Just wondering but do you know what has happened to the cross country services from Oxford/ Reading to Newcastle and do you think that they will return into service later in the year or not?
Well CrossCountry have been running a reduced since 1st lockdown and unfortunately at the rate things are going normal service is not likely to return to normal timetable for some time.

Do you know why the class 387 doesn’t operate here?
It’s non electrified between Didcot and Oxford which would have been if it wasn’t deferred in 2016 by cost overruns of the GWML electrification
