Hi Michael, thanks for your comment! 😊 I totally agree with you! An update to BA's Business Class offering was so overdue! Looks much more sleek and modern now. And like you say, the old cabin was very dated - and who enjoys climbing over passengers to go to the toilet?! 🙈
BA are operating flights with the minimum legal numBer of cabin crew which means service suffers. Also the A350 is badly designed for service not giving the crew that are there the best chances to give great service. I find the new club suite a bit claustrophobic and actually find premium economy the best seats On the A350. The crew on the second leg only fly São Paulo to Buenos Aires and back again so a nice short working day and usually a quieter aircraft so less pressure.
Hello John, just noticed your second comment on this video - sorry I didn't reply sooner, please forgive me 😊 Ah yes, I understand what you mean - being short staffed is bound to lead to a reduced service which is a shame. And of course, with the second leg being short, the new crew are bound to be in higher spirits! Fingers crossed BA starts increasing crew numbers soon as travel rebounds and we see the BA of old! 🤞🏻😁
Disappointed at the service on the first leg, pre pandemic I used them each year GRU-LHR and service was excellent every time. Also from what I saw of your food, I would say that’s inferior to what I was used to. Hopefully once this wretched pandemic ‘and it’s problems are sorted they will get back to the old service and food offerings.
Hi Cameron 😊 Thanks for your comment! Yes, I agree that is really was a disappointing service on the first leg. And like you say, pre-pandemic it was much better! Ah, it is very interesting to hear that the food was inferior compared to what you are used to. I can totally believe that. It was hard for me to compare it as I hadn't tried BA's premium offering before. Anyway, like you say, fingers crossed we see a return to great service and food with BA - and soon 🤞🏻
Hi Colin, thanks for your comment 😊 Yes, it certainly seems like that is the case 😔 They need to raise their game fast otherwise they will lose so many once-loyal customers 👎🏻
Hi Craig, yes - looking back on this meal, it was average at best! I was trying to bear in mind that many airlines are still using the pandemic as an excuse for lacklustre food offerings - but we're far past that excuse now. Fingers crossed BA ups its game, and soon! 🤞🏻
Hey great video. Which kind of hearing aid do you use? Which model is it, I have recently had to start using hearing aid. I have Phonic Lumpy L90 model. I am avid traveller and I have a question about what I have to do with hearing aids in airport security control. Is it true that you cannot go trough x ray and do I have to inform the security personnel? I heard that aparently you cannot put in X-ray tray either. My audiologist didn't know. Btw Ba new cabin crew they're children half of them because they're mixed crew, meaning they do Long haul and short haul mixture. There is none world crew anymore (this use to be the most senior cabin crew) they're some of them left as recently flown to Singapore and I have a lovely crew the old one. But yeah they started cost cutting in the only good thing they have left anyway... Such a shame. Keep blogging
Hey! Thank you so much for your kind comment 😁 I'm glad you enjoyed the video ✈️ My hearing aids Danalogic Ambio Smart which have been made exclusively for the NHS. They are great and feature Bluetooth - meaning I can listen to music through my hearing aids which is pretty cool 😁 However, they are rather big hearing aids compared to yours - I believe yours are nice and small? 😊 Regarding your question about the airport, I never have any issues with my hearing aids and always wear them 😊 So no, you don't have to mention anything at all, which is good 😊 As for the cabin crew, it sure is a shame about the cost cutting and changes 👎🏻 BA certainly isn't as great as it used to be... I'm just hoping they realise the consequences of cost cutting and row back on the changes! 🤞🏻
If we have the choice, for a couple traveling, would you recommend Row 11 (last row, center seats) or Row 1 (first row, center seats) for a long haul flight?
Oo, that's a very good question! It depends. If it is a night flight and/or you want to receive your meals nice and early, I'd opt for the front row! The upside to being in the back row is knowing nobody is behind you, giving more of a feeling of privacy. I hope that helps? So sorry for the delay in replying! 😊
Hi Liam, so sorry for the delay in replying to your comment - please forgive me! 😊 After I published the video I realised I didn't include the details about the price - so I posted it in the description. I'll explain it here too, to save you going back to check. So first, I booked a return from London Heathrow to Buenos Aires in World Traveller Plus (Premium Economy) on the British Airways website. This cost £1,402.50pp. I then kept checking my BA app and a few days before my flight a deal popped up offering me the chance to upgrade to Club World (business class) for £639pp. It is not always guaranteed you'll get offered a deal - it all depends on how booked up the flight gets. I hope that all makes sense? Thanks for flagging this by the way 😁
@@liamgrady4346 No worries at all buddy! Ooo, how exciting! I hope you have a fantastic trip - you'll certainly enjoy the CW cabin 😁 I'm glad you enjoyed the video 😊
I’m a BA Gold member for life and I’m sorry to say BA has deteriorated immensely. I used to do the São Paulo to LHR every two weeks. I just returned on the new club suites and they are poor. The service is now terrible- all the food slapped at once on a tray - boring and low quality. The raid the larder now is very basic. The lounge at BA terminal 3 , first class lounge had no food , just sandwiches. And finally the seat - cramped and claustrophobic? But what is worst is that it is crooked - the leg rest is at an angle , slight angle , which makes it very restricted.
Hi Edward, thank you so much for your comment! It is great to hear such a well-detailed opinion, especially from a permanent BA gold member. It is a sad but recurring theme among the responses that BA has deteriorated rapidly. What certainly stood out for me personally was the poor service - it was night and day compared to pre-pandemic. I received better service on a recent Wizz Air flight! As this had been my first ultra long-haul flight since the pandemic, it was hard to compare it to another product. But now, looking back on it and reading your comment, I realise how poor the food was. It is so frustrating to see airlines such as BA using COVID as an excuse for the one-tray, tasteless offerings! I'm shocked but no longer surprised to hear the first class lounge was poor. Once again, using COVID as an excuse. It is terrible that you had only sandwiches available! That's what you get for your loyal custom all these years - so bad. As for the seat, you're not the first to describe it as claustrophobic... so it is certainly a mutual feeling. I think if I did this trip again, having flown a lot more since, I would feel the same. It really is sad to see BA fall so steeply. I just hope they do something about it all, and soon! Sadly, they've already lost many loyal customers because of this - so we will just have to wait and see. Thanks again for your comment Edward! It was good to hear your thoughts 😊
Flying PHX to LHR in April 2023 with my wife so thank you for the informative video, glad to know what to expect!
Thank you for your kind comment 😁 I'm glad you found it informative. I hope you and your wife enjoy your flight from Phoenix to Heathrow next year ✈
Just started watching your vids, really nice and informative! Keep it going!
Thank you so much, Dan! I'm so glad you enjoyed it and left such a nice comment 😁 Messages like this certainly help me to keep it going! 💪🏻🫡
Glad to see British airways finally changed it's business class seats, these look very modern. The original flat bed was looking extremely dated.

The BA inflight service is now infamous. They need to raise their game.
That was like economy food on Emirates

I flew from Buenos Aires to London, direct, British Airways, on April 2019. It took about 12 hours (maybe 13).
