These tutorials done by casting the ball with your hand are SO MUCH BETTER. Concise 15 minutes of actual tutorial. Not an hour plus of someone trying to pull off shots in actual play at the same time. Thank you so much.
I learned a few stranger things 14:57 watching this 🤡 We bought our ST premium from Zach back in June and I checked tonight and we have 1707 games played since then. Love this pin!!!! Thank you guys for being so awesome🙏🏻
Such a fun game I don't doubt it... I've played it over 200 times on location (freeplay with admission fee) and I'm not bored of it yet. They have it right near their entrance and it's one that people coming in of all ages gravitate towards. Love the callouts and tension of the game... the lightshows are great, too, even though I have to trap up sometimes and wait them out because it makes it hard to see the ball haha. Sometimes I'll start a game and hit ramp after ramp, be in multiball, a mode or two and gorgon defeated in a flash, toerh times I flail for 5 minutes and haven't even made much progress
Good tutorial. The MXV skill shot I believe is bouncing the ball off the regular skill shot into the scoop. So drop target into scoop without hitting another switch. Also if you kill 2 demogorgons in Trap Em, you'll have all shots lit red for jackpots worth the value you locked in on killing the first Demogorgon. Can be very lucrative if you use the button and keep your 2 balls in play or use swipe a ball to keep it going
@@FlipNOutPinball he's correct, if you hit the drop targets just right it should careen towards the scoop. hard to do, but it's like 7/8th power on the plunger hitting the 2nd from the right drop target.
Joel, thank for all the quality podcast and video material you all put out, really helps me enjoy pinball when I'm away from the arcade! There's something about a tutorial video with someone just calmly narrating that helps me think a little more clearly about what I'm doing when I'm just struggling to keep the ball alive. I heard Zach mention on a podcast many Stranger Things were coming in as trades lately as people buy newer games. I'm sure many will regret that decision even if they need the space now... such a fun game, the whole package... callouts, gameplay, theme, just fun and easily enjoyed... maybe if it comes down low enough I can buy on the dip lol .
The MVX, you hit the lit drop target and then it goes into the scoop. I've only hit it like 5 times but it is a boat load of points. Like 35,000,000 plus the drop target amount.
2 minutes into this and I'm grateful. This is the second game I've really learned the rules for. The first being deadpool... Which is a little simplier imho... This one... There are some nuances that you cover so quickly.. Appreciate!
I notice you got your super jackpot shot in TK multi-ball mixed up 😝 You were about to explain the 2X shot which is the left ramp, not the saucer, which is confusing since the saucer is the 2x playfield shot. Prem/LE also can lock 2 balls on the left ramp for 3x jackpot. As well as the addition of "Swipe a ball" if you start a different multi-ball with balls locked for TK multi-ball. 😉
You mean the action button on the lock down bar? You can use that to swipe a ball that you have locked in the telekinesis lock for an add a ball during another MB.

The MXV Skill Shot is doing the regular skill shot and it bouncing off into the left scoop without using flippers.
Thanks Joel and team! This was super helpful. Just got our Premium yesterday, and the light kit installed today. Holy crap this game is a banger!

Now THAT is impressive!

One of my favorite games. Wow! Can't wait for season 5 next year! Love the combos on this playfield.
sooooooooo pumped for Final Season too
Nice breakdown, love those!

I've always said the 3M's are Modes, Multiballs, and Multipliers.

Don’t forget the inlane completions! The end of ball bonus can be huge with 5x bonus 😱
Great point!!!
This is super helpful!

I always say this about Stranger Things, having several 1b+ games... this game is all about A-B-B. A-Always, B-Be, B-Bonusing! ABB!

That was super cool. Same way I learn how to play my pins.
Good video.
Mxv skill shot you hit the roaming arrow and the ball needs to land in the left saucer without hitting any other switch
What’s the button on top the game for, on glass between flippers?
