Thanks, mine setup worked great.
Thank you so much but I need to find out y the tv is only playing one channel on the Roku tv
I have a Hisense Roku tv, that i cannot access tv input, hdmi input, xbox, etc, through settings, with my remote, any help, thanks
i looking to add a channel to the tv., is 3 or 4 for super Nintendo
Does Hisense have any channels it integrates into the OTA channels? Meaning does it include any channels from Pluto like the Samsung free tv , or LG channels?
Did all that w/amplified hdtv antenna . don't pick up any channels .
I'm losing my mine and might smash my TV! I go to settings and literally no channels selection even an option
Holy shit this pissed me off. So you have to go into the antenna tv “app” and then click a button for a different page of settings. On my remote it was a square with two lines and it looked like a Piece of paper. I’m not sure why this needed it’s complete own menu section. It’s almost like with you but TVs nowadays the last thing they expect you to use is the TV portion
Nice
Not helping pls help
How to re order the channel numbers it's in disarray.
girish domah if you figure this out let me know please!!!!
From my understanding of OTA and how it works.... the channel number you see on screen (after the channel is saved to the tv), is the channel number the signal provider sends out with the encoded OTA digital signal. Some channel providers use the actual signal/frequency number for their tv station, while others use a virtual number. Virtual numbers (which most of them use), are arranged in order from low to hi when saved, but actual tv signal/frequency numbers are not. This is a problem with the signal provider’s transmission/encoder signal. They may have forgotten to include the virtual channel number in their OTA signal. If the virtual number is missing from the signal, the tv’s ATSC receiver would not be able to display on the screen. You can try and use Google to find the customer service number (for the channel in question), to try and report the issue to see if they can fix it. In the meantime, there is nothing you can do (that I know of on your end), because it’s not an issue with the tv’s ATSC digital receiver/decoder.
My Roku Hisense TV was working fine showing Live TV local channels, then all of sudden when I try to watch local channels (live TV) it says "No channels found" after several scans, it still says "no channels found" after a whole tv reset, it still says no channels found. What gives?
This just happened to me too Fri 11.13.2020, after 3 different "HD" antennas, I went to DG, bought a $20 amplified antenna, (Dipole) and boom🧨... I have 11 channels found!
I have no idea why I lost channels and could no longer be found with the same antenna I had been using since I got the dang T.V....smh
Just bought the antennae this morning 11.17.2020 by GE
I have Hisense Smart TV and I have indoor antenna no adapter with it. I was setting it up but it's not working. My TV isn't showing channels! I did this step several times and still didn't work.
Can you help me with my problem?
Hi, I know it has been 2 monts but I have the same problem so I want to know did you solve it?
I have the same problem with Hisense TV, it worked on Samsung TV at the same location. Not sure what the issue is..
Wish i never brought this tv for a smart tv can't download apps piece of crap it is
I just bought the 55px OLED and I cant get any channels plugged into the antenna on the roof. my last tv had no issues?? what the fuck is going on hisense
First time, I used it for Samsung tv worked well but we got a new Hisense tv didn't work,
What is the name of the antenna
Jane Prince It looks like the “1byone” brand, which Amazon sells. If you intend to use an indoor antenna, look for their models with the local/distance switch on the little pre-amp box. Those models allow for some adjustment for too strong of an OTA signal, because too strong of a transmission signal could interfere with the tv tuner’s ability to lock onto, decode and save a particular channel. If the channel’s signal is too strong, you can easily lower it by pushing the switch to “local”. If you are having a problem trying to lock onto a weak signal, switch it to “distance” to help boost it.
Why does my Hisense tv not pick up bbc channels??
Lee Mo It’s not available as an OTA channel in most areas of North America. It’s usually a cable only channel, which is sometimes included with a paid Cable TV subscription from a local cable provider in your area... but it is available OTA in the UK... and if you do happen to live in the UK, it can only be received if the area you live in is close enough to the BBC’s OTA transmission towers.
Ridiculous that the tv tuner can't pick up cbs
I guess you don’t understand how OTA tv reception works. Any OTA channels that may be in your area, must have a strong enough transmission signal, or else the tv’s ATSC tuner won’t be able to lock onto it to decode and save it to memory. If a particular channel is too weak, the tuner won’t be able to “see” it to save it. Things like the distance from your antenna to the various transmission towers, what direction your antenna is pointed in, and any possible obstructions between your antenna and the towers (like tall buildings, large trees, etc), can and will interfere with the channels that you might be able to receive (that’s why there’s a saying in OTA, that the higher your antenna is, the better). Anyway, if any of those things interferes with the signal strength of an OTA channel, the tv’s tuner won’t be able to lock onto it.
