After 3 hours my wife walked by the living room and said " Are you still watching those guys?". I told her that it was a late-night special episode. That was a great one.👍
No comments here, so I guess this won't work, but I still think James should auction his generators. Together with Jason, as I hear here. You could trademark them as 'Improved By Condon'. Make millions. :)
I think he’s just too busy to bother. We all work full time and mainly do this to share information so that others can fix things and do it safely. Thanks for watching!
I realize this session is complete but I have to ask and hope for a reply In using a waste oil forge can very old and useless gas with the waste oil with the intention of extending the amount of waste oil to burn?
@KensSmallEngineRepair first of all thanks! I scrolled down to a person who used 20 yr old gas in a mix with waste oil and said it worked the same. No hotter but it worked James Condon stated in one of his videos about aged gasoline that it was no longer flammable. My thoughts were that the old gas would add volume and act as a thinner for the waste oil in cooler temperatures. I still dont know the answers but I think I can try without burning the place down. Those online get togethers you have can get very complex but I manage to learn a few things in spite of the complexity. 😄
My question is I saw a youtuber made a comment in regards to When you're running house power from a generator to tune the generator to accommodate the house power frequency And also the Engine speed to match the house power. Or would it be better to just get a Voltage stabilizer to the generator and then to the house.
Your generator is designed to operate between 58 and 62.5 HZ for speed and 125 volts no load 245 volts no load. As you add load to the generator the speed will drop accordingly. A voltage stabilizer refers to a lot of different things, but I believe you meant a voltage regulator. It's a device where if the voltage jumps too high it will switch to a different tap bringing the voltage back to a normal level and if it's low it will boost it up to a safe range. If the voltage goes beyond the safe range it shuts down. These are great for sensitive electronics and is cheap insurance as when a heavy load starts on a generator there is a momentary drop in speed and voltage before the engine can recover. There are large 240 volt automatic voltage regulators but they are very expensive. You would be better off just making sure that your generator is properly maintained and putting protection on what needs it the most like sensitive electronics in case the generator runs into a problem.
Ken, watching here late, but you’re mic has some serious compression or “noise reduction” processing on it that makes your audio sound the worst of the four. It’s probably a very quick fix in your settings. Cheers!
Everything is built to a price point when it comes to the conventional direct drive portable generators. The majority of them are designed to be construction site generators where THD is not a big deal since they are running chop saws and other building equipment. Inverters are the superior generator type since they have very clean power and are fuel efficient as well as quiet.

I’m a devout James believer. Best generator man on utube!!
Oh,I missed the party from Poulsbo Washington, watching it as a video on UA-cam
He should try it at least once
@pdk79 I have several generators myself, new and fixed, you have to almost team up with someone to sell them after they are fixed
James, you could do a video on potato peeling and I would watch it.
Most people would. Thanks for watching!

I’ll ask Jim and Gary

I can’t find a UA-cam channel called uncle arch… what do I search for?

I'm curious...so many old gennies James have shown that have low THD..why the hell the new gennies..with modern tech have shit THD?
Why have we gone backwards?
Usually only the Inverter Generators have low THD

Sorry I missed this one
No worries Dave
Re-runs allow for bathroom breaks, Dave. This one is a 3.5 hour marathon.😁
