This is probably the best "how-to-use" video I've ever watched! All the need-to-know stuff delivered without useless chatter!
I bought this nail gun as we were planning to renew all the fencing in our back garden. As this involved 19 double slatted fence panels, 10 of which needed to be cut down in size, we knew there would be a need for a great ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxHQsUrwNr5GQrnx9V4xDdUr56qxwuiBHt deal of re-stapling the wooden slats to the wooden framework. Each alteration required the re-stapling of 62 wooden slats with double staples. Prior to starting the work we ordered sufficient additional staples as per the instructions with the gun.The gun performed fantastically throughout the entire project with no jams of misfires. The adjustable power was excellent allowing the staples to be fired into the 8mm slats to the correct depth. For the price paid this was a bargain and it proved itself to be so reliable and versatile making an arduous task much quicker and professional. I cannot recommend this product highly enough and it will be used on many other projects in the future.
Why do I all the sudden want to make a board and batten accent wall? I’m going to pick up Brad at the Depot and get to work. Thanks Shannon for another great video!
Ohhh! This is the tool for that! You can totally do it! High fives for being inspired. I think we need a video for that project. 😄
That's exactly why I'm here watching this video. Making my first board and batten wall in my first child's nursery. Building while pregnant. 😅💪
Thank you for making this so easy to understand! I love that we wouldn’t need the air compressor to use this nailer!
This is the tool that brought me in to ryobi back in 2014 2015 , i thought it was only going to last a few days , well the jokes on me because it is now 2023 and it still working !!! I purchased 3 last year for my workers , ryobi thank you for keeping affordable prices !!!
Thank you so much for this video!! Obtaining tools little by little and have never used a nail gun, this video was so easy to understand on how to load and use, thank you!!
So i just ran in the depot and bought 5 ryobi tools and didn’t know how to use any of them! Thanks for the videos!😊
You are so helpful for my new nailer. Thank you lady!
Wow! A great product, and great demonstration! Love all my Ryobi tools.
Thanks Eugene!
I really didn't know the differences and appreciate the detail of this video. Thanks Shannon.
You are so welcome, Paul!
Another thing to mention .. shooting 2 nails at a 45 degree angle from opposing directions will add some strength. This helps reduce materials that cup or bend from coming lose over time
Great tip! Thank you! Happy building. 😄
True, but I haven't found this to be possible with these Ryobi nailers. Have you? What's the trick? It seems as though the nose needs to be perpendicular to the board in order to shoot the nail.
@@andreav2125 Just hold the nailer at an angle and push on it a bit. Works fine with mine
This was extremely helpful. It got us up and going!
Great demonstration. I want one for my larger craft projects.
My first Ryobi video watch.
A straightforward and informative video.
Thanks so much.
Those instruction manual typefaces are evil.
thank you again, I am really appreciating your videos
Thank you! I appreciate you taking the time to let us know! 😁
Great product, cordless is great! 💚
Bought one and sold my small Compressor and air nailer & I'm never going back!
Great tool and convenient!
I love Brad 😍 and Shannon’s videos!
Brad is simply amazing! 😂How did he even win the rights to his own nail? I want a "shannon nail!" Thanks for watching!
You nailed it!
This was a great easy to learn from video.
Thank youuuuu❤❤❤❤❤
Big fan of this one
It is my favorite... but don't tell the other tools. They may get jealous!😂
so cool 👍
I love these videos, my vote would be for the next one to be on the Multi-tool
Thank you for your kind words! What kind of projects do you typically work on in your home/work?
I have the older model 18v brad nailer and just bought the one + HP model. I can’t get it to fire. Does it need a different battery than the older 18v battery?
This is one great tool of many I've purchased. Used this for a 1x2 trim close to the ceiling for led lights. Ryobi is awesome!
That is awesome! It is such an amazing tool and I love hearing how it has really helped you with projects using that 1x2 trim. :)
@@Madebyshannonevans Thank you Shannon for these great videos. Love all my Ryobi tools. Have a great week! 😀
When is the nailer on the left the (Brushed ) tool going to be available it has been saying coming soon on your website forever now.
