I just discovered your channel and I cannot be more grateful! I'm a reader. I love reading, and I've been at it since I was a child. I would read my books, and reread them countless times as I'm unable to get more because of how expensive everything is where I live. I enjoyed just going back and rereading my collection, like at least 10 times! each time, i would completely forget where my favorite moments/quotes are and those little details I'd just really want to reference or remember! I discovered annotation on tiktok, but all the videos of annotation tutorials i watched would just explain their annotation system (like, what each color stands for) but not actually explaining the process of annotation which was completely new to me, and I didn't understand that mine shouldnt look "aesthetic" only but actually be useful and personalized to me so i can benefit from it :) your annotate with me videos are so relaxing and motivating to watch! I'm not afraid of directly writing on the margins anymore which is a great achievement for me ❤ although, something i find strange about myself (at least, I havent seen people do) is i like reading the book twice, once for actually reading it and the second time for rereading and annotating. I enjoy it more that way haha

For those of us brand new to annotating, it may have been better just to have gone through chapter one reading it and explaining why you annotated each part. I know all of us annotate for our own reasons. However I think it would be great for someone to show how they annotate and what that person gets out of the story. I hope this makes sense
Yes I absolutely get it! I do have some videos where I go in depth about my annotating process. This specific video was just me bringing you along as I prepared an order, so I didn’t dive deeper into it, but feel free to take a look through my other videos! I hope they’ll be of some help😊

Thank you so much!! I make all of my bookmarks myself, from start to finish. So I drew the design myself, printed/cut/laminated etc. I sell them on my website, but we are closed for the holiday season!🥰

I really thought that I could LEARN annotations through this video but honestly I didn't... I couldn't even see the ages and all.... But I guess it would be nice to buy one of the books annotated by you ...
I do have some videos where I actually talk about how I annotate, which would be much more helpful! These are more like read with me/ASMR type videos for background ambiance than a tutorial or how to😊
