A simpler way was to tap into the fuse box under the hood. Use a diode''0 to 200 volts 1 amp'' bridge to the DRL fuse 22 to fuse 26. Your fog lights will come on at night with the head lights. You could have also taped into the FOG OR HEAD LIGHTS to trigger the 30''led bar lights. I was going to do what you did and drill holes in the dash and hunt for a power sourse chop the factory wiring for the fog lights but my common sense took over.

Wish we were closer,,, I'd ask you to do this to my Daytime running lights on my 06 H2 Hummer,,, I'm kinda nervous about doing wiring like that, it's really not my thing..... wish it was though.....
i replaced my interior lights the same way, but for some reason they arent as bright when you switch them on as they are if i were to turn the car on or roll the switch for the dome lights . does anyone know why this is happening?

I have a h2 06 I replaced the headlights and the daytime running lights with LEDs and then I added led turn signals but the signals only work when the headlights are off so It will work in the daytime but at night nothing it's the led turnsignal housing not the led bulb i replaced
@@rawgadgets ok , now i have another problem i changed to leds inside of the h2 and the map lights the right side i put it in the wrong way then put it in the rght way and it worked but when i was putting the reflector in and the bulb at the same time i was moving it alot and now it dosent work the left side works fine i think its a fuse but i cant fine where its at

Did the same to my 2005 H2 but my light bar is 52" wireless. Also put led headlights. Great video man.

Put the LED bar on the hood by the (cowl) windshield & the top of windshield by the roof....like most do...i want to see the look.

Have to use a Relay when: Doing your own Switch/Harness. For the LED Bar as well.

Was a custom install years ago. Took out the foglights (3157) and custom installed 9005 Cree LED Type. Interior 194 LED Bulbs.
