- Tanzanian President Jakaya Kikwete, told tales of about Nelson Mandela's African travels. Kikwete spoke of how Mandela was as much a leader to Tanzania as he was to South Africa. He said Madiba left behind a vibrant legacy and South Africans should follow in his footsteps.
I am proud to be a Tanzanian for today the whole world was reminded the hard work our late president mwl. Jk contributed in the freedom of South Africa and most of the southern African countries. This knowledge was not known to most of Africans and even the S.A citizens. Rest in Peace a true Son of Africa. It's a pity our generation lacks such inspiring people. In a world field with greed, corruption and violence, we truly need to live by the examples our fore fathers like Mwl J.K and Madiba have left....
Tanzanians are very humble and friendly people and Tanzania is also known for PEACE and it is highly respected in S.A.D.C; A.U and UN etc. b'se of it's commitment for the liberation of other African Countries until today. Tanzania fought for the independence/liberation of S.A, Madagascar, Mozambique, Comoros, Zambia, Mali, Malawi, Namibia, Uganda etc. and recently Tanzania and South Africa through MONUSCO kicked off the M23 in DRC. Much Respect to Tanzania and its 1st President Mwl. Julius Nyerere! God bless Tanzania! Good work President Kikwete for reminding South Africans and the world!

This speech has proven why Kikwete is regarded as the current best president Africa has got. Well done!
I hope u realize Kikwete was just narrating what Nyerere achieved and his fight to liberate Africa. Almost 10yrs in office what has Kikwete accomplished besides corruption and traveling the world begging for aid.

Hii ndio itakayomfanya Mh Dr Jakaya Kikwete kupata uenyekiti wa AU. Historia ya mchango mkubwa wa Tanzania ktk ukombozi kusini mwa Afrika. , Uwezo wake yeye mwenyewe akuwa Rais wa kupatanisha Wakenya, utalamu wake wa mda mrefu ktk siasa za kidiplomasia Afrika na duniani na hasa uwezo wake wa kumeneji international conferences. Hata mchango wake kuchangia majeshi yenye nidhamu ya hali ya juu ktk kulinda amani uN.
Watz daima tusisahau kuikumbusha dunia na Afrika mchango wetu wa hali na mali ktk Ukombozi wa Afrika. Halimuwa jambo dogo. Wakati tukihangaika na kutoa michango ya hali (uhai) na mali majirani zetu waliendelea kujenga uchumi wao. Daima tuwakumbushe ndugu zetu hawa mchango wetu ili kuendelea kujenga umoja.
