@@akazatextingstories The reason he's relateable, besides being an everyman, is because he's basically a blank slate for player to immerse themselves in. I mean especially in RE7. He had no face, no personality, barely spoke and was in first person, so of course that'd make Ethan the easiest for players to put themselves into because that was half the point of the character. I mean in a way even Miles from Outlast 1 had more character, if you read all the notes he wrote during the game. But because there's not really anything to grasp onto, Ethan turns out to be such a nothing character that I don't really care about his goals. Not really a regular man but yeh
Sacrificing yourself to save your child is the greatest feat of all time even out of fiction
bro the power of dad is stronger than we imagine💀
I'm sure being a walking corpse with inhuman regeneration also helps
Ye😢
النهاية بطله للاسطوره ايثان😢❤
Dude even came in his daughter's dream to save her 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
Actually It Was Another Dimension Idk Did I Get It Wrong
@@Itemarcorrect
this man was committed to everything he loved, a true family man.
"It's enough to make a grown man cry"
after so many years i've cried after completing this game
Ethan- Sacrificed himself to save his daughter, also revived himself to save his daughter.
This father can do anything for his daughter.
"When you become untouchable youre unable to touch" as his hand was falling apart was perfect
Masterpiece Of Capcom
The definition of father
Ethan is such an underrated RE character its so sad they killed him off😭 he was really growing on me
Ethan literally was living legend. Mad respect for all he had done.
The dad every father should strive to be
Ethan saved Resident Evil
There is one thing we need to know about Ethan, is that, even though he sacrificed himself to save his daughter, he never stopped fighting and stopped at absolutely nothing to save his daughter.
Now that is one hell of a dad.
A dad that never gave up.
Which is why Ethan winters will be the strongest protagonist for me...
Yeah, he was basically immortal because he was the mold
Leon, Chris, or Ada would dispose of him like any other BOW
@@ZGh0st1422 And he would stand back up again. Nothing beats the will of a father...
@@Bigboi69735 such a dumb response 😂
@@ZGh0st1422 It might be for someone without a father...someone like you
He was a hero and a good father 😢
*gets his hand cut off*
Ethan: Hell no
*pours some water*
I guess we can call that dad is superhero, literally.
He became from nobody to a chad 🗿
@@28md.shafiquilislamsajid81 yessir
Now that's a good idea
Ethan casually putting his limbs back on after they get chopped off is insane enough
I mean he's already a corpse before the first stapling
Ethan Winters is an amazing father and fighter. My top 3 character of all RE franchise 😊
Ethan winters the man who f'd up em all in just 2days
I love Ethan bc at the end of the day he does all this shit just being a regular dude and a dad
His sacrifice made me cry
Bro is a FUCKING menace to the monsters i love him man
Ethan. The ultimate dad!
Can we all agree ethan is a straight up badass
This guy is the true definition of literal zombie but more guts and persistence.
Leon and Ethan, the best in the whole franchise
I like Ethan because no matter the hell and torture he went thru he still kept pushing to save his family
The true gigachad of gaming
Ending scene still hurts to see
Even after his death he still protected his daughter he has the strength only a father who loves his family could have
Ethan is the greatest father i ever play
Ethan Winters is the ultimate soldier, bro rest in peace, Ethan Winters🙏
That's a real dad right there
Bros the definition of Hope ❤
The word Father gives its meaning "To Protect"❤
Man went through hell for his daughter absolute Chad
Please someone tell me? WHY IS ETHAN SO HATED like why don’t people like him? Ethan is my favorite character in the resident evil series. I know that’s a unpopular opinion, but when he died I wanted to cry 😭
Aside from a relatively flat personality at times, I personally had no problem with him. Boy had a family. A loving wife. And died twice for those he loved (even if first time wasn't intentional.) He went through Hell twice for those he cares about. Gg Ethan ngl
People are just fan of unrealistic characters
Ethan's story is better than Leon or Chris he just needed more sequels
It has all to do with the new RE fans who are basically Twitter incarnate “Ethan is a boring white straight man while lady d serves cunt and is girlboss or Wtv tf”
@@Adahy_Bulleti mean he joked around sometimes. his personality was completely normal. he reacted to situations how any other person would react.
@@arian41148there's no such thing as the concept of 'normal' but the issue that ppl probably have with Ethan is that he feels very artificial and plain...
Best character in the games❣️
I remember being sad about Ethan's death. He didn't deserve to go out like that, but at least he died in honorable way
People keep pointing out that Ethan is already mold, but that is more about endurance if I’m not mistaken. He still has human strength and intelligence, hence why he’d get a book to learn how to use a handgun efficiently as evident by the book in his house in RE8
This means that while he is very durable, it is still impressive what he’s able to pull of with little combat training. He’s also gotta have balls of steel if he looks at the giant form of Jack and thinks “I’m gonna shoot that.”
Yep
That last sentence though 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
if you cant die, its pretty unimpressive to beat anything
@@ZGh0st1422 High endurance ≠ unkillable. He definitely can die, he also didn’t grow his fingers back in RE8, so he can still be injured. I think the mold is more like a “second chance” at living.
@@SirLotl second, third, forth and fifth chance but sure, pretend the mold isn’t just plot armor until Ethan needs to die for the story’s sake, also he never grew back anything, he has to reattach it which is why his fingers wouldn’t magically return
The end literally makes so much emotional people cry😭
I believe he is the best protagonist in RE series.
Same
Not even close tbh
@@trustymccoolgalNot a bad opinion, Leon and Chris are core examples of that, but I find Ethan to be the best purely because of relatability. Of course, I don’t mean I’ve gone through what he has, but I think that in 7, he was a core figure in being an average guy like you and me defying the odds and coming out on top. I like that anyone could be thrown into Ethan’s shoes without needed experience like Leon or Chris
That’s just why I like him though, plus, he was the first RE protag I got introduced to in the series
Of course I played both 7 and 8 because they're really good games, but imo a better protag would be nothing but imporvement to the games.
Me too
Homie massacred an entire village worth of Werewolves within like a single day
And the best father reward goes to......... Ethan Winters!!!✨💗
