Couldn't agree more with your opinion about the titanium and size of the Demko Knives
Textured Titanium with Magna-Cut AD 20.5 with the Sharksfoot blade would be pretty sweet. A factory deeper carry clip would be nice too.
Bought the grivory 3v and added demco carbon fiber scales with stand offs really like that.

I may sound strange, but I like that titanium AD 20,5 even more than U.S. original.

DLT, on a livestream, said that the factory was reluctant to do Cruwear, a steel with which they have no experience and so is more prone to error for them, but that they are talking abiout another steel now. Some of the Bark Rivers on DLT are exclusive, like the PSK EDC (PSK = personal survival Knife) is an exclusive pattern, I think. The knives are beautiful - I am getting one for Father's Day, and I picked one up for my wife as well.
Got the 20.5 sheep's foot in 3v from knife center and I got to say I've put down most of my knives and carried that ever since.
Hands down one of the best EDC knives going around.

Got mine a couple weeks ago. Dremel a ramped back shape to the finger notch so the lock doesn’t rub the fingertip raw and put on a lynch deep carry clip and it’s a fantastic knife.

Bought one of these a couple weeks back, and have been loving the 20.5 the whole time. Was glad they finally made one of them in a good steel.
The Heat treat they put on it is awesome too, I've been beating on it at work and it's still sharp enough to shave off pieces of paper.
I bought that knife center exclusive 20.5 and have to say I do love it. Feels much better than my grivory version
I like like full ti 20.5, but I’m waiting on the mg ad20. I don’t care how long it takes. I already have a 20.5.
Saw your review a couple weeks back which put the 3V Ti on my radar, and then was lucky enough to snag one on the secondary market last week. I'm SO glad I did, because shark lock + Ti scales + 20.5 size is like my PERFECT EDC. Not only is it the King Fidget in the collection, beating out my well broken in PM2 and my Real Steel Griffin, but the full Ti scales give it an IMMENSELY satisfying sound. Plus the 3V means I'm not afraid to actually USE IT!
I got the AD20.5 Ti & they shipped to the UK 🇬🇧! Shout out to Knife Centre! But I prefer to smooth Ti, it’s Awesome! 🤩🤩🤩
I haven't bought a 20.5 specifically because of the smaller size. I like the MG AD20 size.
That bark river aurora is my favorite camping knife. I got one in cru wear from DLT of course. Would like to see how that magna cut version performs.
Got the Ti clip point, immediately threw in skiffs and it’s insanely smooth now. It’s my first CPM 3v and I can’t believe how semi-stainless it is. I can’t stop carrying it
its insanely smooth with the stock bearings. never felt the need to change them
@@Nofkuyoutube oh trust me, skiff bearings in knives take pretty much any mid tier knife to the next level, it’s a pretty cheap mod to so you can’t go wrong

Oh man the sound on that titanium! Really all of them, but the titanium version is just muah *chefs kiss* oh so nice. I think this is my kind of ASMR.
I got a 3V 20.5 as well but I got it in grivory, ended up putting skiff bearings in it and using RGT marbled carbon fiber scales, also added a lynch clip… puts the price over the standard ti version but I really like the feeling of the fat carbon and skiffs so I can’t complain
When Andrew makes an ad20 here in Wampum PA, where does it go? Seriously, I have seen exactly 0 show up anywhere. Not a skinny, a full fat ad20. I’ve seen 0. Like im tempted to drive to the shop where there made and find out.

I love my 3v Ti AD20.5. Been carrying it religiously but I dropped it at work and have a dent/chip in the blade now so kinda sad
Love my 3v ti clip point and 3v sharksfoot with RGT bead blasted scales and backspacer. Demko also released carbon fiber and g10 scales as well as steel or titanium stand offs to eliminate the back spacer. Great video as always!

Oh hey MC, so I just used my Pro-Tech TR-3 at work today for the first time. Worked wonderfully, really liked the knife, coworkers loved it, but it deployed in my pocket _twice_ . Pretty sad about that, since that means I’ll have to return it. Time to wait ages for the MagnaCut version, haha
can confirm, 3v 20.5 is the first knife to cause me to shelve my k390 spydies for outdoor edc. very solid knife.

Yeah... I might need this in m4 if It happens. I've been carrying my m4 940 at work and it seems to be holding up very well.

I would like M4 but would also like some better scales which won't need lines. The liner less design with the larger pivot looks better all around. Doesn't need to be Titanium. Carbon-Fiber without liner would do as well.

I got a 3v 20.5 and I got some frag pattern aluminum scales from original goat for it. It is the perfect edc knife
I grabbed the same 20.5 from Knife Center and I luv it. I only wish I grabbed the sharks foot with the clip point blade that’s how good they did them. Also when you put some skiffs in this ti version the action improves dramatically better than any other 20.5 I’ve modded .

Check out his budget knife videos. Personally I’d just find a comfortably ergonomic style of knife like a Spyderco tenacious. You don’t really need supersteels for cardboard if you maintain your blades.