My P322 arrived today, but it does not work with my old P102 battery (fired one nail and stopped working). The manual does not mention battery type or size. What is the recommended battery size or did I just receive a bad unit?
I have the older version of the 18 gauge brad nailer and it’s been great. I’ll probably upgrade to the HP version, but I wish it had two led lights like the older version instead of one.
That light is really awesome, especially considering how the older I get, the more light I need to see what I am doing!🤣
@@Madebyshannonevans That’s why I need two lol.😂
Can I use any type of brad nailer or only ryobi nail???
Do you need to oil them.. thanks
Bought a airstrike last night and it will not shoot any nails. Tried everything. Makes the windup noise but nothing comes out. Suggestions?
Is there a way to bypass the safety feature on the end of the nailer that keeps you from shooting a nail in at an angle? Like on hexagon shelves? I need another person to hold back the safety feature while I’m holding the boards and pressing the trigger. Thanks!
can someone pls explain why you need BOTH an air pressure dial AND a depth of nail adjustment??
I’m so happy to see this tutorial. I just got my first brad nailer and didn’t know it had the brad remover. It also made me not so scared of it. Now I need the miter class.😁
Look at you! What did you get the nailer for? Any specific product? It really does have such great safety features built right into it, so I am glad you found your confidence in using it. I am proud of you! I hope we can bring you that miter class someday!
@@Madebyshannonevans I’m starting to repurpose furniture. I picked up a piece the back was falling off of and found a deal that had the Ryobi brad nailer and compound miter saw together. I’m scared to death of the miter saw so will be watching tutorials.
@@calgal8915 I love that! One tool can totally change something from being useless, to being useful! I hear a lot of people say the saw scares them. Your operators manual will go over so many helpful safety tips, but I would love to help you get comfortable with it. The most important thing is unplugging it as you poke around and look at how it works. Get familiar with handles, switches, knobs, anything. The more you know, the less scary it will be for you. Start small and just make a few straight cuts until that fear is identified! :) I am here for any advice or help you need.
@@Madebyshannonevans thanks much! We’ll see!
Omgggg need one of those
I see that cute puppy looking at me in your pic and I feel like they are agreeing... you totally need one! I love it!
@@Madebyshannonevans 😂😂
You really need to cover the depth of drive adjustment wheel in detail though.
Just picked this up at HD and plan to use it to install shoe moulding for the first time! 🤞🏻 Any tips? Thanks!
Wear your safety gear and have fun!
how do I get the black plastic thing in the walls to hang my tools?
But how do you choose which one 🧐
Can you use staples in the spread nailer? If so, do you know what range of sizes it will take?
No, gotta use a dedicated tool for that
Need more details to use the adjustments, why can't this happen?
Mine will only do one mail before the lights flash. Only way to get it to do another nail is to remove and replace the battery. Battery is fully charged. Can’t figure out why it’s doing this.
Help! My nailer is shooting blanks. It's full of nails and my battery is charged. What should I do?
How different between p320 and p321?
Another thing to mention is that it WILL NOT work with 2Ah batteries. I have fired one nail off with a 2Ah battery then, the low batter light flashes. Put in a 4Ah battery and it works until the battery is dead. Luckily I had a 4Ah batter from my blower to put in this, or I would have been dead in the water. I have the Ryobi P322 Brushless.
I just bought one. My first time using a Brad nailer. The first nail was perfect but then it stopped shooting. It makes an air sound but no nail. There is no jam. Nails are in correctly. What else should I try?
Pon un poco de aceite 3 en 1 en la flecha qué dispara y listo
Hellow where do i buy here in Philippines 🇵🇭
why can't we use the common 4ah 40v battery?
I used this for siding and I cracked the siding in several places even after adjusting the air dial and nailer settings. She didn't show the safety feature properly should Plug out the battery and the nails otherwise the spring will push the nails upward.
Yesterday I was using my brad nailer and it fell and broke the tip 🥺🥺 how can i fix it?
Hey, Charlie! Please contact our customer service department at 800-525-2579 for assistance.
