Hi Chris, love your content and your positive outlook on life and people. Very naturally, people are trashing on the Dude because he apparently scammed you. But there is context to it. I am confident that this was a misunderstanding, when you asked him if you could "Drink" your kala khatta, he understood that you were asking for "Drink". That's exactly when he started to take you to get drinks. The guy was not sober to begin with, so Chris you and I know that it is a genuine mistake on his part. We've seen him interact with you in a previous video. He's a fine guy. Wish he wasn't drunk today.
I also think that he took him to a genuine shoe shop that had good stuff.

Chris you have to slurp the juice from the ice shaving after dipping the ice cone in the slush and not chew on the ice cone until it has melted properly and starts to become like a cold slushy later on, otherwise the cold ice will cause sore throat and pain in the throat later on, as the water they use on the streets is not filtered normally and it is raw ice. Also be careful of drunkards and scammers, I sometimes feel for your safety when watching your videos, you put yourself in danger for these travel vlogs, last time you got scammed by the overpriced spice seller after following him across many streets yourself 😅You should just tell them that you know your way around and they should go away sternly, instructing them to go away even if its done in a friendly manner, just laugh it off loudly so other locals are attracted and they feel uncomfortable following you then move on, even if they chase you for a while, they will give up when you mix with the crowd or enter a good store where locals can help you. Never ever buy alcohol for any person in India unless they are your known friends and can maintain their drinking and contain their behavior otherwise you put yourself in danger of theft or scuffles when they can't control their behavior.
