You mentioned that in order to get into Compass, you can get a job as a team member. Was that the case for Sotheby? What does it take to get into Sotheby?
@@MOBU76 A team member is someone that works under another agent. At Compass, you have to qualify to be hired there based on your sales volume and being collaborative without ego. If you are newer in real estate or don't have the volume to be hired, you can work under someone else as a team member. As far as splits, it varies depending on each agent and your production. The split is confidential between Compass and the agent. Are you an agent? Where do you work?

Sotheby's doesn't have any requirements. Just a real estate license.
A brand new agent won’t even have a chance to be a real estate agent at Compass per how you mention the agents get selected. I’m I right?
They can get a job at Compass as a team member of an agent that qualifies to be at Compass.
