sometimes I’ll see someone drowning, and I just like, won’t care.” Lmao 🤣
I can't even tell you about my Top 3 rejections. They are so depressing I don't want to be responsible for people's possible reactions. I did enjoy the video.
Cool how you really listen to each other! You don't talk over each other. Pleasure to listen to 😊
Hi 👋 Bonnie, can I talk to you for a moment?