Yes they do. I got an ano fade clip for my 20.5. Bronze to purple to blue. Waiting for flytitanium to come out with g10 scales.
@@abc456f Demko released carbon fiber and g10 factory replacement scales at the same time the 3v versions dropped as well as steel or titanium stand offs to replace the grivory back spacer $5 for steel $15 fot ti.

titanium/3v ad20.5 is probably how demko shoulda made it the first time imo, sharks lock is great but the initial ad20.5 feels like a template of a knife, and now that you can get Original Goat titanium/aluminum scales its more attainable then ever...but tell me not, Demko was giving the middle finger to everyone when he made g10 handle scales available for this knife but had them msrp for 50$

Hey I have a USA made demko which i purchased about a year ago from knife center and still don’t understand the fascination so I’m willing to let it go. I’ve used it to just test cut paper once or twice and haven’t carried it at all but it has g10 scales and a drop point. I believe I paid $350 plus tax or something in that range but I know you guys are huge demko fans and I just don’t get it. Let me know if interested

Got my ad 20.5 ti today. Initially I was underwhelmed. Played with it and thought about it and now love it however I would really love the ad 20 size. The 20.5 was a little smaller than I expected. Do you think they will ever make a ad 20 oversees ?
A DLT textured ti in cruwear would tip me to trying one of these knives.

It's not discontinued. That's just Knifecenter's generic way of listing something specific that may or may not come back in exactly that variant.

So, I have that same titanium 20.5 and when you said MAN now I want one...I actually laughed out loud seeing you have the REAL DEAL right on the table! I'd NEVER carry the 20.5 if I had the MG!! :)
I have an MG AD20 Textured Ti in DLC 3V,, as well as the Ad20.5 all Ti. I love the full size, but the AD20.5 goes into pocket 90% of the time. I use both my G10 and Ti AD20 when doing some heavy work, but the super thin profile of the 20.5, 0.39" total, makes the AD20/6 melts into your pocket, imho.
As great as an OG AD20 is it’s such a big knife it wouldn’t be great to carry, the 20.5 is a much more ideal carry size for 90% of people

I'm celebrating.....lol....in all seriousness, I think you know where to look to get a fair market price as they are all sold out in this ti version....both are amazing blades, but go with the sharksfoot as the action is better in this configuration and feel; clip is a close second....I personally love them both. Awesome video!!!
We only buy the ad20.5's because he won't make the mgad20's. That and if you can't afford the ad20. But the mods are taking it above ad20's now and I hope I can get a ad20 in the next 80 years.

@@thrashingjustin I have the AUS10 version and it's the perfect EDC knife. Apart from the steel everything works just fine. Even the clip @metalcomplex likes to criticise. It's in and out of the pocked as fast as it gets. Inside the pocket it's barely noticeable. Blade shape and size to get most jobs done. The Grivory scales are comfortable enough.
The steel is the man drawback. While AUS10 gets the job done as well it's fairly weak and if get's into contact with harder materials (floor tiles, granite kitchen top, stuff you don't actually want to cut) it takes damage very quickly.
The steel is the only part in need of improvement. The rest is just optics. Nice to have but not needed.
Some things to note:
• The CTS-BD1 and FRN Para Military 3 isn't all that much cheaper. And any better PM3 is more expensive.
• I'm not American. Made in USA or made in Taiwan isn't much of a difference from my perspective.

Bark rivers are nice looking, but so over priced in my eyes. That civivi is sick though!

can anyone comment on the hardness/heat treat of their 3v ad20.5? mine doesn't hold up like I think 3v should, also the edge was two different angles when I got it!! is that on purpose?
got some Tero Tuf scales, highly recommend or just replace the grivory with anything and it feels way better

question is how much is the ti ad 20.5? cause if it’s actually 250+ it’s gonna be a pass for me. cause i can get aftermarket textured (which is better imo) ti scales for ~90, and then i have 2 sets of scales and textured ti scales in whatever texture pattern i want. like bruh 😂.
It's been sold out for weeks but you won't get 3v and ti scales in a Demko for 250 when the 3v and grivory are 190.
It was msrp of 315$. The knife center exclusive demko version has a way nicer pivot as well than the grivory and no steel liner. Way nicer than aftermarket scales

Lmao we’re patting him on the back for finally coming out with a version of this knife that’s actually worth the initial asking cost. People balk at D2 on a $20 budget knife but when it comes to Andrew Demko’s steel smegma, everyone eats it up like the price is remotely reasonable when it puts Spyderco’s delusions to shame.
With Demko knifes you pay for the locks. I find it more surprising that how much people are prepared to pay for YATF (Yet-Another-Titanium-Framlock) knifes. Doesn't get much easier than frame lock and they are cumbersome to use.

No you BUY them for the locks, you shouldn't pay through your nose for them. Unique locks are what makes knives competitive, but the price should at least reasonably reflect the quality of the materials. IMHO
Hyped prices really suck, especially when you add to that scalpers from the US who buy it all up and then sell it on eBay or Amazon for 30% or so more.
