I have decided, after listening to Father Spyridon, Father Mar Mari Emmanuel, and the videos of this channel to bring myself and my family out of the wilderness of non-denominational "Christianity" and into the Orthodox faith. My dissatisfaction with my local American churches has been for years, but I never knew of an alternative. I knew in my heart Catholicism could not be correct, with their talk of papal infallibility and purgatory. I also knew that if Jesus had a church, I would run to it. And the more I learn, the more I realize that holy Orthodoxy is the root of our faith, and the true discipleship of the nations. This is Jesus' church. Praise God. I will do everything I can to embrace more about this faith in Jesus Christ I have called my own my whole life, but actually knew so little about.

Father Peter, I was saddened this week to learn many at my own parish view this position so negatively. I was accused of belief in not orthodoxy but "Dyerdoxy" (insinuating Jay and his "circle" as being a fringe ans rogue) when i voiced that Catholics according to many Saints are heretics, not merely schismatics, and that they didnt have grace filled sacraments.
Why the divide? And this wasnt someone uneducated. We are talking about a graduate of an Orthodoxy seminary taking what i thought were safe statements as being "outside of orthodoxy"!
What is going on here??
It’s the so-called “educated” amongst us who are largely driving sycretistic ecumenism. But this advocation of the pan-heresy is not by divine enlightenment but by worldly knowledge “about Christ.” Not an experience *of Christ,* following the holy fathers.

Fun fact about the Moscow Bishop, later cardinal who was at Florence, Isidore. He was arrested in Moscow shortly after returning, due to his selling out of Orthodoxy. He was later exhiled from Russia and returned to his Papal friends in the West.

One thing I am struggling with regards to the protestants, is that I know many who have a stronger relationship with Christ compared to that in the Orthodox faith. Do we know they are not saved? Or does it it look different for them? They have a relationship with Christ and pray through Him…
When it comes to the Spirit in the native tribes that have lead them for millennium…what is that? And lastly…coming from another Orthodox “all faiths are man made…so is Orthodoxy”. And shared a canon I will not mention here that surprised me… I would like more clarity on that.
What about the adoption of the new calender of 1923? How can it be that the fast of the apostles, which begins a week after Pentacost does not exist (every 7 years) in the new calelender as this day falls after the “29 th of June”. Is that not a step towards ecuminism?
It is and a sad one. However, the majority of Orthodoxy is on the Old Calendar. As always with the Church, God will heal us.

What changed at the synod of Crete kolymbari 2016.
Blessed are you Father! The divorce papers are signed by them when they sign the World Council of Churches papers. And also many other documents they signed here and there. Well, our beloved Christ didn't sign them. Do you know when a woman presents divorce papers to a husband, throws them in His face, and tells him - I am divorcing you, please sign the papers. But the loving husband didn't want to. He wanted His wife back. So He was begging her to return. But she wasn't willing. "Sign them, sign them! I am not returning", she said. So after many years, He is signing the papers too. The time for repentance is until 2024 for some. ROCOR must return or they will be dried out too. He signed the papers.
So, where's this 2024 prophecy you keep mentioning?
Also, if you don't mind, who's your Bishop?

ROCOR must return where it was standing - outside of ecumenism and sergianstvo. They went under their own anathemas by joining MP. St Nektarius of Optina said the time for repentance is until 2024. My Bishop is Demetrius of GOC and my spiritual father is from ROCOR.@@nicodemuseam
ROCOR isn't part of the Assembly of Bishops in the US anymore, isn't part of the World Council of Churches either, baptizes converts as akrievia. Instead, ROCOR is walled off in the Church. They're not going to schism.
ROCOR is destroyed by MP. They are one. Or do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body with her? For “the two,” He says, “shall become one flesh.” But he who is joined to the Lord is one Spirit with Him. They should move out of Babylon if they don't want to face the same punishment. @@LadyMaria

The World is in union of sin for salvation. Maybe we could admit unity on that measure. Unity in the fallen world. A grim but perhaps necessary end for the desired union. Hmmmm...

Because of the Synod of Kolymbari in 2016 Crete are our Bishops not now commemorating the Pope and thus our Bishops in heresy and therefore we should not be commemorating them either as they are in heresy, therefore we need to be in APOTIXISI ?
Where are they commemorating the Pope? That's very concerning.
@@LadyMaria at the Synod they accepted and agreed that acknowledged other 'Churches' as such and also that Catholics mysteries are valid - thus we are communing from the same cup
@@sammyog3475This is misinformation. The fact they called other churches as "churches" doesn't give them authority nor apostolic succession. In this sense JWs too are a "church". We didn't "recognize" nothing.
And we are absolutely not united to the Pope nor commemorating him in our liturgies - the council actually said that if reunion happens it can only be through his repentance.
Please read the council and not what they told you it says. Don't give in to fear and spread terror and hurt souls.

Wanna go to all the dilusional priests and bishops nearly throwing out other priests for not injecting into themselves a not approved poison aka vaccine? Dont think to high about yourself people, lots of wolves seen as sheeps in the orthodox rows, take russian patriarch kiril which sends so called christians to war and prays for victory, is this christian attacking people you do not even know?(doesnt matter if you think the enemy is wrong doing)
