Three times the amount of cheese that he used. And I don't use the garlic. I used-three eggs for a pound of chop meat. And I fry them up really crispy. Keep in mind, veal can be somewhat hard to find in certain areas of the country. This show being made in NY/NJ, veal is very commonplace. Where I live (Midwest), veal can be surprisingly hard to find at common stores/supermarkets and you may have to go to a specialty meat store. For some reason even though lots of cows are raised here, it can be hard to find veal. But that's the key to a good Italian style meatball is that meat mix Larry uses.
Would be great if you made more of these kinds of videos, longer then the current videos and actually making some real good ;-) and from the views it looks like im not the only one that enjoys these videos more... Come on man, longer more informative vids and some actual real food like these amazing meataballss!! You rock Sal!!

They soaked the bread in water. When I make meatballs I soak my bread in milk...my ex husband was sicilian & this is how his mother made them, and they are phenomenal!
Made it last night. Think I made the balls a little too big, 7 instead of 9. My screw up. Left it a little too rare. Next time I'll make them a little smaller and add a quick sear. They tasted delicious though.

Hardly meat balls, looks like meatballs that were cut in half. Too much water in the bread, Sal ruined the recipe when he pushed all the wet bread in the bowl. Lost all change to keep them round.

almost same recipe as ours, but, we use chopped onions and sweet basil also, rest is the same. the best meatballs ever!
