I feel you on the ‘always being a loner’ part I also am and was the same I never hung out with friends after school, I’m pretty much still the same today.

My favourite Dean Koontz book (not that I've read them all, it's just one I remember from the past) is Watchers. Have you read that one? It's ace!
I’ve read so many it’s hard to keep track 😂 I’m fairly certain I have that book which means I probably read it once upon a time.
@@Gunsyboy Well the main feature of the book is there are 2 dogs in it (escaped from a lab I think) one is Good and the other is Evil but both are highly intelligent. That's all I remember about it as I don't have the book anymore, unfortunately. By the way, I'm surprised you didn't mention Stephen King, seeing as he's from your neck of the woods, so to speak.👍

My parents divorced when I was very young. My dad got custody of my brother and I. Work brought him to Maine and he had a house built here.
