A Stroll through Corralejo, Fuerteventura 2023

- This video is a casual walk along the main street through the resort town of Corralejo in the North of the second largest Canary Island Fuerteventura in January 2023.
Myself, Mark from Suncoast Productions based in Fuerteventura, and Cyan, aerial dancer and entertainer, both Fuerteventura residents, discuss the shops, the vibe and why Corralejo is a great place to visit.
This video is not intended as a review, just simply some helpful information about the town, especially for anyone who is coming here for the first time or after a long period of time.
Some footage has been added to the walk on this day to give a more overall feel of the resort of Corralejo, if you have any comments or suggestions, maybe for future videos, please get in touch, all details are at the end of the film.

Yes its true but sometimes its so easy to wander into the cycle lane, its the kamikaze scooters you need to look out for !!!!
Corralejo, most disappointing food ever. Burger King not great. What's with Canarian potatoes 5 Euros? Show them out of town derelict apocalypse buildings and abandoned shopping centres
Thanks for this video. I am going for the first time to Fuerteventura in 2 weeks for a holiday by myself which I am nervous about but it seems very peaceful and safe. I’m really looking forward to it

Hey Eskil, Thank you for your comment. Yes, i have been to Naples for a football match i do know this. I have also been to this restaurant and spoken to them and eaten there. They prefer to be referred to as Neapolitan restaurant rather than an Italian restaurant i guess that's why they have it in such large letters outside. It is a great place to eat and super nice people and i know what you mean !!!!! Best wishes.
Can I say thanks for a lot of useful information, I am due there at the end of February for the first time so this video was helpful. You will always get a decent amount of views for this type of video as people are coming out all the time and want up to date information, so if you are going to continue with this content can I suggest you upgrade to a 4k camera with image stabilisation or even a 4k camera phone with a gimbal to enhance the image quality and an external clip on mike with muffler (two if both doing commentary) as the wind there will hinder your sound quality greatly. The drone footage was good, and the overall content was very good, thanks again.

Just curious where this strange pronunciation of "corralejo" comes from? It's neither spanish or english? Is this some sort of local way of pronouncing it as like with many places in the uk...?
Hi Rob, thanks for comment it is appreciated. I am not pronouncing the word "Corralejo" very well at all to be honest, it is definitely not a local way of saying it. I speak some Spanish and i am from London. Cyan who is a Spanish speaker from Venezuela speaks the word a few times i notice and she says it precisely as i think it should be pronounced, unlike mine. We are going to make some more videos soon so i will be conscious of this in the future !!! 😃

Hi Roger, this is a nice resort, its about half a mile from the main strip but its a very nice walk or a very quick cab ride. The walk along the beach path to the centre is awesome and you are very near the Popcorn Beach shown in our video.
You are also very close to the El Campanario centre with its superb bars and shops.
You are in a great location for everything, have a great time !
Love it there - I don't think you'll regret it and it is not far at all from the main strip - don't miss the sand dunes which are accessible via a quick taxi ride or even by foot (we did it with 2 kids in 45 mins)
One of my favourite places in Canaries - would return there any time without a doubt. Love this video - keep it up!

Thanks for the video. Me and my husband are going for a 4 day trip this Saturday. First time to Fuerteventura I’m heading for the rock and roll shop and the bar too! Would probably not have found them without this video. 😊👍🏼

We are filming another one next week , but later in the day when day turns to night which is magical in Corralejo. Also it is Carnival time here and the whole town is buzzing as it always does for Carnival.

Is it bad for cockroaches?! be honest😮
Honestly, this is a tropical climate and a perfect habitat for cockroaches. Personally i dont see them as a problem at all, you see the occasional cockroach but they certainly are not a major issue in my experience. I rent out an apartment for holiday lets and i have seen one cockroach in 4 years and had no reports of more, but they are about thats for sure, just keep everywhere disinfected i think !!!!!
