Now if I could convince my daughter to layer the products like you do. She has a similar texture. Also, with so much product (heavy handed) you would think your hair would dry with a white cast; but you have that technique down, Kels. Your curls look awesome.
Thank you so much for sharing this routine. I’m going to look into some of these products. I’ve been doing daily wash and goes in my hair and it’s so good for my hair. My hair rarely breaks or sheds much anymore because I’m constantly keeping moisture in it. And it helps my silk press get silker than ever. I saved your silk press video in a playlist as well to help me when I’m ready to straighten my hair. Honestly, I love the idea of switching between Wash and Go’s and straightening. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it. The versatility is great. And plus elongating my hair is definitely helping it grow much faster. Thanks.❤
Oh my! This is the true definition of wash DAY. With all the time, efforts and so many products I think I'll resign myself to having dehydrated curls! 😮
Whew that's a lot of product. Your hair is white! How much flaking do you get, if any? Oh and I bet it did take a whole day to dry with all those products. Thanks for sharing! I love design essentials. Their custard is phenomenal.
I came back for this video! So glad I remember because I have to try something else because my hair is so dry. It’s seems like too much but I’m thinking it may be what I need to protect it. ❤
Your hair always looks nice❤❤❤. I have not seen a hair video from your sis in a while. Would love to a hair video from her. Tell her her video are missed
They said a few years ago that they prefer their natural hair and they're not really into weaves, wigs. They don't like to manipulate their hair too much. If they do try something, they'll more than likely be using their natural hair. Like the person above said, Kelsey did mention knotless braids.
@@prettygurl747 have you not seen seen women do different things to their hair and it still grows down they back? Cardi b is a great example her hair is to her ass before she was famous it wasn’t and that’s due to wigs and weave and taking care of her hair
Damn you def can’t do a last min wash and run out the door with them 30 products taking forever to dry I know that residue takes forever to dissipate 🤣
Hi there... I liked the video and was very informative. Please advise how often AND when you or your sister sleep overnight with the deep conditioner in your hair? Please respond. Thanks
Apparently you actually only need to condition for 5 minutes for it to penetrate. Otherwise your hair might get over hydrated and you get hydrofatigue. I'd recommend 1-2 a month if you REALLY want to or enjoy deep conditioning overnight. Otherwise, I'd do it 1-2 a month, by replacing your normal conditioner with a mask or deep conditioning.
It depends on your own personal hair type in which how long conditioner can stay in your hair. I can leave conditioner or deep conditioners in my hair overnight and never suffered over hydration in my hair. So if I were you, than I would figure out my hair type, what it responds best to, and things like density and porosity.
There’s no need to leave anything in your hair overnight.. That makes a breeding ground for yeast & mold… deep conditioners stop working the majority of time after 30 mins… after that the product is just sitting there.. And if you use a rinse out conditioner before the deep conditioner, the deep conditioner isn’t even penetrating the hair bc rinse outs leave a coating to fill in the pores.. For maximum benefit of a DC, skip the rinse out & use heat!
I will make my own shampoo/conditioner before I use Mielle..!!! The way her and her husband bullied a YT content creator for her review of their product. Its a no for me!
@@uberhaute_naturalz84 even if I have offended someone I’m big enough to apologize! And never have I purposely set out to harm, bully or offend anyone as they did… See the difference! So yeah I will choose to spend my money in worthy places!
My hair is not even fine and I would still be scared to put all those products on my hair and most importantly I would be scared of the flakes that could happen
my question is how do you stack products like that, and they dont "react". what i mean by that is they may create ( once the hair is dry) little white balls of product on the hair, or flake, or even look like product build up on the hair's finished results. Its been annoying to me that this has been happening lately when trying new products, or combinations of a leave in and styler and gel, or just leave in conditioner and a styling product. Am I using too much? am I using too much on a section? should my sections be bigger to accommodate the product I am applying. Yall any help will do. my hair has been off and in trying to restore it, with moisturizers and leave-in conditioners I am left with soft, light, moisturized hair, that smells amazing, but it looks awful and its shrinking.
Do you finish with a mousse? When I use any creams alone my hair dries out so bad but when I finish it with a mousse it's like it locks in the moisture perfectly.
@@taylornikii I have tried mousses that much. The only one I’ve tried is by roux mousse out product. I would be open to trying that so that those weird balls don’t appear.
@@LadyLuBz try a mousse and gel together and see if that helps any. I find that mousse can help with sucking up excess product so it doesn't flake. But always do the mousse last.

I love the Shea Moisture Manuka hair mask too.
I’ve been doing this for my wash and gos with my mousse too because it’s hot here in Florida and I like the longevity I get doing that 😊

How on earth do you do this without it leaving those little white beads of product behind?
Before you put the products in your hair. Mix a bit in your hands to see in they mix. I’d it curdles then they don’t work together.
It’s going to be white day 1! My hair is like that big dries and no more white just very moisturize

I’ve been hearing a lot about mielle lately is that a good hair product to use on your hair ? I want to try something new that works.
I'm very confused on why yall don't have 1M followers yet!
Do y’all ever want to try other hairstyles like braids, twist or weave?
Kelsy mentioned in one of their recent vlogs she wants to try knotlesd box braids.
They said a few years ago that they prefer their natural hair and they're not really into weaves, wigs. They don't like to manipulate their hair too much. If they do try something, they'll more than likely be using their natural hair. Like the person above said, Kelsey did mention knotless braids.
I would love to see them get braids.
Too much manipulation is why most people can’t achieve the quality of healthy hair these ladies clearly have. They’re correct in keeping it simple.✨
