On the note for locking the bolt back without the bad lever. If you have the charging handle back with your left hand, you can pull the rifle into your shoulder for support. then with your right hand, rotate it back and grab the buffer tube and charging handle. even if it slips a little, the edge of your hand will catch the latch. then just hold the catch down and pull the bolt back. not as simple as using the bad lever but still very doable.
To call it a TM MWS is perhaps stretching it a bit ;) Is there any TM in it at all? ;) Teasing you a bit, but you don't call all aeg´s TM either just because they use the same type of gearbox that TM invented :)
I just wanted to say - Sick build with this kit! I like that grip on the handguard and especially the Magpul grip! Is it the T8 version or was it a kit for the MWS?
Thanks brother this one is the Dytac kit, definitely nice quality and cerakote but much more spendy to build! These were the first n4 kits before they had all these complete ones available. Have heard mixed reviews on those
Aluminum buffer is a great upgrade- adds reliability over the stock plastic one, especially at high pressure such as during summer months on propane, with fps tuned up. Also adds recoil for a bit more fun, but keep it light for cold weather use for best performance.
Sorry didn’t see this notice! I recommend the guns modify one’s out of the 3 available.. though they each have their quirks. Stock mags are still the best but you should be fine with the gm’s. Have seen some ppl having the mag catch follower slip tho leading to no bolt lock

What spray paint did you use for Tokyo Maruti upper receiver and lower receiver?
This one is cerakoted, but I just use camo flat spray paint on other builds

Not sure but don’t believe so, I’ve never tried using real steel mag catches on the mws

Stocks are fine, I use real steel stocks on all mine. Mws come with commercial spec tubes so any comm spec/milspec stock will fit

That’s the somogear ngal, really nice laser/illuminator for airsoft use. Known to hold zero even with 5.56

Recommend a lightweight zet plate and/or retuning your buffer setup. (Heavier buffer, spacers as needed for travel)
