Just shows we’re all brothers that don’t know each other yet. We are not enemies just strangers in a strange world where difference is encouraged instead of talking and being civil. Love your work brother TFS and I hope our young ones see this and know that showing good is not a weakness but a strength. The word “love” was said numerous times in this video and that’s what we all need. I’m a grandfather and my Moko is the most important person in my life now and I want him to grow into this Aotearoa as a man of Mana like you all show in this video. Much respect and love to all in this video, really appreciate you for doing this. Stay blessed brothers.
I lived in whangarei for 10 beautiful years , loved that place its humble regardless of the struggles people are the kindest of kindest of people in New zealand ,Loved the people , neighbour ,friends strangers high or not lol would give baskets of Kinas, muscles, an so on , people have good hearts there, Ive lived in nearlly every city except wellington, and that says alot about whangarei , Tumeke bro.
Whangarei....Shot for making changes for the better. As for me Whangarei the worse place to live? I lost my Son in Whangarei Streets. Bank St 13,62021. #ForeverHaze 💙💯
My hometown Whangarei, grew up with the old boys, the originals…….when you could party with all the clubs before they were gangs…..the good old days….. Cool podcast. Great survivors carrying the word. Kia kaha……respect…..
Much love brothers Dave and Rippa! Was good to hear and see some history from the streets of the far north. Your breaking the cycle brother Rippa! Inspiring! One thing i noticed from the bro Rippa was he told everyone he loved them. Aunty's, uncles, brothers, sisters, Tamariki! I'm strong on telling my loved ones that i love them! Fuckin much love brothers 💙
That was so good to watch. Back in the day OT was awsome. There were unwritten rules we all knew not to step over. It was safe to walk at anytime of the day or night around OT but when we did step out of line, we were held accountable for it. Thats what kept OT safe for all of us. I definitely have my own stories of growing up in OT, good and bad but the lessons I learnt along the way were gold. Our homestead is still in OT but I live in Sydney now. Been here since 2001. Seeing this makes my heart ache because OT looks way different now and when I do go home for a visit, the atmosphere is way different. Thank you for doing this. Its been a blessing to watch. I miss home alot, but the old way is what I really miss... God bless you brother and your ministry... keep shining Gods light in the dark valleys.. I pray that where ever you walk, Gods presence will be felt and hearts will yearn for His devine love. In Jesus Mighty Name... Amen 🙏 Keep planting that devine seed of Gods love, grace, mercy and redemption.. Salvation comes from JESUS 🙌🙏
All these visits shows just how similar alot of these "hoods" are around NZ and growing up in the hood in Gizzy makes these real relatable. Keep up the mahi 🙏
Awwwwww that was awesome. Bro ripper is doing amazing.. I love the aunty that prayed fr everyone she's pure GOLD....GREAT CONENT...stay blessed....God is ❤❤❤❤❤
Wow I can't believe how OT has changed we moved away from Whangarei 8 years ago for Kirikiriroa. My tane was born and bred in OT he remembers The Paiwhenua's Rua, Hopa and Pa. He mentions names like Houndy, Gypsy and a few others. I am from Kirikiriroa but moved up to Whangarei over 20 years ago and I loved it up there. Good to see positive changes happening we noticed the changes every time we visit Uncle at the homestead on WJD.
Wow used to live down friendship with my mom and brother. Aunty Merlin is a great love for me she saved us from some gang members on several occasions. What a trip down memory lane
Tena koe brother. My name is Anaru and first of all I want to say God bless you and your journey He has placed you in. Sharing your love of God and Jesus together with our brothers and sisters from the hood who now walk with Jesus is such a beautiful calling and a pwoerful example of Gods grace and power. Whangarei is my home town too. They too are my whanau whom also I am called to help lead to our Father God. My cousin was sadly killed at those flats mere meters from where you and the brother Rihari stand and although I cry inside for the loss of my cousin it also warms my heart and gives me hope to know that you and Rihari are there called by God to speak the truth and life upon these lands that bear the scars of the devils work. Praise the Lord. God continue to bless you and protect you and provide all you need to fulfill His will for you. Mauri Ora

Wowzer this is great! I was brought up in Raumanga till 10 in the 80s, then sent to boarding school in Remuera😂😳, was interesting how the perception of Gangs really changed in the early 90s. In the 80s no one told me not to f--k with gangs, you just knew ..& it wasnt because of any gangsta intimidation or anything braggadocio. Half my friends were from Gangs but the were the same as us, they never talked about it & we didnt even think of asking. A common word was 'Underground'. The 90s changed everything as Gangsta Rap took hold, all of a sudden there was nothing underground about it😂 Anyway an observation not judgement, spurred on by this video, I like how nothing is forced, just forced me to comment damn it🤓

I own land that used to belong to the maoris. They will never get it back. I sit back, put my feet up and enjoy every moment of it. It is a great feeling to live on land that used to belong to the maoris knowing that it really pisses them off. They can sing their songs and do their little haka dance thing but it won´t change a thing. They will never get the land back.
