- The historic marketplace around St. Lambertus Church in the upper town is tranquil and cozy. The ring of houses around the church has existed since the Middle Ages. Every year in late summer, the Heimatfest takes place on the market in the historic upper town. It is one of the most beautiful city festivals in the region.