Wait! Total beginner here. The nail loading part was way too fast! Im looking for another video to slow down there.
Is this the Shannon Evans from Nailed it DIY?
It is!!! She's like really famous now. Surprised she's not verified on Instagram yet.
That is me! Where are you from? Nice to meet you!
Shut the heck up. I did not know this. I have this and love it
When Flat vs Angled magazine useful? So many models, why?
Why is the light not coming on and the battery is saying full?
I HAVE ONE 😁
That is awesome! What do you use it for most? Tell me about your projects!!
You couldn’t have explained what all the buttons and stuff do? You don’t put manuals on your own site for some reason except the Australian one.
I just took mine out of the box and it's not working. One nail comes out every 6 trigger pulls. The nail comes out shallow too. Help!!!!
Hi, Joshua! Have you been in touch with our customer service department?
Could also try a bigger battery and make sure it has a good charge.
Spent 3 days working. Building a deck, doing some roofing to afford the ryobi package from home depot. Spent 2 days off work researching the best deal for my needs with the packages ryobi has at home depot. Boy, talk about alot of good deals and great kits. Problem is bags zipper is missing a tooth. The zipper bent in half when I tried to open it. Then the crate set a 3 piece item was only one. 3 teir stack unit is missing the medium and standards box. Now ryobi wants me to drive 20 minutes each way to return the item so they can reorder the same item and drive back again to make sure its right. So my "deal" s now paying full price. Makes me want to return it and never try ryobi. Ive never owned a tool and this is a horrible experience. A day off starting projects turned into a ryobi nightmare.
I'm Shannon too
Unload remaining nails before opening the jam release should be said for those who don’t regularly use tools. Many of us know that based off of our prior knowledge of tools and working, many people buying these haven’t used many other tools before. Don’t be mean lol
You missed an important point on installing the nails on which direction the nail head should face.
Half the time I try to use this thing it does not work, even though the nails are in correctly, would not recommend :
Can I use this nailer even tho my names not Brad?
!
Brad has given us all permission to do so!
There is no feeling cool when I walk in with my lime green tools. OMG please change the color.
Pity she didn't actually "press the button at the end of the magazine" to reload the nails. There is no button.
Telling me how to load it does not SHOW me how, this did not help AT ALL!
Videos are good for DIYers but my god… did you SEE the DAMAGE just the FIRST SAMPLE OF DRIVING A NAIL BETWEEN the trim caused to the column piping? I mean… how in hell could they put that in this video as an example to demonstrate ? Otherwise good basic instructions
She loaded the nails so fast I couldn’t follow.
This video lacks serious warnings and instruction. More of a sales job than help. She opened the jam release and I followed suit, only to have the Brad nails jump out at me. Off to find a safer, more informative video 😐
Same thing just happened to me 😂
This literally happened to me just now and I got a huge cut on my eyebrow! I gotta start reading the comments before watching the video
yep, that got me too. I consider myself lucky that I learned this lesson early on. From now on, battery is out and mag open before going anywhere near the mechanism.
@@michaelpatrickfilms You also got to start wearing safety glasses.
Yes, PPE, eye protection is a must. Anytime I make cuts, sand, regardless of how small the job is, I always protect myself. Don’t learn it the hard way
世界で販売しなければ宝の持ち腐れでしょう😢
I’m just a “guy” - you know, “he/him” but I think the video would be more enjoyable if Shannon was in a simple black cocktail dress. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely respect her knowledge of nailers.
I found this video useless.
Do NOT BUY!!! Worst nailer on the market!!!
This was a complete waste of time. Useless.
Completely worthless video. DEI at its finest. Wanted to learn how to load it and all I got was how cool I will look carrying it around. 🙄
If you’re in maintenance, you can’t go wrong with Ryobi. If you’re in construction…. Not so much. I just broke my Ryobi nailer by over-torquing the air pressure adjustment dial. It’s plastic. Don’t buy one of these if you need it more than 4-5 times a year. Otherwise it’s great
What she kn about tools ⚒️ 😂😂😂 western countries
This was extremely helpful. It got us up and going!
