@@arcadebeast2219 Yes, that scenario is going to be discussed as a part of the solution to the second exercise problem (given at the end of this video).
Dr Structure Will you be planning to make videos for plastic design of beams and frames? If not; could you give some reference books for this topic? Thanx
Eventually we will, but it will be a while before we get there. There are a few textbook on the topic out there, you may want to take a look at Structural and Stress Analysis by T.H.G. Megson. The book has a chapter of plastic analysis that is relatively easy to follow and understand.
@@DrStructure I look forward to watching the video. Is it possible to compare the frame sections elastic and plastic design in the videos SA51 and SA52?
Yes, we plan to discuss design topics, but after we've completed our coverage of structural analysis. This will take a while since there is a lot of ground to cover...
If there are too many unknowns, the problem becomes statically indeterminate. In that case, we need to use more advanced techniques, bringing the properties of the material (cable) into the formulation, to analysis the system.
Your observation is correct. We are working on a broader project with the aim of packaging one or more related lectures, and other learning elements into standalone modules that can be accessed online (outside UA-cam), or downloaded and installed as standalone apps on desktops. Our broader aim is to provide richer learning content while reducing their online dependencies.
@@DrStructure Alright, thanks for the response. We will be waiting to see the new improvements that you are preparing for us. So it means the designing part will come after the standalones you are bringing? Its fine thanks
Wow one of the easiest and wonderfull explanation well and good keep uploading videos don't stop it
Very Helpful video
Make more such kind of video
greatest channel❤
Thank u so much
I learned lots of things to ur videos
Please make on videos on steel structure if it possible
Again thank u so much
Awesome mam
Good Doctor Structure
Are the solutions for the SA64 going to come as the lectures for SA65?
Most probably sooner, they should be posted within a week.
@@DrStructure Thank you
You’re welcome!
@@mashambashonhai4901 Please see the video description field for the links.
@@DrStructure Thank you soo much, i greatly appreciate.
Hi Good night can you do a cable with a combined udl and concentrated loads? Thank you
The second half of the video (starting at 6:47) shows how to deal with concentrated loads in combination with uniformly distributed load.
@@DrStructure thank you very much
@@DrStructure can you do a video where the sag is off centre?

To build this video of what did you use a program
There are several software being used for creating these videos including Camtasia Studio, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Animate.
Would you consider making a video series on reinforced concrete?
Yes, we plan to discuss design topics, but after we've completed our coverage of structural analysis. This will take a while since there is a lot of ground to cover...
what if the sagged part is not equal? like pin B is higher than A and the x at the lowest point is not given? :((

Can you tell me what software you used to make the teaching video?
We use various software tools including Adobe Illustrator, Camtasia Studio, Reallusion software tools, and Adobe Animate.

Good day Doctor Structure
Am just curious, the rate of producing videos has reduced, are you facing challenges in making them
