I love that you share your skill and passion with your boy. Mine is still too young for that but I cant tell you how much I'm looking forward to it when the time comes.
It's the best! He loves his garage time and is starting to really learn how stuff works. I've got an even younger one that isn't even 1 yet and she loves the garage as well. Can't wait to get to teaching her.
Those particular rivets are not weather tight, but certainly much better than the puncture that was there. Small shot of clear silicone down the center might be a good idea. Child labor laws killed this country.
Good looking out. They're stripping out the interior so I'll tell them to put some silicone on the inside of the repair. Lil dab at each hole is a good idea, I'll do that next time. This kid has been using power tools since he was 1. Maybe I'll just tell the govt he is a very short adult.
Sadly no, it's a buddy of mine's Airstream. He bought a few for a project he is working on in Northern AZ, and I'm just helping with a couple small things on it.
It took 12 months for the first person to notice that and you are only the 2nd. I hate the feeling of seams so I sleep in them this way and sometimes forget to swap them in the am. You should try it, it's way more comfortable
Used your video, step by step and just finished a double patch job on a 97 Excella. Thanks for the instruction 🙏
awesome! glad it helped

Patch looks great! Well done video and great editing. Thanks for making these videos!
Seeing little man in there does my heart good. It's dusty in here.
Patches? We don't need no stinking patches. Oh good work from boy wonder again!
Great video and thanks for being a great father.
Good job. Only thing I would have done different would be, use a Cherry Max rivet or some kind that seals the center hole of the rivet better.
Thanks, I started using closed rivets after this. I didn't know they existed until a viewer mentioned them
@@AustinCoulson No problem, I used to do sheet metal work on US Army helicopters. You did great work.
@@dcummings7253 No kidding, were you a 15G?
@@AustinCoulson Well the last MOS I had was a 15U. But I was a Federal Technician full time at a guard unit. And did the sheet metal work.
@@dcummings7253 Crazy, I was a 15D
Great video!
What is the fastener you used
Awesome job.

@@AustinCoulson See if you can get some agriculture status. That's what my parents did ;-)
Thank you for this video!
Greets and new friend from the Netherlands
Hello friends! I checked out your video of exploring the abandoned military base. Love urban exploring!
@@AustinCoulson thank you so much my friend👍🏻
Is that your airstream? Love it!

What year and model is it?
@@rodfatherschopshop6004 not sure. Mid seventies I think and they said it's a 31 footer
Thanks! Another great video! Keep um coming.
I've got 8 spare minutes...
Your shirt is inside-out, is that the example you wanna give to the future generations? ;)
