Man they really lowered the details on these dolls. I loved the old ones! The lack of articulation and printed clothes kills this line for me.

The Supergirl has that strangely wide head. Besides her face expression is psychotic. Bumblebee looks like she is very scared. A big "no" for me...
Jmdcupcake YT the reboot is actually the one that really got me into the series. Also, I think they're all cuter now, and there's less characters to keep track of.

Really wish they had elbow and knee articulation. I like the designs for the girls much more than the old dcsg dolls, but with less articulation I dont think ill pick any of them up

If they had better articulation and didn’t have painted on details they would be a must buy it’s so unfortunate that they have weak articulation such a let down after the first version of the dc superhero girls

Even though the size variation of this line is awesome, the face sculpts, clothes and especially the articulation leaves me wanting the older release back. i only have Supergirl and Batgirl from the earlier series. I enjoy their articulation, but it seems these days nicely articulated dolls aren't produced that much anymore.
HOWEVER. I really enjoy the new DC Superhero Girls series, especially in comparison to the previous one. I love that the character designs are so varied and the style just screams Lauren Faust. What I probably love most is that Supergirl gets to be more stocky and muscular. And punk-y!

😱🤗Finally froggy Post it the review and now, I can decide if I am going to buy them and I decided I'm not 😕 they got rid of the articulation the detail is gone the OG's was better 😌I might buy them for customizing and body swaps but that's the only reason😕

I own one of the older DC Superhero Girls (Frost to be specific, who I am sad is missing from this lineup) and these new dolls just cannot compare. Flat faces, 7 points of artictulation, its just sad. I'm a doll customizer and after Monster High's reboot and subsequent cancellation, I had to find a new doll line to customize, and DC Superhero Girls were awesome. Beaitifully molded faces, vast skintones from normal to unnatural, and even more articulation (not only did they have all the same points as the MH/EAH girls, but they also had torso articulation!) But now I have to find a new new line, because these are just substandard. 😒 It seems like everytime I find a doll line I like, they swiftly get replaced with a lower quality reboot or cancelled altogether.
Totally understand, I customised a Starfire doll and she was a treat to customise, especially with the muscle definition, these reboots are a miss for me
