After a long 6 month wait, ICEBEAR, is finally 8 weeks old and available to be picked up! This is part one of our trek from Sacramento, California to Denver and Elizabeth, Colorado. I apologize if the video is a bit lengthy, but we wanted to show ICEBEAR's first moments in detail in his debut video so that everyone can get to know his clumsy, yet sweetest personality. I love Sammies and have since I was a child. My husband (fiance at the time) surprised me with my first. I used to breed them and owned three. They are an amazing breed. Intelligent, gentle, patient and affectionate. Great for families with young children. After I lost my sammie "Cody', I was so upset. My kids grew up and moved out. I lived alone and flew to see my mom a lot. I missed having a dog, so I found a pomeranian. My first tiny dog who looks a lot like a sammie. I adore her.

Samoyed dogs are cute when they are puppies when they grow bigger after 6mos. they will give you a hard time. Just be careful because when you walk them they are strong and they will pull you. They will walk you instead of you walking them. They shed a lot you have to brush them a lot. They want to eat anything they see on the street and they want to run after all the dogs, pigeons even leaves blown by the wind people etc. on the street. They are lovable but difficult to handle.
IceBear is 4 months now and we look back at this and think the same thing lol
@@arleenloza6172 there is so much truth to this that we have noticed thus far lol. But since we are at home all the time we are trying to stay on top of him with everything. They are lovable indeed and just need a lot of our attention.

Super cute he knows he will rule the roost. He looks happy 💞 and please remember that black top gets really hot so when walking him go when it's cooler in am ☺️💞 I can tell you will be a great Dad and Mom

@@habenmzs yes but if you look at how she is interacting with the dogs in general , there is just something about it that I just noticed and not in a good way .

he is such a champ, but i feel sorry for him, how unprepared you guys are.
I got my samoyed in June! his name is Koda. Do you have any tips on brushing/grooming he really doesn't like his brush and is sometimes even afraid of it.
There's another channel and she has lots of videos on tips and tricks on how to groom, bathe, etc. your samoyed I learned everything I know from her. The channel is just her name "kait" she has 2 Samoyeds and she is so helpful.

How has it been in regards to people wanting to pet him? Are people generally quite respectful or not?
When we say everyone, we mean EVERYONE wants to pet him. 90% are respectful and ask first! 100% of everyone just wants to give IceBear loves.

What dog kennel did you get your Sammie he's beautiful l had 5 Samoyeds in my life 2 were show dogs my male Nanook was a number one show dog in the country he won the 2004 National Specialty Samoyed Winners dog and Champion won BISS BOB his show name wa Ch. Spirit Of Light aka Nanook he was the love of my life.

Whoa did i hear woman say once a month a bath. Mayb show dogs but not pet sammys. Also sammys shed twice a year like she said but if u dont brush them regularly u will have touffys everywhere. Whrn sammys get dirty once it dries u can comb it out and they dont smell like other dog breeds.
They can make a clothing line or a beanie line from his hair! Lol
why would you vape by the dog, the smell will be very strong

@@edenyang5186 if the breeder is comfortable with it and so are they, it’s their house. They don’t have to wear masks in their own house. Also, it’s really no one’s business what they do in their house 🤷🏽♂️

You need to walk at least 10 miles a day with the dog. Backyard walk is sufficient only for a couple of months.
I can relate because Aussies are similar! I go on at least 3 hikes a week and we figured an Aussie would be a great fit for our lifestyle!

I was looking for a comment that said something. Especially for a breed like the Samoyed, they are very smart and certainly can hold a grudge. For any dog though that’s terrible.

The baby should be at least 3 months old when separated from his mother. It was so cruel to watch how this woman is holding the baby and his mother is barking outside the window. Such a cruel woman. It is clear this woman is taking the dog just to make some money from youtube videos. Hopefully no one will watch her videos.
